1 starHad this service for at least 9 years pushing them extra money on time and now i have to use the service they offer and they're giving me the run around. They're saying it'll take 4 weeks to look information i sent them weeks ago and then another 3 weeks to receive my reimbursement. But they don't know if the information i sent was even looked at because it's a whole nother department that looks at it that doesn't have a direct line. Everytime i call it's the same excuse. They don't even deserve the one Star i gave them.Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starHad "insurance" for almost 10 years and when it was needed for clogged main line they had all kind of excuses not to pay. Was supposedly to call them first but my problem happened unexpectedly early on Saturday morning. Water backing up in laundry room and I panicked and called local plumber right away. Could not have no water or toilets over the weekend. After repair was done I remembered I had "insurance" through Nicor. Called to get reimbursed and after doing paperwork and phone calls, only was reimbursed for 30% of the bill. Would have been cheaper not to have "insurance". *********************Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starI had a yearly service for furnace repairs last year at $286.92 and it increased to $407.76 this year for the same service, but that is not my issue (although being a senior retiree money is tight.)In the past the service people sent by Pivotal told me my furnace was so old, they may not renew it the next time, so I purchased a new furnace this summer (which included a year service from another company). I received a bill from Pivotal and I returned it and stated to cancel this service since it was no longer needed (since I have another contract). This was disregarded and I received another bill, and then I called customer service and they cancelled the service. Later I received a pro-rated bill of $102.78. I called customer service again when I received this $102.78 bill and talked to **** (@9:30 2/13/23) and explained the whole story, she couldn't do anything so I asked to talk to the manager. She transferred me to ***** (@9:45 2/12/23) and he was very rude and said I had to pay the full amount of that bill and "that was that" and actually hung up on me. (I am really upset at the manger there and contemplating small claims court although that is a $40. filing fee, but it is a matter of principal rather than just money.)Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starHad Nicor Home solutions for 20+ years. Pivotal Home solutions is terrible. In fact, it's non existent. Claim on my washing machine since 12/27/********* different service companies have responded, two of them came out, ordered the part (a lid lock - $24 on Amazon). Still nothing.....I could have purchased a new washer for the amount of money I've spent at the laundromat. Has anybody seen a class action suit start yet on breach of contract? Just wondering.Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starI bought my house in 2017 and pivotal home solutions was connected to my vectren bill. I looked up their terms and conditions but was amazed at how complex they were so I decided to call and talk to a representative. I was told that I had 2 options if I needed service they would provide the service provider UNLESS I choose to use my own trusted licensed provider that I could have them do the work and get reimbursed. I was not told that they may not have someone in my area to service my address or I wouldn't have signed up with them 6 years ago and either went with some other warranty company that actually has someone that comes to my address or put that monthly payment in a savings plan. Needless to say after 6 years I made my first claim call to pivotal home solutions only to find out that none of my coverages have the option of them providing a service provider only the reimbursement option. This started on January 7 2023 and as of February 7 2023 have no solution. I was told on January 30th 2023 when I called to cancel my coverages that a specialist would be in touch with me in 48 to 72 hours to discuss how many months of my 6 years of payments would be reimbursed due to being misled 6 years ago. I got a call today February 7 2023 8 days later, by a so called SPECIALIST, he called himself a supervisor which I have already talked to 3 supervisors. He told me he was calling about an electrical reimbursement which was not true i am waiting on a specialist to contact me about monthly payment reimbursements. I have been told they do not have a corporate phone number only email. I have emailed the option of corporate and the option of the president with no response. I need accountability. Over the last month I have been lied to, laughed at, hung up on, transferred to the automated survey in the middle of calls, and was finally told I would be called about my monthly payment reimbursements yet I am still waiting. This does not need to happen to more and more people.Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starI purchased the *** plan in 2021. When I needed to use it, they failed to come and repair my outside water line. I let the matter go as I got another company to make the repair which I paid out of my pocket. I decided to cancel my *** account in December 2022 as I was not satisfied with their service. I got a confirmation for the cancelled account and my *** service would end as of 01/23/2023. It's now 02/01/2023 and *** has deducted the $32.90 payment from my account. This should not be and I am requesting the $32.90 be refunded (credited) back to my bank account or send me a refund check in the mail. I will never refer this company to anyone else.Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starI bought and was encouraged to by the more expensive plan. I purchased the home warranty so I could have piece of mind. My clothes dryer quit working, I called in and they want me to find a repair person, pay them for their service and they may reimburse me. This is not satisfactory, I purchased the warranty so I wouldn't have to deal with this. I pay them almost $100 a month and they take it without providing a service I thought and believed I was getting.Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starI've had Pivotal Home Solutions for quite a few years and everything was fine before the pandemic. If I had a problem, they would send out a technician and everything would be fixed but now it seems like they only have a few companies that they work with and getting a problem fixed is impossible. In August I had a broken drain pipe under my kitchen sink that was leaking into my furnace. Out of the three companies that they assigned my claim to, one only worked on appliances and the other two told me it would take a week to three weeks to respond. Pivotal finally suggested that I get my own company to fix the problem and then submit the bill to them. They had a problem with how my invoice was written by the other company so they would not reimburse me. Yesterday, I noticed that my refrigerator had a strange odor so I called Pivotal. First the recording stated that they were only taking emergency calls until 6 AM the next day but I did talk to an associate and they opened a claim. When the technician called he said he could not come out until Friday. I had called on Tuesday. When I called Pivotal back they told me that they only had one company to do appliance repairs.Last year Pivotal raised the rate of their service and I feel like I'm getting less service. I understand that prices go up and I normally agree with price increases if I feel like I'm getting a good service but Pivotal seems to have a very limited amount of companies that they work with so getting service is taking longer and longer. Part of my Complete Home Plan states that if the appliance is not able to be repaired, you will receive replacement coverage. That is hard to do when you can't get a technician to come out to service an appliance which must save Pivotal quite a bit of money. It also seems they save quite a bit of money if they tell you to get your own technician and then refuse to pay the invoice when it is submitted.I will be leaving Pivotal for another company immediately.Oncourse Home Solutions

1 starAbsolutely the worst customer service ever. My aunt had been without water for over 3 weeks while being given the run arun by Pivotal's overseas customer department. It is now a month and she still has not received corrective action from them. As her representative, my next steps are to file complaints with the insurance commissioners in both states.
