    This company is trying to get me to pay $658.99 in bad debt but they refuse to give any information regarding the debt (who is the debt from, when, etc) and they cannot verify the last 4 of my social or birthday. They are very unprofessional and disrespectful with little to no information but demand and harass repeatedly for personal payment information.

    Unifin as conducted its practice contrary to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). They are engaging in predatory harassment by refusing to identify themselves in the phone call. I specifically requested what organization they were calling on behalf of and the individual said they could not tell me, which is a violation of the ***** requirement to disclose the company association. Furthermore, they called me seeking to speak with a relative. I understand that the act restricts debt collection agencies from speaking to family members about the debt specifically, yet the individual hung up on me when I requested where they got my information from. The government has a responsibility to limit such behavior by corrupt organizations and I request that the Better Business Bureau look specifically into the call procedure guidelines for this company. I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of oversight.

    They asked for a $1000 a month, and said the overall would be a lesser amount. I told then I could do $500 bi-weekly. They said said I would have to pay full amount. Huh? 100% shady at best

    Unprofessional, Insulting, and nasty. As if you've done something personally to them. I have never been spoken to in such a condescending and demeaning manner. The kicker is, I was calling to pay the debt, but was spoken to so awfully that it made me reconsider. Not Even 1 star but that's not an option.

    Tried to collect on a debt from over 5 years ago after I gave them specific instructions that debt was in bankruptcy Then I said I was recording them and they hung up . Stay clear of this company some real shady doings.

    They have called my cell number several times, finally called back using *67 and they referenced the full name of someone that I have never heard of.. How they get their information for calls is a breach of privacy if they are calling random numbers to collect money. It's a joke.

    UNIFIN had a few of my accounts I wanted to settle. I settled a total of 2 with them and was told I had a 3rd account. We came to an agreement, and I paid that account as well. A few days later after not receiving a receipt, I called in and was told that that account was no longer with UNIFIN and the agreement was null and void and would receive a call back within a few hours or the very next day. This supervisor was supposed to be reopening the account and to accept the payment. Three days later no call. I called back, talked to another supervisor, who advised me a refund was processed 30 minutes after I made the payment due to it not being "their" account any longer. So it took 5 days for them to figure this out and waste countless calls, emails and time. BEFORE YOU PAY ANYTHING OFF WITH THEM, MAKE SURE THEY ARE THE OWNERS OF THAT ACCOUNT BY LETTER OR EMAIL.

    Unifin ********************************* Dear Unifin,This letter serves as a formal cease and desist notice regarding all forms of communication with me and my family, effective immediately. I demand that you cease all contact, including but not limited to phone calls, emails, text messages, and any form of physical approach towards me or my family members.Despite previous requests for cessation of communication, you have continued to contact me and my family, causing undue harassment and distress. This behavior is unacceptable and must cease immediately.Please be advised that any further attempts to contact me or my family will be considered harassment under the law. I am documenting all previous attempts at contact and will not hesitate to pursue legal action if necessary to enforce this demand.I expect a written confirmation from you that you have received and understood this cease and desist notice. Please send your response to the address listed above.Failure to comply with this demand will leave me no choice but to take further legal action to protect my rights and the rights of my family members.Sincerely,

    I received a call from a representative calling to discuss a personal business matter, just give him my address... didn't even bother to identify who he was calling on behalf of LOL. I called the number back and Unifin. After being hung up on twice when I stated I'm not giving an organization I know nothing about ***, I spoke to a supervisor who let me know it was for QVC debt from 2018 or 2019. I went and paid the debt from the original source and called Unifin back to get my ********* number and tell them it had been paid and not to contact me again. A few reps ********* reading a script, clearly they are not skilled at having a conversation. A complete train wreck of an organization. Who thinks in 2024 that people will give out their personal information to a number the phone says scam likely AND reps don't identify themselves. I'd be embarrassed to work here and leadership needs a reality check.

    Worst service I have had with a collector they would supply no invoices or when I owed this $900 to and when etc etc. I ignored them it has to be a scam
