1 starThis is the most horrible company I have ever dealt with. If I were you i stay away from this company. I am trying to buy off my water heater lease, and my home closing date is October 30th, 2024. They cannot help with that and said it will take them 30 days to process the invoice, and they can't take the payment before. In the buyoff letter it is mentioned " If you need to make the payment before you receive the invoice, please call 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX to make the payment over the phone or visit our website at ********************************** and utilize our online payment system option. Guess what! After calling and waiting 45 minutes, not only representative denied me to help me with process and I need to wait 30 days. I do not know but in this modern age, what kind of company is this which cannot process a lease buyout payment on the same day when I have received the buyout payment form with the amount on it. The word disappointment can't even describe feelings.Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starI did not apply for Pivotal Home Solutions and they automatically enroll me in my Nicor Gas bill. I was surprised that my Nicor gas bill was high and when I called them, I found out that they enroll me without applying. Its against the law to include this on my bill without my permission. 1 starI have had their service since I purchased my home. Trying to schedule my yearly inspection is next to impossible. The statement says to use the one line chat. That tells you to call. Trying to get through to them is next to impossible. Unless you have hours to wait on hold.
Terrible customer service. I used the warranty once. It took an act of congress to get a service guy to come. He didn’t show. It was below freezing. Then had to fight to get the work covered. I had to pay up front another vendor to fix my heat.Review fromKelly H

1 starI signed up for a power surge warranty ($10,000) since March of 2022. i had a power surge that wiped out some appliances and other electronic devices. I filed a claim with Oncourse Home Solutions, and they told me that I had to get my own electrician or qualified professional to come and validate the claim with the equipment/appliances that were faulty. It took me a couple of weeks to do this as well as I was required to pay for all the replacements. I submitted all the paperwork into Oncourse and on August 8, 2024. They told me at first it would take 4-6 weeks from the day I submitted the claim. On September 25th, I receive an email stating they needed the electrician's contact number in which I responded to them shortly with the phone number by email. I called on October 1st to learn that not only was my case denied but it was closed. They had closed my case on September 30th. I have tried several times to contact the claims department but they have no phone number and the only way you can reach them is by email. Even their front representatives cannot contact them through phone. This is terrible service and I have done everything they have asked of me. I feel this company is a hoax and beware!!! I have tried to speak to a supervisor, and they state there is no supervisor on site. I was told if I cancel my service now that I would negate my claim which I don't understand if I have paid for this service when my power surge went out, why would this not be covered from that coverage period. Again I feel this company is a hoax because all they want to do is sell you a plan and when you have a claim, they wait a long period of time to respond and then give you the run around while you are still paying for a plan. I plan on getting my legal counsel involved in this at this point. Do not do business with this company because they are misleading and do not follow through on their contracts.Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starI can't give them any stars . This is a scam I've been with them for a year . They send somebody out and said it needs to be replaced . I replaced it and been calling for 3 months for a claim and getting a run around. I've been trying to cancel for 2 mnths it took 7 weeks to get somebody to finally cancel it, I just received another bill and now I've been on hold for an hour they don't want to cancel period . I'm on hold for hours everytime I call . I hate that I ever got involved with them I've been paying 1000s of dollars to them this is rediculous. My first time ever writing a bad review on here ever ...this is depressing ?? ?? ??Review fromChristine B

1 starI was informed that I was rolled into their coverage in 2018 when Vectren converted over to Center point. I never approved the service nor applied for it. The companies just decided to add people to their coverage. There needs a major investigation into this whole company and the process by the ***** and BBB. The *** told me I never received a letter about it because I never used it or requested it. I never used it or request it because I never knew I had it because I never asked for it. This company has scammed customers that never knew they were customers. I never checked the bill for it since I never asked for it and thought it was part of the supply company. I asked for the policy and the *** said he emailed it which I never received. I also asked for it by mail which I am waiting to get. They should not be allowed to operate this way that misleads people and scams them like this.Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starThe following email was sent to Oncourse:To Whom it May Concern Ref: #Water ************** was first requested, on the very early morning of Aug. 13, 2024, but to no avail, we were without hot water for 8 1/2/ days. Long hours on the phone with your call center staff and management teams proved a total waste of time with lots of promises of "we'll have someone out there soon" as days went on. We could not wait any longer and had little faith that you could find a technician and honor your contract agreement with us. Aug 20, 2024 we finally had to reach out to a local technician that we paid out of our pockets. We are, therefore, asking for reimbursement in the amount of $284.00, See attachment.Please issue check to ***************************** and mail check to:************************************* ***************, IN ***** Thank you for your consideration.No one responded to this email. We again reached out to Oncourse Home Solution, in an attempt to be reimbursed to No Avail. *** is telling us that because they did not not give us authorization to bring in a 3rd party technician they will Not reimburse us. We have a written contract & cannot find anywhere any such statement. Non-the-less 10 days is too long for such a large company to find a technician in the 2nd largest city in *******. Customer satisfaction does not exist with this company only the customers payment into their program is all they seek until the next customer come along. We cancelled my service agreement with OSS today, called NIPSCO to confirm that No other payments go to OHS, NIPSCO could not verify it yet, but encouraged us to be watchful for the removal of this auto charge within the coming weeks. Wonder if I can even stop OHS because NIPSCO states they cannot stop it on their end, everything is in OHS hands. Lord help us and the next sucker that come along.Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starThis business is connected with American home solutions at least a water heater for the last 10 years, selling my home and trying to buy out the lease has been a nightmare joy specifically a supervisor there was extremely unhelpful and quite rude to be honest with you. I just wanna pay off a lease and their systems have transitioned and it is my Problem Ive been calling since July 12 and date August 19. Ive been unable to complete the service a simple buyout, but they did manage to be able to bill me again for the services.Review fromSherman R

1 starOn 7/12/2024 I complain that i was, charge for inside plumbing which i never agreed to. They would not deduct thank extra charge so i cancelled my contract. on 7/12/2024 on 7/16/2024 i received a email confirming that, confirmation#*******. on 8/10/2024 they sent another payment for $47.48 which i never agreed to, to my credit card, they will not return my money, they claim that it was payment for the previous month which i had cancelled on 7/12/2024 for the over payment that they sent out again on 8/10/2024.Oncourse Home Solutions
