      Getting through the phone prompts to speak with someone is tedious. When you get through to customer service frequently results with too much time on hold as they have to call another department to get answers or schedule a service call. They don't have enough techs in the field resulting on scheduling service 2 or months in advance. They don't follow through on requested contract changes resulting in the need for more long calls to customer service. Some customer service reps have argued with me instead of listening to understand the issue I was calling about.

      The guy who installed my furnace on 2/04/2023 in ******* on ****** St.Well he had did a great job on installing my brand new Carrier furnace and it works just great for my family ******************************

      Pivotal Home Solutions was a life-saver! I had a serious sewer back-up issue that they fixed. It was thousands of dollars and all I paid for was the village work permit. I am telling everyone that it was so worth the few dollars a month to get this coverage. You never know when something is going to go wrong.

      I called Pivotal to repair heating unit. ******* center responded promptly and assigned a local service company. After 2 hours I called the assigned local service provider, they refused to provide service that day. So, called Pivotal back, they located another company and helped to fix my unit.

      Dont care for them at all. Loved it when ***** headed their maintenance division. Just got my March bill with a double charge for the insurance. Even I called about it the person on the line said that he couldnt explain it but someone higher would be calling me in 24 hours to explain the double charge. Im still waiting. The business side of Pivotal is just plain awful. The maintenance people are okay. Its the business part of Pivotal that lacks professionalism. Also had to get a second opinion on the work to be done because at first they didnt want to do the work. I have been a paying customer for maintenance previously under Nicor for years. Pivotal is the problem.

      We have had two instances when we needed service for our furnace. The first time our 96 year old parent resided with us. It took 3 days for one of their service providers to come out to us. The more recent time, we were told to find our own provider. You are better off finding a reliable local service provider rather than trying to work through this very difficult and unreliable service process. To top things off, when you cancel it is not effective until the end of their billing cycle so you pay for service you do not want.
