      This company is a fraud and said I needed a one time payment to ensure my factory warranty is covered. I bought my first brand new car this year and once I registered it at the **** I started to receive letters that my warranty will expire if I dont activate it. I was deceived and was told it is a one time payment. 3 weeks later, I get a packet in the mail saying I signed up for a payment plan of $4662 and have to pay $245 a month x 18. It looks like they put a lienholder on my car which I will now have to cancel. IT IS A SCAM.

Our records show you called Sky Protection on January 25, ****, in response to the solicitation you received. After our representative explained the details and associated costs, explaining the cost of $245 reoccurring for the first 18 months. During the call you chose to purchase the plan providing the company with authorization to draft your account.We also see that you called back on 2/20/**** to cancel the coverage and our representative explained to you that the coverage had already been cancelled out due to you charging back the first payment through your bank.If you have any further concerns or questions, we encourage you to contact our customer ********************** department.

      The *** is selling your information. I didn't buy a car, I registered in a new state. Suddenly I'm getting warranty offers left and right. The only one dumb enough to name their "company" on the leaflets and spam mailers was this one. It is a scam. It's legal for the *** to sell your information by the way. It's how they supplement their income. Crazy to think you have to give up your right to privacy to legally own and operate a vehicle in the U.S. What a nation we live in.

Sky Protection does not have access to whether any consumer may have purchased coverage through another company as Sky does not have access to records other than its own.       The dealership sells your info to these con artist. I got three different notices in the mail trying to scam.... Read the contract you signed when you bought your car it says they will sell your info. to 3rd party companies. Its them along with the "companies" that should be ashamed and fined or made to stop. Its all about the money.. people do not count anymore. Period.

      I dont use them and didn't lose money to them but I got a letter in the mail and can tell its a scam. I don't like how they just have my info though. They need to be shut down and investigated further. I will be pushing that. If you're wondering then look no further and just don't do it. All they will give you is a headache.

      This company is a true scam. I got a letter in the mail yesterday 1/30/24, that warranty on my car was going to lapse. So, this being my first car I panicked and called the company. The first person I spoke with was a lady she was very professional and informative. But later that even I got more letters in the mail about different warranties. So that's when I knew something wasn't right. Long story short I called the company back and canceled because I realized I was stilled covered and I didn't need and i did research and found out this company was scamming people. When I called back this guy was very rude and arrogant. He talked to be like I was nothing, When I asked for a refund he said it will take 7 to 10 business days, and that I couldn't get an email for a confirmation. I took action and called my bank and got them blocked from taking money out of my account if they tried too. Just a few mins around 8 something at night I got an alert showing where they tried to take money from me but there sneaky ***** is blocked. I will be taking legal actions for this and I hope to get my full refund of ******.

      According to the information provided, the you contacted our company on 01/30/2024 regarding an offer for a vehicle service agreement that extends coverage beyond the manufacturer's warranty. Our representative went over the benefits and cost, and at that time you proceeded with setting up the coverage. Our recording does not indicate that you mentioned having another policy elsewhere, nor would we have access to that.Later that day we see that you called back to our customer ********************** department to cancel the coverage. Our representative attempted to address any misunderstandings and then proceeded to cancel the coverage as per your request. A full refund was issued promptly. *** does not draft monthly payments from the contract holders bank. Sky drafts the initial down payment and the payment provider to which *** is not a party to, drafts the contract holders account based on the authorization received at the of purchase.

      I seriously wish I had seen all these reviews. I looked on their sight like a fool. Let me share some real review. After being lied to about how the program works, they're people calling time after time and saying it is a one time charge of $150.00 for a service warranty. Yes one time, I see them argue with customers on here and my conversations are "recorded right" so yes you all said a one time fee. I can throw some names out there too to prove I am not lying about what you all Said Sky auto. Surprise it is not. On top of that they tell you you can take it to any one who is a certified automobile provider and they would cover any agreed upon parts 100% all I would pay is the deductible. Again, they lied. It is a percentage. They pay what they want and you're stuck with the bill. They say "some places over charge" which may be true, but tell me why after taking it to a dealership they said they work with and a mechanic shop THEY suggested, I still get stuck with bills over $400 each. If these people are over charging that has nothing to deal with us. We are paying for your services. They will tell you one thing and lead you to claims, billing etc. Until you are working in a circle and what happens? you need your car and have to pay what you can. They dont care and they dont do 100% it is a percentage of the part, the labor, everything. My advice, find a service contract that has excellent customer ********************** and who will send you all the information BEFORE you get on board, as well as mean it when they say all you will have to pay is the deductible. They say the claims auditor can choose to either pay what they want for the repair or pay in full, it's their discreation. Meanwhile if you do go to someone they will cover, they will still find a reason not to pay the same suggested repair they just said they would if it was "xyzzy" amount.

      **********, thank you for your feedback. Sky Protection is the seller of service contracts for third party service contract companies that is the obligor providing coverage. The coverage was purchased in 2022.  At time of purchase the Sky representative provided information about the benefits and cost of the agreement when purchased.  Sky does not process claims for service contract company. Any communication regarding claims were between you and the service contract company. You requested and *** assisted in canceling your contract as requested. If you wish to obtain information about a claim, please contact the claims number in your service contract for assistance. The service contract company will happy to answer any questions you may have.

      This company sent me a letter in the mail giving me a deadline to extend my warranty. I suffered from a stroke so I missed the deadline and called them upon opening my mail. The woman tells me that one payment of $182 would get me 4 years of protection. I had her repeat herself several times and asked her 5 different ways to make sure I was getting her correctly. I make the $182 payment and then I get a packet in the mail showing that she signed me up for a $4600 payment plan of $182 monthly. I call to complain and the guy who answers only refunds me one of 2 months and tells me he refunded both. I only get one refund, so I call again and they pull my initial recording where they hear the woman lying to me so I can get approved for the remaining refund. This company is dishonest, deceitful, and most likely being ran by criminals
