      Bought island tour on ****** for March 2020, covid shut down world 7 days prior to departure. Groupon would not issue refund at that time, only extension, however we were unable to go again until March **** between world and other commitments. "Fine Print" says you never lose original funds used to purchase a Groupon. Fast forward to now, trying to use these funds for a different tour in ******, Groupon will not allow me to use the $199 originally spent for anywhere other than original vendor. That does not work for us as we have other plans for the island due to time constraints. We would like to use it on a different tour, different island, different vendor but it is still a tour.All I want is the ability to use the $199 anywhere I want the way the company claims or at a minimum insinuates.

      Regarding your complaint: I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to redeem the Groupon as planned. 
       
      I could see that this Groupon was traded for Groupon Bucks and the trade-in Bucks were used for the new purchase (Order # **********) on 01/17/2024.

      Hello, I am contacting you in regards to faulty tickets. I am from ********, and I had bought on Groupon tickets to SeaWorld, which is in *******. When I traveled to seaworld, 18 hours away the 4 for my family didnt work. I spent hours at customer service and they said its a 3rd party issue. I contacted Groupon multiple times that they sold unusable tickets. Everyone else in the partys tickets worked and they were able to enter on the same day no issues. My familys tickets didnt work. You can even see in the system that they were unopened/unused and continued to be until they expired on Jan 6th 2023. I had to purchase tickets hours later at gate price. I have been contacting Groupon left and right and they said it was final sale, nothing they could do. Groupon told me to contact seaworld, and I did. Seaworld told me that Groupon committed fraud, and that they told me to continue to pursue this issue to obtain my money for unusable tickets. That once they sell the tickets to Groupon that theyre not in the system.I just want my money back, after having to spend $374.84 and then double to just in enter the park. Groupon is refusing to communicate on the issue. I wouldve even taken Groupon bucks, which happen when the tickets expire. Which hasnt even happened.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      In the allotted time frame of 7 days to either reject or approve I had emailed the company with all the necessary documents and information needed per their request. I emailed on Monday the 5th, 7th and 10th. Just in case the company didnt receive my emails. I have not heard a response, and thus I have to respond with an unsatisfactory response. If the company would like to follow up on their emails, I have sent three.

      I purchased a Groupon for ************** back in November. I have called the company and left 3 messages and have also sent text messages in order to redeem this voucher. The issue I have is this is a ****** voucher and can not get a call from the company. There is no way to reach Groupon. You submit an email and they dont go thru I have now tried for 2 months to schedule an appointment and feel I have lost ******. This isnt a ***** restaurant gift card. Its a lot of money. If the business doesnt respond what kind of service will you get in return. They are still selling these Groupons and can only assume other consumers are losing hundreds of dollars as well I want a full refund on this

      My account was hacked on friday January 5th and someone from ***** tried to order a bunch of stuff on my account. My Discover card blocked it and I contacted Groupon support to make sure the orders were all cancelled on their end, one of the order numbers is #****-146971-239045. My account had now been completely removed. I had groupon bucks as well as a class that I purchased in my account and need to finish before it expires. I emailed customer service and I was told my issue would be passed on to an account specialist on Monday morning. I've emailed to check the status with no response. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. No 800 number to call and messages are ignored.

      I brought coupon from Groupon for oil change try to use at valvoline in December they refused to accept it

      Groupon made a mistake with scheduling an appointment and the business had to cancel my appointment. That business told me that groupon has to refund me and I haven't been able to contact them and haven't received any sort of refund.

      I can confirm that our system processed your refund successfully on 01/19/2024. You should have received an email confirmation shortly after this refund was issued. If you're not seeing it, I recommend checking your spam folder to make sure our emails aren't ending up there. Please note:
       
      Refunds issued to a credit or debit card appear as a refund from Groupon, Inc. Please note that it can take your bank a few days to route the funds correctly and post them to your account. If it's been longer than 10 business days, you'll need to check with the claims department of your bank directly.

      If your refund was processed to an alternative form of payment, such as Apple *********** Pay, or PayPal, and it's been longer than 10 business days since the refund was issued, please contact your payment processor to check on its status.

      Why am I paying $5 a month if you won't honor Groupon Select? **************** said that *********************************************************************************************************************** was already at the best price. I disagree with this statement. If this were true, why was I able to order ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ on order 1000-146936-654799 for $32.40 before my Select discount? I got it for $24.30. It's now $50 and I can't use select on that either. By your logic, I should have a deal on the $50 today. I just purchased *********************************************************************************************************************** on order 1000-146998-833840 for $32.40. I expect $8.10 put back on my account as ********************** bucks. If this isn't done, I will be reporting all transactions to my bank. This is wrong. Dont charge me for Select if you wont honor it.

      I purchased a voucher from Groupon for a oil change and within a few hours on that day I requested a refund, because I couldn't locate the voucher in time for the oil change. So I paid for it without the Groupon voucher. Since then I've been back and forth with them. There policy is no refund after 3 days. I request my refund just hours after I purchased the voucher. They refuse to give me my money back.

      Purchased 3 AAA memberships through Groupon. When I tried to complete the memberships I found that my area is not in the geographical area to be cashed in. I tried several times and when I could not cash in I contacted AAA per the Groupon website to find this out. I reached out to Groupon for a refund since the vouchers have not been used as the sale states it expires March **** (right in the area where you purchase the vouchers). I was told that they will only honor the the refund within 3 days (this you have to find out by searching the site for a refund). Yes I missed where it states specific zip codes, but mind you I searched by local deals under my zip code of ***** less than 30 miles. **** of the "acceptable zip codes" seem to fall under this. So it is definitely false advertisement.

      My Groupon account was hacked. The hackers spent $337.50 on a Groupon voucher on Jan 6, ****, 11:49AM (PST). I reached out to Groupon within minutes of the hacked purchase as I saw the confirmation email come through. Groupon was not reactive in stopping the Groupon voucher purchase or usage. Instead, they said they would escalate the issue and I would receive an email within 30 minutes (Jan 6, 12:05PM, PST). No email was received. I followed up on Sat, Jan 6, 3:23PM and was told they would "escalate it" and I would have an email within 24 hours. No email was received. Then today (January 11), I learned that Groupon did not stop or refund the hacked purchase, but rather issued a credit through Groupon Bucks. I checked, there was no credit on my Groupon Bucks which means they credited this to the hackers. When I told this to the Groupon email representative, they stated that they would "escalate it." I have been in constant chats with Groupon representatives who have not shared an email address or phone number to reach a live agent. Also, they all keep saying this has been escalated but no one has called or emailed me on the matter. We are now on day 4 with no resolution, no follow up contact, and no refund. The issue has worsen in that they credit the funds to either the hackers or the hackers have taken the Groupon Bucks. Either way, no one via chat, the only way to get someone, has provided me additional context despite my requesting it several times.
