      Too bad there's not a zero rating. I'd sure like to use it. We had a tech out in AUGUST who assisted with ordering the gas tank for our Craftsman mower. We paid that fee plus the A&E fees. Finally in October we got the part, called to schedule the repair and were told the next date would be in February 2024. That day it was 20 degrees and snowing so we rescheduled for the tech's comfort. Consequently, we have sat here for the next FOUR Fridays only to have our appointment canceled at 4:45. We will never again buy a Craftsman product or any other product using A&E for services.

      Horrible customer service. Was assigned Technician canceled on my dryer repair and rescheduled for 7 days later. I should be the *********** and someone else should be rescheduled!!! This is the second time A&E has done this to me. And since they give me an 8 hour window (between 8-5) I have to take a whole day off from work to wait for the technician. Now that they rescheduled I need to take another day off from work. I do not get reimbursed for taking days off. Customer service is horrible. Problem not resolved A&E had no solution American Home Shield could not send out another company so I'm stuck with A&E.I will refuse service from A&E if my warranty company assigns it to my next work order request.

      Absolutely unethical. Worst business ethics....A local appliance repair shop told my mom over the phone that they would diagnose and fix her gas stove for $139. Yes, the service said "and fix the stove" . They farmed the job out to A&E as far as I can tell. Probably intentionally. We already had diagnosed the issue was the gas oven igniter and that was communicated with the initial call. The service tech showed up and diagnosed the stove as I had already done. Then he wanted a payment for either the $139 for his diagnosis or $430 for the diagnosis and repair. He claimed the receptionist was wrong. He also mentioned they had to order the part from Amazon. A&E apparently cannot be contacted directly, only over the web or through a appliance storefront.. They are not a customer friendly company. I just ordered the part myself from Amazon. Just under $30. It takes 2 s**** to open the panel on the bottom of the oven, and two screws to secure the part. It tool me under 10 minutes. $430 for the part and 10 minutes time is a rip-off. By the way, the igniter is one of the most common igniters used on gas stoves. In the old days, the repairman would likely have such a part in his truck, done the job quickly and been reasonable on ************** learned. Don't make the same mistake. Fort Collins, ********

      A "technician" had me on the phone for over an hour troubleshooting our washing machine and ordered parts. The parts were delivered in a week but it took two months for someone to come to the house. The parts ordered were not what was needed to repair the machine so more parts have been ordered and it's going to be another month and a half before someone will be able to come back to make the repairs. The technician had the representative on speakerphone and we heard the whole ugly truth. The inside of the machine is rusted, rep said that it wasn't covered and because of that the machine wouldn't be replaced even though replacement was a cheaper option and would have taken far less time.

      GE used them to do a warranty repair on my new dishwasher. Never got a call for an appointment - they just picked one without asking. It was bad for me that next day since you need to be there ALL DAY from 8-5 so I called the number to change the day from Friday to Monday. All the phone numbers I called lead to an automated system that didn't allow me to do anything except cancel the service. No customer representative option. No way to reschedule. I then call GE who said they can't do anything - they had the same phone numbers. Terrible company to try and work with.

      Scheduled service for a washer for 2/12/24, got an email day of around 8am saying the tech was on their way. Around 11 received another email confirming our appointment for for 12:15 to 1:45. Nothing until 8pm got another email saying we had been rescheduled for 2/19/24... Impossible to actually reach A&E and attempts to work with the warranty company were useless, they claimed to have call A&E and A&E said no one was home which was a bold face lie and I have cameras to prove it. I've been fighting for hour on the phone trying to reach someone to escalate my service which has been fruitless they keep telling me they have no other providers and A&E cant before 2/19. I'm giving up on them and going to Lowes to try to get them to make things right by either getting me a repair immediately or replace the washer altogether.

      Both ************** and ******************** Order Parts Spin Basket, Washer, Block. No showed when I received all my parts on January 29, ****. I was told by ***** that they scheduled an appointment to come out 1/30/24, that parts would be in by that appointment, which they were. The company rescheduled without my authorization to February 7, ****. No showed again with texts to my phone that they would be at my house 10:46 am., by 5:00 p.m., that tech was taking a shower and would be there "delayed" at 6:52 p.m. Still no showed and the company automatically rescheduled me to 2/15/23 without my authorization and claim that they cannot reschedule this appointment sooner. At this time, due to unprofessional, lack of integrity, and lack of efficiency, with a knowledge of parts and skills, am intending to have schedule this date 2/8/24 for them to pick up their parts, personally, which I am told by ******* of the company, that she will arrange the tech to pick up "personally" rather than mail back. "We are assigning a new company, that they have had a lot of complaints (according to case manager with ************ Plan) (my home warranty). And the sooner the better!

      I have been trying to get my fridge fixed for over a year. The compressor is bad according to the tech man. First time they came out charged ***** fee told me to t call for a APN to get compressor ordered. So I called ** got Ap number for them they never ordered part a year later I call again now they tell me after another 99. Fee I need a letter of authorization. So I call ** they tell me they send it to technician. Part still not ordered. Now A & E tell me again a tech man has to come out again for a 3 time to order the part and I have to get the letter of authorization and give to tech when he arrives. This has been over a year trying to get fridge fixed. I don't understand you pay ******* for a fridge and is just sits there not working. A & E has done nothing but charge service calls. Never use them for any repair work. They are now called ***** home repair. I am so angry.

      Tell me how to give a negative star rating. Tech came to my house to fix my dishwasher. Said he wasn't going to pull the dishwasher out, so said there was no visible leak. Have another vendor doing the repair. Call me this morning and confirmed they would be at my house at noon to repair my refrigerator. When they found out that it was a built-in, they canceled the work order by text and logged it in the system that i refused service. How do you stay in business with service like this. American Home Shield, shame on you for being associated with this type of company.

      Absolutely terrible service!!! I cant get a human on the phone!! I have the new ice maker here at my house. They shipped it 3 weeks ago and no one will install it!!!!! I keep calling and calling and I get no where with these people!!!! I have never had a problem as much as this when it comes to service. They do not answer the phone and the one person I did talk to was useless. He just kept telling me how he was working remotely and couldn't help me schedule a service call!!!! Absolutely ridiculous company!!!
