Thank you for the feedback. Sky Protection is a marketer of vehicle service contracts for third party service contract companies. Sky Protection provides a valued opportunity for consumers to make an informed decision whether to purchase coverage to protect their investment. You received the letter so, as a consumer, you can choose whether to activate a service contract in the event your dealer may have not offered you the opportunity to purchase one when you acquired your vehicle.
Our records indicate you contacted us on 12/21/2023 to set up a vehicle service agreement. Later, the same day, you called into our customer ********************** line to cancel the coverage. Our representative assisted with the cancellation process and the activation payment of $225 was refunded

1 starAfter I purchased a vehicle, they sent me several mailers claiming I had to set up a warranty with them. I did so, no realizing I didn't need to. Employee over the phone assisting me claimed they would only charge me once for the warranty "activation" but that was a lie. It's a monthly fee and they are not the warranty carrier for my vehicle like they said they wereSky Auto Protection

We appreciate your feedback. Sky Protection is a marketer of vehicle service contracts through service contract providers. Our offer is intended to provide you an opportunity to consider acquiring a vehicle service contract in the event you were not offered one at the time of your purchase. We reviewed the details of your sales interaction with us on October 20, 2023 and according to the call our sales representative thoroughly discussed the benefits and cost of the coverage, explaining it would cost $227.79 recurring for 18 months. Subsequently, you decided to proceed with the setup of the coverage. However, when you called on December 20, 2023 and requested to cancel your refund was processed.Review fromMark F

1 starI'm at a loss for words. While they were fairly deceptive by coming across as an agnostic recommendation to "activate" extended warranty and thinking it matched the original warranty timeframe of annual coverage... I'll own that this part was our fault for not doing enough research on their deceptive practices and that their $200 fee was actually billed monthly (which is baffling since it's entirely separate of car insurance but has similar coverages). What I'm deeply frustrated about is that after my wife spent 10 minutes listening to a customer support agent go on and on about what their offerings are when we just wanted to cancel due to the original misunderstanding.. I couldn't stand stand the agent brushing over my wife's multiple requests to cancel by talking more about their service. So I stepped in and cut him off to bluntly ask to cancel. The agent proceeded to get frustrated and got elevated to the point that he called me a kid and tried to get my wife back on the phone instead. As a 36 year old man and sales manager of a fortune 200 company that has legitimately worked with thousands of organizations... I've never been so disgusted with poor customer support and an agent talking over a client in my life. When there's smoke, there's fire, and when there's a fire like this unqualified support agent... it makes me think there's no proper ***************** / support training / etc. to view this as anything other than a shady organization. I can only hope that they review their call logs to hold their own people accountable for trashing their ************* clients in one fell swoop.Sky Auto Protection

1 starObvious scam. DO NOT CALL them. I received a letter in the mail and apparently, I own a vehicle that is a VEHICLE. It's not a specific type of car or anything. The scam is quite lame, but it's the stereotypical scam and thus all the more funny.Sky Auto Protection

Upon reviewing your account, we found that initiated the call to our office on called us on 12/04/2023 in response to a solicitation you received regarding an offer to set up a vehicle service agreement, extending coverage beyond the factory warranty for the vehicle. During that call, our representative explicitly stated the name of our company, explained the coverage benefits, and outlined the associated cost of ****** recurring for 18months. You subsequently proceeded with setting up the coverage.
Regarding the attempted charges, we want to clarify that the card was declined two times during the call. The payment was approved once you authorized the transaction with MasterCard. This process was explained when you called the customer ********************** back on the same day to inquire about the multiple charge attempts.
If you find the coverage unsatisfactory or if you wish to cancel, we recommend reaching out to our customer ********************** team at the earliest convenience.

1 starI had to leave a star but should be a -5 star rating. As stated in all the posts this is a complete SCAM. Do not believe one scripted word from these people. I unfortunately called and signed up for it thinking it would be an additional coverage for my vehicle but after reviewing what I have with my current vehicle coverage it is redundant so I called back to cancel my coverage with SP Activation services and talked to their customer ********************** department. I asked for a complete refund. They gave me so delay by putting me on hold and needed to look for something and check with a manager. After several minutes they gave an excuse that they cannot until 10 days after the activation of my coverage (which is BS). I then asked to speak with a manager to clarify this but got no where. More delays and after a long time on hold again I hung up then called back to same situation. While I was on hold I disputed the charge from them with my cc company and they told me are investigating it. I also reported SP activation services to every consumer fraud website and service along with a lengthy review and letter to the states attorney office. States attorney office told me this company has over 500 complaints and are currently under heavy investigation from the state. I have no idea why such a company can operate with such a large amount of negative reviews and complaints against them but they need to be stopped. Please dont fall this SCAM and if you receive a letter report it.Review fromArthur T

1 starDo not use for protection on your car, not only do they half a** pay for the repairs that's are supposedly covered under warranty, they look for the cheapest possible part that is the brands. I was informed that any repairs covered under warranty would also cover a loaner vehicle but that was a lie. Guess who told the dealership they were only pay 300$ out of a 700$ bill? Sky auto. Guess who only wants to pay for 2/4 hours of labor? Sky auto. So if your looking for a half a** place to cover your warranty sky auto is the warranty for you. Not to mention they charge almost 200$ per month to be a half a** business place.Sky Auto Protection
