    legacy.com is part of what I think can only be described as a SCAM!Under an obit, legacy.com added a very large area for people to donate in memory of the deceased. This money goes to a company called Pledgeling.com which will then at their leisure distribute money to the intended charity. BUT THERE ARE PROBLEMS. People who donated $1,000 was charge $150 in "fees" (called tips on their site), then the charity only gets $970, i.e. the combination of legacy.com and pledgeling.com shaved almost 20% of a donation that was intended for a charity. In this case I see it as stealing from the donors AND the charity. The two companies deserve ZERO starts on BBB.

This tip is optional and covers upkeep and administration costs for the Pledge donation platform. The tip is separate from the amount donated to the charity and should not be taken from that.     I also view Legacy.com as a SCAM! I placed a direct and clearly written message with the family name. I personally paid for the order, yet they simply posted that the tree was from me. THIS WAS INCORRECT AND AFTER SPEAKING TO A PERSON NAME **********, THIS MATTER HAS NOT BEEN CORRECTED. PLEASE AVOID LEGACY.COM!

    Called legacy to get more info about my flowers that was delivered. The man was rude and demanded the item number which I didn't have at the moment. He didn't ask for my name or anything to look it up and he just hung up on me! I called again and same man answered and he never apologized. **************** needs to be professional and sympathetic in this line of work. We are grieving a death.

    After four requests to take down a derogatory statement on a memory page , nothing has has been done.In keeping with rules and regulations of Legacys site, A disgruntled family family member chose to put nasty comments, about another member, and write what they thought the deceased would think about it. ON A TRIBUTE page. Total misuse of tributes, and drawing attention to themselves, and unresolved conflicts. Pages MUST BE MONITORED. Please protect those you love who have passed., and dont allow the living to denigrate their memory .

    We ordered flowers for $113. The bill was $208. They charged us $161 for the flowers, delivery fee and a $9 sympathy card. Total rip-off. Use a local florist. Never again!

    Legacy.com is a scam! I ordered flowers for a funeral on 4-21-23 and was emailed that they were unable to deliver and to give an alternate address which I did. Then today I get the same email about being unable to deliver the flowers. I asked for it to be delivered tomorrow but I am sure they won't after reading these other poor people's reviews. Legacy.com is a sick company taking advantage of the mourning.

    I wish I would have read these reviews before feeing humiliated I felt seeing how CHEAP the flower arrangement was for a wake we went to yesterday (4/12/23). The cost was $185. What a joke!!! This arrangement was sent to *********** Funeral Home in ********* ********. I actually clicked on the link in their page which brought me to this page. I will also be contacting them. The wake was for *************************** (4/12/23) at *********** Funeral Home in ********* **. I'd of rather ordered nothing than to look like I spent $25 for this arrangement. I agree with the last review. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!

    They cremated our son in Delaware back in February and we have been trying to get his remains for 2 months They will not call us back but they charged our credit card DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE !!!! They talk good but their actions are HORRIBLE
