Hi went in November of 2023 to see if i qualify as a donor for plasma at bio life in ******* ca. the girl who helped me had said they do not pull plasma from tattoos. I said ok and went about my way . I recently read on the website that they do in fact pull from tattoo area as long as its not a new tattoo. So I decided to go in today 4/17/24 . The center itself looks a little rough compared to the last time I was there . I could see other people private personal information on the screens and phones were out !! When it was my turn the vitals lady said scan in when ever. I explained it had been some moths and I didnt get to donate last time but I was checked in and dont remember the finger I used. She rolled her eyes and said why didnt I remember I apologized said its been since November. She needed help she could not apparently log into a system she needed to look me up none of the vital check in people could log in they had to use someone elses information to do it I know this because they were very loud about it. I the girl is having a hard time so she calls a supervisor who immediately takes me to a different spot does a vain check says let me get a nurse . Mind you two men came in full sleeved and they took them no problem. One girl says yes the other two say no they do not pull through a tattoo . I informed them it is very old and it was faded white ink. Then they call another lady who takes one look at me says no they are not allowed to . Today on April 16,2024 I went into BioLife to see what was wrong with my account ( it would not let me schedule an appointment) I went in and ended up speaking with a nurse. He told me that it was a tattoo that I had not disclosed (which had not been the case). I told him I came in that day and talked to a nurse then. They told me that it had been long enough since when I had gotten the tattoo to when I could donate again. So they PROCEEDED TO LET ME DONATE AND TOLD ME IT WAS OKAY SINCE IT HAD BEEN LONG ENOUGH. I come back today and he tells me that I can no longer donate to any BioLife because of that situation which I feel that I should not be punished for because their employees didnt do the math correctly. This is very unprofessional and I would like to speak to someone who knows what they are doing and can resolve this issue.Initial Complaint

Had an employee tell me they dont have time to properly clean their floors, therefore I cant place any items on the floor. One of their employees are lying to customers, or lying on federal paperwork.Initial Complaint

Staff at BioLife are ***** criminals. A couple of months ago I had words with a supervisor who disliked New Yorkers and tried to have me removed on false accusations made by her until one of her higher *** reviewed the cameras at my request finding her accusations against me false and overrode her call to have me removed. From that day onwards she has had her female friends who work there prevent me from obtaining money donating plasma making false claims like my iron is too low as they did today contradicting the results from my lumbar puncture and blood tests done by Nebraska Medicine. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the services provided by Biolife. Despite repeated attempts to address my concerns, I have encountered significant obstacles and negligence on the part of Biolife's management.First and foremost, Biolife has consistently failed to respond to my email inquiries regarding their services and the complications I experienced during my recent visit. As a customer, I expect timely and respectful communication, yet Biolife has demonstrated a complete disregard for my concerns.Furthermore, my recent experience at Biolife resulted in serious harm to my arm, for which I have received no explanation or compensation. This negligence has caused me undue pain and financial burden, further exacerbating my frustration with Biolife's lack of accountability and professionalism.It is clear to me that Biolife is poorly run, with inadequate support systems in place to address customer inquiries and negligence in ensuring the safety and well-being of its clients. On February 3, 2024, at Biolife at ************************************************************** I entered into a contract with Biolife to give 8 times which included a $250 bonus if completed all 8 times within 30 days. New donors must present the coupon prior to the initial donation. Donation fees will be paid in the following order $90, $100, $90, $90, $100, $90, $90 and $100. Initial donation must be completed by 2.17.24 and subsequent donations within 30 days. Coupon redeemable only upon completing successful donations. May not be combined with any other offer.Offer Code - 67078-2009 I went twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting 2/3/2024. On the 7th time, they claimed the needle didn't go in far enough and they stopped at 146. A paramedic that was there said that it was fine to use my other arm, but Biolife staff insisted it was their policy since the 146 count rounded up to 200 (made no sense to me or the paramedic) Unknown to me they cancelled my final appointment, NO email, no electronic update, nothing. I just found out when I checked my appt. When I called they claimed I couldn't give for a period of time past the 30 day period and therefore wasn't eligible for the final payment of $100 or the $250.00 bonus. They then implied I should be doing it for free anyways because it was saving lives. When I told them how many times I had donated blood in the past, they implied I was trying to get something for nothing. Both assumptions were completely false. I have not received anything in writing and they were unable to provide a date I could donate again.Initial Complaint

BioLife plasma Services advertises that you MUST donate at least 1-8 times in a single month to receive a total of $700. I have given on March 1st and 5th. After being able to schedule through the app my appointment and driving over 30 minutes to get to my appointment, I attempted to log into the kiosk, as regular procedure and was alerted of an error and to see an employee. It was ONLY THEN explained that the first two sample donated are sent to a lab for testing and the donator MUST wait 10 days until you know if youre able to continue donating. This was not included on the website, sign up process, app for the phone nor any of the constant emails they send. Waiting 10 days will put us at 3/18/2024 meaning donators will only have 13 days instead of 31, as promised via the signup process. This is extremely false advertisement and also scamming people out of their plasma. I also had 4 individuals donate plasma twice using my referral code but I was NOT given the $200 per referral per their website and app. There also NO WAY to see the terms and conditions before signing up. I was on the last 2 donations of the new donor promo. My most recent dono was on a Saturday. There was an issue and tthey ad to unhook me and defer me. That's fine. The problem is. I drove 30+ minutes TWICE trying to donate on Wed and Th. Only to be told my Iron was low. Both times. Funny, that has NEVER happened to me once in hundreds and hundreds of donotaions at OTHER places. So, I checked the app after the second deferral, and it said I was deferred until Saturday. So, why was I lied to? Twice? And to top it off the app said I had until the 21st to finish my last dono for a payment of $120. Thus completing the promotion. So I went that Saturday the 21st. Donated. Got home. I was paid $40. $40???!! Really? I TRIED to donate twice that week and wasn't allowed. After wasting HOURS of my time and $20 worth of gas going there twice for nothing. Then wasting hours of a good Saturday for $40. I won't be back. Very unprofessional behavior. And that's a shame cuz this WAS my favorite place to donate. Back to CSL it is.
