    I Booked a 2hour cleaning service with ******** *. and during the cleaning on her way down the step she tripped and created damages to the wall. Attached below is a video of the aftermath of the situation pictures of the damage.

    On approximately February 26, 2025, I went to the ************************** website to schedule movers. I opted for their new service "dolly by taskrabbit." I found the idea of paying a set rate instead of hourly very appealing. The site took me through questions & asked for a list of the big items. I created the list but was never given the option to list the number of boxes. I was given a quote of $786 for the service. On the day of the move, March 5, 2025, one guy showed up with a truck that was too small to move all the items on the list regardless of the boxes. His helper arrived 15 minutes late & they started working. On the list, I had included 2 queen size beds, a loft bed, and a bunk bed. They didn't bring the correct tools to disassemble the loft ******** couldn't be moved. Because of the condition of the bunkbed, we all agreed they would disassemble it but leave it for junk removal.They needed to make 3 trips to complete the transfer of all items. I did ask them to take an additional chair and 3-4 small items. At no time, did either person indicate that they would charge me extra. There were no notations on the site that informed me of an extra fee for the boxes. None of those items were heavy or large. Once the move was about 3/4 complete, one of the guys showed me his phone & indicated that he would charge me for the additional pieces. He wanted me to pay him directly but I wanted to go thru the app. I don't know what he inputted but it came back with an additional $250 for a total of $1045. Yes, I approved the charge but felt pressured to do so. I am a disabled senior & would have no way to move anything. I wasn't given a choice BEFORE they moved the additional items. Either on the website or during the move. I tried calling customer support. Their call center offered no options or recourse. These are shady business practices. **************

    Date of the transaction: 02/04/2025 The amount of money you paid the business: $114.20 What the business committed to provide you: TaskRabbit committed to providing a professional TV stand installation service. I hired a ******, paid for the service (including tips), and expected the job to be completed properly. However, the ****** failed to install the stand correctly after two visits, leaving it unstable and unsafe.I contacted the ****** directly within two weeks of their first visit to fix the issue, but the job was still not done properly. When I later reached out to TaskRabbit support, they refused a full refund, citing their 30-day policyeven though I was actively trying to resolve the issue from the start. Instead, they only issued a 50% credit, forcing me to pay out of pocket for a third attempt at a service I already paid for *********, the improperly installed TV stand poses a serious safety riskit could collapse, damaging my mounted TV, TV speaker, or even causing injury. TaskRabbit refuses to take responsibility, claiming taskers are independent contractors, yet they profit from every booking by taking a commission. If they benefit financially, they should also ensure service quality and fair resolutions for customers.I am requesting a full refund or full credit so I can hire a new ****** without additional costs. TaskRabbits 30-day policy is being used unfairly, as I took action within two weeks. I should not have to pay three times for a service that should have been done right the first time

    My first time using this service. My task rabbit (handyman) reschedule via email but not via the app. When I cancelled (an event we agreed to occur several days in the future), the platform charged me stating the job was already started. When I called to correct what was clearly a mistake and request a refund, customer service hung up on me. BEWARE OF TASK RABBITS!

    On Friday, 3/21, I booked a dolly for Saturday at 8:00 am. On Saturday, 3/22, at 7:30 am, I got a call saying that there were no movers available, so I had to cancel my service because I needed to move out by 8. I emailed support to receive my refund of $636. At first, I was told it would take ***** hours, which would be Sunday 3/23; then I was told it was 24 to 48 business hours, which would make Tuesday 3/25. I have still yet to receive my refund, and even calling support was not resolved. They are holding my money and haven't provided or given movers. Their customer service is out of the country and keeps telling me they're escalating this matter but yet I have no money back. I ended up having to pay more by booking another company to get movers on the same day.
