I spoke with groupon re: refund to my original payment method. This is what I wrote to live chat ... I already canceled through the seller and they said go to groupon for refund. They offered to reimburse using credits, but I only used groupon for this one purchase (compounded semaglutide). I want to cancel now because after delving more into the company, they use a pharmacy that had many infractions. They said This can be refunded only within the first 3 days of purchase, but it does not say to whom????I actually cancelled this with the seller on 8/14 -- it was purchased on 8/11. the seller is not open on 8/13, a sunday.They told me to talk with groupon firstBusiness Response

Regarding your complaint: I can confirm that our system processed your refund successfully. You should have received an email confirmation shortly after this refund was issued. If you're not seeing it, I recommend checking your spam folder to make sure our emails aren't ending up there.
Refunds issued to a credit or debit card appear as a refund from Groupon, Inc. Please note that it can take your bank a few days to route the funds correctly and post them to your account. If it's been longer than 10 business days, you'll need to check with the claims department of your bank directly.

Date of Transaction: 8/12/23 Amount: $76.00 Business was supposed to have a discounted service on ATVs but I wasnt aware that I would have to pay additional fees not mentioned by Groupon as well as a fee because I used Groupon. The merchant also didnt have the dates available that I needed. I requested a refund because the voucher stated that it does not expire until December. Regarding your complaint: I reviewed your case details and apologize for any confusion with this.
The deal terms listed under the Fine Print do indicate that "Tax and fees are not included."
Additionally, I checked the booking website(*********************************) for this merchant and see that every single day throughout this year is available for booking. There are no dates that are completely sold out. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer a cancellation in this case as your purchase is still valid as originally advertised.

I have been trying to get a refund from Groupon on all ********* activities that has not been redeemed and also for one voucher that was redeemed and I never received my food for. I have constantly been ignored or either been brushed off without any issues being resolved.Business Response

Regarding your complaint: I reviewed your case details and see that the two purchases are for Go City - ********* Explorer Pass and ***********.
Your Go City - ********* Explorer Pass orders are outside the return window which was accepted at the time of purchase, and as such it cannot be cancelled.
Your *********** voucher has already been redeemed as of 08/10/2023. Used vouchers cannot be refunded.

Hello, I have had a horrendous time with ****************** related to a voucher that I was unable to use. I was informed of this at the consult but the ticket had been erroneously redeemed but the merchant, the issue comes in when the customer service agent I spoke to requested for me to contact the merchant and ask for confirmation that there were no service that were done with the groupon purchase. I provided this but then got pushback stating that I needed to request them to explicitly state that I need to ask them to say I am eligible for a refund. This means I contacted them multiple times with different requests at the direction of Groupon. After a few days I received this confirmation and provided it to Groupon they then stated that they can only offer Groupon bucks which is a credit, I will not be using Groupon again with all the hoops and changing requests to get one thing addressed. The fine print on the Groupon shows no other info, and I am eligible for a refund. Not a credit to a site I will not be using again.Business Response

I bought a Groupon for ******** ************ which expires Oct 17th. Since the Groupon is close to expiration I called the number on my Groupon & after many rings a message comes up saying Leave a message - then this mail box is full. The business address on my Groupon has a different telephone so I texted them & was told they do not do business with Groupon. I have contacted Groupon 3 times this week explaining I cant use the Groupon and asked them to put my $41.50 back into Groupon Bucks so I can buy something else. I have received 2 responses from 2 different people (***********************) and (******************) apologizing for the inconvenience but doing nothing about refunding my $41.50. I purchased a voucher through them for a deep tissue massage. Upon calling the merchant to use this voucher I discovered that the merchant didn't exist. After going through Groupon customer service repeatedly and being told I was going to get a refund through Groupon bucks they simply stopped replying to me and never refunded anything.Business Response

I purchased a Groupon on 06/01/2023 for $316 for snorkeling in Maui. We had a trip planned to Maui from 8/27-9/2 but unfortunately, it was cancelled due to a NATURAL DISASTER. **** caught on fire. Businesses burned down & people lost their homes. People DIED. I tried contacting Groupon for a refund as we had to cancel due to a natural disaster (we never redeemed the Groupon as I was waiting closer to our trip to book services). Groupon said it was out of the 3 day window for refunds. This was out of our control. IT WAS A NATURAL DISASTER. I have been unable to get anywhere through email or live chat. I have used Groupon throughout the years and this is the worst treatment Ive received. It was not intentional. It was a natural disaster. Im hoping to get a refund still.Business Response

I see that your voucher was still valid through 09/29/2023 to be used later, but our team has already made an exception and refunded your order to Groupon bucks. Since the refund request was submitted past our regular refund window, it was not eligible for any cancellation, but given the nature of this case, we made an exception as Groupon bucks.
It looks like you've used part of the credits to purchase new deals as well, so I hope this issue is considered resolved.

Groupon deleted my account without notice which has some credit left on it and when I contacted their customer care, I am being told that I deleted the account which is a blatant lie. I have emails on my email indicating my Groupon bucks used and unused.The refunded was for 60 dollars for me and they said these would never expire in 2021 email and would be available under my email ****************** .I don't have any email confirming account deletion. I did not delete account. They are cheating customers like me and a lot of accounts have been deleted without notice.as per some recent thread on Reddit, I want my money refunded and Groupon held liable for this fraudulent activity. The concert we got tickets for during Groupon moved to a farther location the day prior - very little warning. The original venue was outdoor - I would have never bought three if Id known it eas going to be a farther out indoor venue. They dont care and told me too bad.Business Response

I checked and see that the deal fine print as a restriction, "Final sale". In this case, we are unable to cancel and refund this Groupon.
However, I do understand the situation. In this case, I've issued $20 in Groupon Bucks to your account as a partial reufnd.
These Bucks are available immediately and never expire. You can check your balance any time from your [My Groupons](***************************************************************) page.
