  When I first booked my trip with this company, I told the person I was traveling with my family, mentioned who they were, and that all our plans should be the same since we all literally live in the same area (so we're leaving from the same airport, wish to say close by for accomodations, etc). And I know she knew this because she pulled up their reservation while I was on the phone with her to confirm. I noticed way later that I am on a completely different flight going there than my family. It is apparently past the "finalization date" to now change anything but mind you, I told them FROM THE BEGINNING when I booked the trip months prior, that we would be traveling together. It's extremely disappointing that this wasn't taken into account when the flights were made. As it stands now, my family is getting there 4 hours before me and they'll have basically a half a day more than me to explore the city. I also have a little flight anxiety and so it would have been nice to be able to have them on the flight with me. In addition to all this, the support people truly do not want to help you. I mentioned the above to them after they told me they're not going to do anything, and they ghosted me. Haven't heard anything from them since. They could have at least upgraded my flight seats, refunded me a little bit of money, tried to offer SOMETHING for the inconvenience on THEIR part. But again, they do not care. These trips are expensive for what they are in my opinion. I'd go with another company or just book your travel on your own so you don't have to deal with poor customer service, which is basically what you're paying for for stuff like this. I bet you they'll respond to this with something that won't take any accountability like they have with other reviews - as if they didn't play any part at all in this.

It is true that changes to flight itineraries become extremely limited after a tour's finalization date, however we understand the frustration caused by the communication of this information.

  Having taken 8 tours with EF on 3 continents with students, I was interested to see how the "Go Ahead" program would compare. I was impressed; the guide was excellent, the hotels 4/5 star, and the meals too good. I think I gained 10 pounds. The tour it's self included amazing sights and unique opportunities - like kayaking in the rainforest, seeing rare wildlife (we saw all 4 types of monkeys and unusual birds in the wild ) or boating within feet of huge crocodiles. EF also includes a number of educational experiences within it's tours. We learned salsa dancing, toured a pineapple plantation, learned how sugar cane, coffee, and coca are processed among other planned activities. From the planning and preparation to the transportation and ***************, EF strives to remove any worries leaving one to have the best experience possible. 5 stars!

  My wife and I have been on 13 Go Ahead (GA) tours. Weve done walking tours, food and wine tours, and straight sightseeing tours (*******, ****** and ******************************* Heritage, ******* and ****, and returned 5 days ago from ******** and ********). Terrific company, easy to work with. The Tour Director makes or breaks your experience, and weve had marvelous people, some of whom have become friends and keep in touch. Prices are reasonable, accommodations are 3-4-5 star properties, transportation has been professional and clean and safe. Most of the time (varies by country of course) free time to explore on ones own is a feature. Weve thoroughly enjoyed our experiences, have future tours booked already, would recommend for serious consideration to absolutely anyone.

  I always feel well taken care of. The accommodations are nice and the adventures are fun. The leaders of the groups are very informative and helpful.

  They have taken care of me on more than one trip! I have traveled in winter, summer and fall. When you have the get together about what to expect, they prepared you very well and you know what to expect. One trip we had plans problems and were late arrivals and they made sure we reached the hotel and had very little delay. I have traveled as a single and with room made and all of my accommodations have been too notch. I have mot been disappointed with hotels, some meals are better than others but that is to be expected, thank you EF for great travel packages to unique destinations.

  Im so happy that I found EFs ******** for Solo Travelers tour which gave this first-time traveler to ******** a great introduction to a wonderful country. The historical sites, the pleasant climate, the amazing food, and the delightful, friendly people exceeded my expectations.What went well: Our tour director was phenomenal! I have a hard enough time coordinating dinner reservations with two or three friends, but he had to manage twenty-eight feisty (mostly ***** and Boomer) females and did it with humor and skill. The tour was a nice balance of scheduled events and free time for exploration. I did the 9d tour without the extension and the itinerary was great--flying into *****, visiting Evora, ******* and the *******, then flying out of ******. It was the perfect sampler platter and I have a better sense of how to plan my next trip to ********. I would also encourage booking the excursions. Could be improved: Our group (28) was too large, so my recommendation would be to cap each tour at ***** **** Also, I know that the hotels had to stay within a certain tourist class range to keep the package price affordable, but I do wish that the hotels in ***** and ****** were a little closer to the city center. Thank you, EF, for allowing me to take my dream trip to ******** and Ive already booked my next trip. Tour rating 4.5/5 highly recommended!

  I chose EF Tours to travel to ******** and Ireland, my first trip to another continent ever and first trip in 10 years thinking it would be the trip of my lifetime. If you want to spend a lot of time on a coach (bus) traveling to the various attractions outlined in the itinerary, this trip is for you. Be prepared to be on the clock all the time. During the 9 days I was part of the group, we traveled almost ***** kilometers according to my ****** timeline summary and there were 2 days I did not go with the group. Not enough time spent at the major attractions such as the ************** in *******, the *************** and the Cliff of Moher, 1 to 2 hours at each of these when we could have easily spent half to a full day each of these attractions. The schedule is grueling and you are always on the clock to get back on the bus to get to the next thing on the itinerary. Not at all pleasurable.

  Did Europe in the fall it was amazing. The hotels were awesome. The food was always good. Had ample free time and a great tour guide. Would go EF again absolutely.

  My ******* had a wonderful trip to *************** The weather was not so great but the sites were spectacular!! Our Tour Guide, *****, was genuinely helpful and accommodating for all members of our EF Tour. I highly suggest this trip to anyone who loves history, art or just traveling to see Majestic sites.

  First time going on an organized tour like this, and the overall experience was very good. The itinerary was as promised, the flight arrangements, while not great, were good and provided adequate time at the connection points. The tour guide was top notch. There were some side trips that got cancelled, but the guide did his best to make up for them. The refund for the one I had that was cancelled did finally come through. It takes a while, but it does get done.I would travel with them again.
