A group of us ordered flowers for our friend/colleagues fathers funeral. I used Legacy.Com, because their link was on the obituary! I had to call in the order, because delivery options only listed the current month. On the date of the funeral I recieved an email stating the order could not be delivered. SAY WHAT!? So I called. Youre the florist link on his obituary and his service is today at ******* Largest Funeral Place! How is it possible, you cant deliver to Temple of The Valley? And you waited until today to notify us? So, I wasted two hours trying to resolve this issue! We can deliver the arrangement between 11:00am and 7:00pm to an alternate address. Where would you like to send your flowers? So, next, I realize, no one will be home, because theyll be at their fathers visitsion, funeral and burial during the 8 hour delivery window. Next, instead of being allowed to file a complaint, every forwarded call was greeted by a party line, Im sorry, would you like to use a different delivery address? LEGACY.COM can obviously advertise and take your money, but they cannot deliver! I recommend calling a ************** florist directly for any flower purchase! Using a .com is as impersonal and unreliable as it gets. Not only are we left unsatisfied, I doubt our flowers will ever be delivered! LEGACY.COM is a cold hearted monopoly that could care less. Look at the reviews! No! Look at the unpaid reviews! Nearly everyone of them had the same, frustrating experience of undeliverable flower orders! Sadly, a funeral only happens once. And the best LEGACY.COM can do is, Im sorry, would you like to use an alternate address? We cant locate the largest, most famous funeral service in ******. And this review is posted in a faraway place, where hardly anyone will ever see it. So, no lessons taught, no imprivements made. DONT USE LEGACY.COM! Its a MONOPOLY SCAM!Legacy.com

As with the prior satisfied customer, I used ********************** solely for posting/ publishing an obituary and not for further purchases. The online system was relatively easy to use- although the ability to upload a prewritten computer document would have made it even easier. When I did need help, **** at customer support was patient, professional and kind and the issue of a post- publication error was immediately resolved. I never quite believe the leave a message and well call you back but thats exactly what happened. Response was fast and effective. Thank you.Legacy.com

I ordered a $200 spray on Friday the 3rd of February. Monday (the day of my friends funeral) I received a call indicating they could not deliver them, so I cancelled the order. I was sent confirmation that my refund would be in **** business days. I called back 2 more times and still no refund. It's been 12 business days since cancelation. I filed a complaint on the BBB as well as contacting an attorney.Legacy.com

Ordered flowers on 1/20, requested delivery 1/27 for services on 1/28 for employee family member. Spoke with employee on 2/20 asked the employee about flowers and they never received them. Called FTD and was told there was no delivery receipt. We were charged on 1/20 and no notification was sent. I requested refund and waiting for credit. Poor customer service and embarrassing to have to ask employee if they were delivered.Legacy.com

Our records indicate that this customer purchased 2 obituaries on our site on 1/28/23, one at 9:16 am and one at 9:29 am. When he realized that he had duplicated the order he called our customer service team on 1/30/23. Our team member **** spoke with the customer on the phone and immediately cancelled one order and refunded it in full for $103.95.Review fromPat T

My experience with Legacy was great. I only used the Legacy obituary service not extending to newspapers. It took a bit to understand how to use and access the obituary I was writing but calmness paid off. They have a very helpful customer service phone line where all of my questions were answered in a thoughtful complete manner. I look forward to knowing when a music will be added to this site. I saved a lot of heartache by first creating the obituary on my phone and a computer then cut and pasted to website. I found editing then easier as I finished the process. The one thing I wish I would have known as a friend creating this obituary was a list of needed information Legacy needs to easily fill out the order. For example the name of the place who held the deceased. The other thing is to add a space for the church or place of Celebration phone number and website. Saves grieving people the need to search for that information. I did not buy any products like flowers or trees therefore this review deals solely with creating the message on this site.Legacy.com

DO NOT USE LEGACY.COM! I ordered flowers on a Friday morning for a Monday funeral through Legacy.com because it was linked to the obituary. After a series of emails over the weekend including "order confirmed", "item unavailable", "order resolved", "order canceled" and multiple phone calls, NO FLOWERS WERE DELIVERED TO THE FUNERAL. The phone number on the order confirmation doesn't work and has a message saying "we are having technical difficulties" before getting disconnected. I was finally able to speak to a manager at FTD Monday morning and will get a refund, but our attempt to let the grieving family know we cared by sending flowers was completely thwarted by a company that feels like a scam!Legacy.com

We are sorry to hear that the customer had difficulties with our vendor.We checked in with the vendor and they were unfortunately unable to secure a florist in time for the service despite attempts to get one in the area. The customer called in and spoke with an agent on the morning of 1/9. A full refund was posted for the order and our vendor also offered a complimentary home delivery in addition to the refund, but the customer stated they had set up alternate arrangements. I submitted my obituary in time to run Saturday-Monday. On Friday evening I get a call that they cannot run it due to system issues. They supposedly will run it the following weekend. I am not holding my breath. For this $800+ obituary, I used a debit card I had not used in almost a year. Now today (3 days later), there are multiple fraudulent charges on my account and I have to block my card. Either stealing numbers is part of their scam or they have a data breach. Hello,We did experience a brief technical issue with our e-mail program that caused a delay in the publication, and we regret any inconvenience. We called the customer as soon as we became aware of the delay, and The Orange County Register confirmed that the obituary will run on 12/23, 12/24, and 12/25. We also confirmed we only placed a single charge on this customer's card on 12/15. We do not have any reason to believe our site has been compromised, however, we will reach out directly to collect more information from the customer to be certain.Legacy.com

Legacy.com has made a terrible situation even more terrible. They scan for legitimate obituaries and their software creates one on the Legacy web site. The one they published for my family member had the wrong town and wrong college and nothing else. But what is even worse, is that they indicated that the family's wish was to plant a tree in honor of the deceased. This was not our wish. On top of that, we can't even find out who decided to plant a tree. I have no way of thanking people. Legacy gets a referral fee from the tree company and makes money off this painful situation. This is a scam. Ordering flowers on the Legacy.com site resulted in emails that stated they could not provide the arrangement that was offered on their site. Then 2 hours before the service received an email that they could not deliver on time. Asked them to deliver to the home that day and later found out they could not. Called customer service who said they would contact a local florist to make and send something the next day. It should have been made already!!!I cancelled the order after interminable hold on the phone. Told them I thought this was a scam and they immediately hung up. Wish I had researched this before ordering from Legacy.com and Teleflora.Legacy.com
