      It is obvious why this company is not BBB accredited. I have had this program for 4 years. I have tried to use it to make repairs to "covered" parts. Every time the company has some reason for not covering the repair. This company is nothing more than Thieves. I have learned my ****** and will never buy an extended warranty again. This last time when requesting to repair a transmission I was basically told that I had to wait until the transmission completely failed (stranding me some where) and then maybe they would cover the repair. They take people's money and do not cover any repairs.

      Sky Protection is a marketer (seller) of service contracts for third-party companies. The service contact is a two-party agreement between you and the company obligated to perform under the service contract. The name of the administrator is located in the definition section of your contract. Sky Protection does not process nor is it authorized to process claims for those companies and is not privy to information about your claims(s). We urge you to contact the claims administrator listed in your contact for assistance. We will contact you via email requesting a copy of your agreement to see if we can assist in indemnifying the claims administrator for you.

      The worst company ever. Do not go through them. I talked to 3 different reps and they all promised me different things. Why would I want to pay $230 for a warranty when my car payment isn't even that much? After they charged me $230 two months in a row I reached out to have It canceled. They told me it was canceled and that they would give me a refund and they did not, then they charged me again. One rep said they did refund me, another said they can't. Just a very inconsistent scammy company.

      Thank you for your feedback. Our records indicate you initially contacted us on November 6, 2023, regarding a solicitation you received for a vehicle service agreement. During this call, our representative thoroughly explained the coverage, benefits, associated costs, and the cancellation policy. At that time, you chose to purchase the agreement. On December 14, 2023, you contacted our customer ********************** team to inquire about canceling the plan due to financial reasons. Our representative explained the coverage is designed to protect your investment, and in an effort to accommodate your situation, assisted you in restructuring the terms of your plan to meet your budget. After this discussion, you agreed to retain the coverage. However, on January 10, ****, you changed your mind and contacted us to proceed with the cancellation. Our representative assisted in this process, going over the refund process, including information needed to consummate the cancellation.

      Due to BBB terms I cant post names even though I really want to find out if the person claiming to be the sup (only after I requested for a sup) was an actual sup. I already know youre going to claim what I said is wrong & that the rep told me clearly of everything. From what I remember the rep was very misleading with how he worded it all. Things like this is probably why their BBB was suspended, which I just noticed. Ill own that Im at fault for failing to not take the time to look into this thoroughly. I bought extra coverage through my credit union when I bought my vehicle. They said Id receive a notice from a third-party to activate it. Within that timeframe (Sky Protection) reached out. I assumed this was the third-party because of that. He said they just needed to get the activation fee from me ($244). The way he worded it made it seem like it was a yearly fee to keep it active. Fast-forward a month and a half & Im receiving calls from the billing department that my account is in passive status. I called back to see what was going on. They said that I was misinformed & that this is a monthly fee & that this has nothing to do with the bank. I asked for a refund & to cancel my service. She transferred me to C.S. to help me get that refund. Once transferred, I was told I could not get a refund. I tried explaining my situation per what the billing department told me to do. He told me that thats not what she said. He wasnt on the call, but yet he claims that he knows exactly what she said to me. When I asked to speak to a Sup. he then conveniently claimed to be the Sup. I asked to speak to another one. He said he was the only Sup. ******** and that he was helping pick up calls. He said there is nothing they could do since I didnt reach out within the 30 days. I tried telling him how misleading everything was when I thought it yearly, but he didnt seem to care. The employees/sups need better training. Stop misleading people. 0 stars if I could

      Received a letter stating I needed to contact them within a week to activate my coverage. I called them and they advised I needed to activate my Auto coverage so I am covered. I probed for details however they would not answer questions. I asked if they can see if I already paid for coverage through my dealer. They advised they have no way to see if I am active and paid. She was wanting me to activate my current coverage and pay but had no way to see if I am active and paid?? This company is a Scam and preying on people with deceitful letters and verbiage.

      We appreciate the feedback and provide the following information. Sky Protection is a marketer of service contracts through third-party service contract companies.  You received an offer to contact Sky with the opportunity to inquire about available plans and purchase a plan fitting your needs to cover unexpected costs due to mechanical or electrical failure with your vehicle. The mailer you received advises Sky is not associated with any dealer or the manufacturer of your vehicle. Sky does not have access to whether you have coverage through another company. If you previously purchased coverage through Sky the company would have been able to advise you as such.

      ****, same ole thing!!! Preying on others tried to cancel and the customer ********************** guy keep saying I was doing everything wrong!! Shame on people trying to scam nothing but a bunch of bums sitting behind a screen. Everytime I see this company pop up I WILL MAKE SURE they fail!!!

      Horrible **** like service, poor customer support. I called to cancel in June of last year, I was assured no more payments would be made and my account would be closed, they continued to collect payments even after my debit card expired, I am unsure how they got the new card information. Highly suspicious marketing and aggressive business practices. I would give them zero stars if possible. Do not do business with this company.

      Thank you for providing information about your interaction with our company. Following the purchase of the contract in March 2022, you contacted Sky a couple of months later about the affordability of the plan. The company assisted you in accommodating you by restructuring the plan to fit your budget. Subsequently you contacted Sky this month and spoke with a customer ********************** representative requesting to cancel the plan. The representative discussed the refund process with you. The contract was noted as canceled upon receipt of the notarized odometer reading from you the refund will be provided.

      Terrible company, they manipulate first time car owners to buy into their low quality coverage at the threat of "not being covered" which in my state is a crime. Then when you call to cancel, even within the time they belittle you and make it hard to cancel.If you ever get mail from them, I would ask your dealership or someone that is more credible than SP Activation Services and the other companies they work with (Sky *********)

      Not even 1 star! Total ****! I was told one amount only never mentioned payment plan! Also Dec 8 I agreed and was told 7 to 10 days and just got info jan 2! I want a full refund and complete cancelation!

      Our records indicate that on December 8, 2023, you contacted our office inquiring about a vehicle service solicitation. During the call,our representative provided information about the coverage and the costs assisted in setting up the agreement. As of January 8, ****, within the 30-day review period, we have canceled the policy per your request and initiated a full refund.

      So I just bought a car a few months ago and on December 1st 2023. I received a call from a person from this company saying that I failed to pay for my one time activation fee of $199.00 and that my warranty would be voided if I didn't pay it today. The person that I spoke to had all my information about the car that I purchased. I had alot going on that day and my air conditioning had just went out that same day. So I payed the activation fee and they said they'd send me my folder and membership card. Well I received the folder and card finally. So I call the place where I bought my car to see where I can take it to get it fixed. They gave me a place to go to and the name of my extended warranty provider and it was not this company. This is so messed up. I want my money back or I will take legal action.

      Thank you for your feedback.  Sky Protection is a marketer of vehicle service contracts for third party service contract companies.  Sky Protection provides a valued opportunity for consumers to make an informed decision whether to purchase coverage to protect their investment.  You received the letters so as a consumer, you can choose whether to activate a service contract in the event your dealer may not have offered you the opportunity at the time of purchase.

      After reviewing the call you initiated to our office on December 1, 2023 we found that the sales representative spoke clearly and thoroughly explained the service agreement and the costs associated with the program.  Explaining the cost was $199.00 recurring for 18 months.  ****************, when you asked for clarification regarding the payment, the representative again,very clearly reiterated that
      that the cost would be $199.00 recurring for the first year and half and also clearly explained the cancellation policy. 

      We understand consumers may change their minds.  If you desire to cancel the contract, please contact the customer ********************** number in the material you received and a customer ********************** team member will assist you.
