1 starHorrible service. Never order from this company again. Flowers were delivered two hours after the service was over. They had ALL needed info. For this service as I ordered right from the obit website that took me to their link to order flowers. Plus I provided the info. On their site. Date, time, address. etc. its like ordering flowers for a wedding and they deliver after the wedding is over. I called to cancel the order once I was told by a family member that the flowers didnt make it before the service and was told order would be canceled. Two hours later I get an email from Legacy telling me the order is out for delivery, 15 mins. later another email telling me order was just delivered. TWO HOURS after the funeral service was already over! I had to dispute the credit card charges with my credit card company.Review fromCatherine B

Placed my order for flowers and a card the day before the funeral. Had an option for same day delivery and choose that so everything would be at the funeral home when the family arrived. They charged me extra for same day delivery. So far so good. The day of the funeral I was told that my order had been cancelled. By the time I received the notice the funeral was over. To add insult to injury they did not refund me fully.Legacy.com

1 starRefused to publish my comments on my fathers obituary page because they might hurt the families feelings (mine dont matter to legacy!) I mentioned in the comment we were all told we were going to h*** if we didnt go to church during the funeral. A family member placed an obituary with our local newspaper and was forced to also place one on legacy.com or they wont complete your order. We had asked for no flowers and no donations and we had to call legacy THREE times to remove donation and flower requests. First for a tree, then flowers, then a $ donation. This seems like nothing but a money grabbing opportunity for legacy. They keep adding things to the very bottom of the obit like they are hoping no one will notice until it is too late. 5 days before the funeral, I ordered a sympathy plant from the obituary link. Seemed to be coming from ***, so I thought it would come from a local florist. Immediately got an email that they didn't have that one in stock, and I opted for a replacement. Then I got a shipping notification ****** They are shipping a live rose plant- in December- from IL to **. Now, it will be a day late even- and too late- as the "live rose" is now in **. Luckily, I was able to order another arrangement from a local florist for same-day delivery. I thought I was being efficient, ordering many days in advance, but it was a waste of time and money. 1 starI used Legacy for floral arrangements for my Aunt. The order was placed 3 days before the service and they gave us all kind of problems. They ended up cancelling my delivery with little to no explanation. They waited until the day of the service to tell me there were any problems so it was too late to make other arrangements. Seriously so heartbreaking and so unacceptable to not be able to trust my last way to honor a loved one. Please do not use this company. I know I never will again.Review fromAnita F

The website is misleading for ordering flowers. What they show is not necessarily what will be delivered. On October 28, 2024 I ordered what was advertised as a lush spray of lilies and roses and received a very skimpy spray of daisies, wilted roses and wilted chrysanthemums.They can do better with the amount of money charged. I would love to provide a photo but apparently not allowed.I have a side by side of what was shown and ordered and the actual one received and your eyes can tell the whole story. They have lost me as a customer but not without embarrassing me with their cheap skimpy floral delivery.Legacy.com

Ordered flowers thru Legacy.com, received a telephone call one day before the funeral that the flowers could not be delivered on time. The customer service refunded the money for the flowers but not the card ordered with it, saying they did not see the order. The e-mail conformation clearly shows the card was ordered at the same time. This company does not care about someones loss only the money they can make off of it.Legacy.com

I ordered flowers thru Legacy.com for a funeral I could not attend. ONE hour AFTER the funeral I receive an email that the item is unavailable but could be delivered up to 3 days later. TOO LATE. At first I wanted the flowers delivered to the house as an option . Legacy said I may see another charge on my account for this, but it would be removed right away. That didn't sound right so I said cancel the order. Legacy said a refund should post to my account. That is what I am waiting for at the present time. I have a feeling I will be creating a fraud ticket for the money but we will see...Legacy.com

Legacy forces an obituary post on your departed without contacting next of kin. Others find the *** near the top when they search the name of the deceased, conclude (falsely) it must be sanctioned by the family, and post remembrance messages. This gives legacy an unfair advantage against other obituary sites and makes it unlikely that next of kin will remove the site as the people posting would feel frustrated and confused. Legacy offers little web support: for example they will not support the posting of RSVP options for Memorial Events. They appear to be a platform for selling gifts etc, and if you are inconvenienced by their aggressive and negligent actions they simply tell you to accept it as-is or they can take it down. Their business practices should be investigated.Legacy.com
