    A ********** had booked a tour to the Holy Lands shortly before the ***** epidemic shut down international travel for a substantial time. I elected to have my funds held by EF Go Ahead Tours for future use. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to do any international travel for quite some time but still had Go Ahead hold my funds. When travel abroad finally reappeared in my life, I was happy to see that the company had instituted solo ************************** began looking for somewhere to go! This past May I was able to travel to ******** with a group of likeminded solo travelers. The trip surpassed my expectations. I would recommend Go Ahead to anyone wanting to travel abroad but who is looking for a solo experience. Group members were primarily "of a certain ************* and we all got along very well. My return flight had a slight glitch requiring an unexpected overnight stay in ******************* regarding the disruption was dealt with very well. I'd recommend Go Ahead for anyone not wanting to travel alone but who also doesn't want or need a travel partner.

    I have been on 6 EF tours both Solo and regular. ll have been amazing. I do prefer the solo tours as not to ensue the single room fees. I also prefer to book my own flights. I understand that companies look for the most cost efficient flights however I prefer non-stop and if there is a connection booked with enough time between flights. I am well travelled and have no issues getting to and from airports. Thank you for your great tours. Next up is *********** in May 2026.

    I booked a tour in Jan 2025 for **********, Tour date was Sept 2025. Had to cancel in Feb 2025 In the mean time EF took $571.00 out of my debit account . When I called to get that payment returned to me, they said it there policy to put $300. into an insurance account and I could not get back the $271.00 because I had not cancelled in 30 days. They had plenty of time to rebook my tour to someone else.. This was my second tour with them and I feel I should have been treated better. I want to know What they did with my ****** dollars since I'm not going on the tour?******* ******

    While on our connecting flight, our flight to Greece was cancelled due to a local strike. (The tour company should have been aware of the risk of cancellations well in advance and communicated with us. They did not). We were not able to get a flight to Greece or anywhere in the area for 4 days, our tour was only 8 days. We decided to cancel the trip and ended up stuck in Washington DC for a few days before being able to get a flight back home ( more expense for us). We feel like we were misled into purchasing travel insurance, which only covers a very small set of circumstances. Not something like having your flight cancelled and not being able to get to the country. The tour company is refusing to refund our money and instead insists on giving us 1 year vouchers for a trip. This can be difficult for multiple people to take 9+ days of work, after we already did that for the first trip we didn’t get to go on. I dont want to go on a tour provided by this company. This experience has been extremely frustrating and expensive. We paid for a service we did not receive.

    The strikes that affected your connecting flight to Greece were announced with very little notice. Unfortunately, we did not have the ability to foresee the broader impact these cancellations would have on rebooking options for all travelers. While strikes in Europe are not frequent, they are a known risk of international travel and can occasionally disrupt even the most carefully planned itineraries.

    We understand how disappointing it must have been to miss your tour. In situations like this, we follow a standard policy designed to help travelers navigate unexpected events. This includes issuing a travel credit so that you can rebook your tour at a later date. Due to the last-minute nature of cancellations and the non-refundable costs incurred on our end, we are not able to offer reimbursements. This is also why we strongly recommend travel insurance. 

    Regarding the insurance policy, we want to clarify that it is sent to travelers after purchase and includes a 10-day risk-free review period. During this time, travelers can review the coverage details and request a full refund for the policy if it does not meet their needs. We’re sorry to hear that your specific situation was not covered, and we understand how that adds to the frustration.

    We sincerely hope you’ll consider using your travel voucher to visit your original destination and experience a tour with EF Go Ahead. The voucher is valid for one year, meaning it must be applied within that time—but your travel can take place later. Please don’t hesitate to call us.     Excellent 1st Trip with EF Tours. We went on the Footsteps of ************ pilgrimage to ****** and the Greek and *************** in April/May 2025. Our Tour Guide ***** was exceptional and most of the daily guides were wonderful. The hotels and transportation were very good; many included meals with wine and beer; excursions well-organized so we arrived at sites before the crowds; the bus driver was amazing; so many beautiful religious and historical sites; and enough free time to explore or shop. We will definitely be traveling with EF Tours again.

    This spring I took my first trip with Go Ahead Tours and was impressed by the breadth of the itinerary presented. Our tour guide was also extremely knowledgeable and proud of her country's history. She also ensured that we were as comfortable as possible. Since returning home I have booked two additional trips with the company as travel is about exploring varying cultures and their customs

    We had a wonderful tour in May 2025 starting in ********* and going all the way up to ******** over 11 days. All the aspects were according to our expectations. Good companions, hotels, coaches, Tour director, guides explanations etc. Also, there was enough flexibility for personal shopping, meeting personal friends, and more time to spend at places already covered with the group. All our experiences were worth cherishing and we felt the money was well spent.We made flight bookings ourselves and this was more economical and convenient.**** / ***** *****

    I have taken 2 trips with Go Ahead and have a third trip planned for next year. The company is accommodating and trys to make your trip as pleasant as possible. You get a good taste of the area you are touring and leaves you wanting to come back.

    EF Go Tours absolutely exceeded my expectations! I was confident that they would provide me with a safe and happy vacation. It was far beyond that, my tour guide ******* went above and beyond to make sure all of my needs were met. I truly believe I experienced a vacation of a lifetime and I am thankful for EF go tours for providing that to me!

    The tour leaders are fantastic. I just returned from ******. Such unique and memorable experiences. The only issue is that, if you make your flight arrangements with them, they may not leave enough layover time.
