    On 9/1 I hired movers through Dolly by Taskrabbit. The total cost of the move was $269. The movers were very slow and requested the additional time be paid in cash. I noticed once they left they had broken my TV. On the taskrabbit website it says all moves are coved by insurance (no conditions appear in the statement). I contacted the company and they refused to cover any of the damages incurred. The damage amounts to around $300. The support ticket request is ********. I made a second request on the same email and they once again denied it and provided no recourse.

    I am filing an report of an incident that happened while utilizing the app Taskrabbit. I had a fraudulent meeting setup and ended up having my life put on the line by some random person pulling a gun. Today's date September 11 ********************************************************************************************************************************** money. I feel like they are not following their own policies and breaking legal agreements within their own terms and also need to review a HR compliance course for concern and conversation skills on extreme situations like this, that were possibly life and death. I don't know what information is needed in this situation but I have explained this already multiple times to cops and Taskrabbits support and whatever questions you may have I will answer them. I have their policies shown as well as my conversation report with Phoenix PD attached

    ****** came to fix plumbing situation. Left with the issue completely unresolved, in fact he caused a leak that wasnt there prior. Contacted taskrabbit for a refund and theyve issued me a $27 dollar credit (i paid $70 for this service). Id like a proper refund as i dont need this credit since ill never be using taskrabbit again.

    I paid for a cleaning with a taskrabbit contractor that never occurred. Upon filing a complaint with taskrabbit, I was denied a refund for this fraudulent charge and also never heard back from their support team after emailing multiple times.

    Hired a ****** to mount tv. They spent over an hour drilling and undrilling and making a ton of unnecessary holes in wall. Mounted it and its completely not centered and not straight. Taskrabbit is offering partial credit for NEXT task. Completely unacceptable.

    On August 28th I used the task rabbit platform to find assistance moving a heavy object in my home. The ****** said that he could not perform the task, so I cancelled immediately. The next day taskrabbit charged me twice and now refuses to refund the fees.

    TaskRabbit has a cancellation policy that they require you to agree to before connecting with a ******. The cancellation policy states if a task is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled service, you will be charged the hourly rate of ****** as well as TaskRabbit administrative fees. Before agreeing to the cancellation policy, you select a ****** based on their advertised rate. I am ok with this policy and accepted it based on the ******** advertised rate. AFTER agreeing to the policy based on the ******** rate, I was then able to chat directly with the ******. When doing so, the ****** gave me a rate/price that was much higher than his advertised rate which was more than I expected to pay and had it been the rate advertised, I would not have selected the ****** or agreed to the cancellation policy. As such, I cancelled the task and TaskRabbit charged me the hourly rate of the ****** and their additional fees. While they did offer a credit, I am requesting a refund because this is just bad business practices and I am not interested in using their services, ever. Taskers should be required to stick to their advertised rates or TaskRabbit should be more flexible with having the opportunity for the customer and ****** to connect to discuss the task and agree to a rate before requiring customers to agree to a cancellation policy that could cost them.

    In your cancellation policy, you do not make it clear that taskers are able to change their rate after booking. 

    thus is unfair and unethical to your customers. Its extremely unfortunate that you dont see this as a problem.

    I am rejecting this response because agreeing to the terms and familiarizing myself with the platform still does not negate that you all allow taskers to change their prices from the advertised rate. 

    My issue isnt the cancellation policy, and I dont understand why you all are unable to see the wrongdoing here and simply make this right. 

    This was my first (and last) experience with you all and I really hoped this would be a good thing. In this economy, for consumers to even take their hard earned money and consider your service, is something to consider. But your lack of customer service and empathy will ensure you all are short lived. 

    This is unfortunate and while Im sure we will not resolve this, I hope you at least update your policies to do better by the next customer.

    To Whom It May Concern,I am submitting a complaint against TaskRabbit for an unresolved service and unfair treatment.On August 6, 2025, I booked TaskRabbit (through ****) to assemble a wardrobe. Ive been charged $270.99 already, but the service remains incomplete. The ****** didnt properly assembled, damaged my ceiling during the attempt and left the wardrobe unfinished. Second ****** never came or responded.When I reached out for support:TaskRabbit opened a case but later cancelled it without resolving the issue. I spent over an hour on the phone with ***************** who reassured me that my case would remain openyet the very next day I received a cancellation notice.TaskRabbit continues to stall and send me long lists of requirements instead of fixing the original issue. now they keep sending new requests for information I have already provided, effectively delaying resolution instead of completing the task.Despite providing all requested details, photos, and explanations, I have received no clear answer on when my wardrobe will be fully assembled.There is significant damage caused during the incomplete assembly: scratches on the wardrobe, damage to the ceiling, and improper assembly by the first ******.I am unclear who is responsible for repairing the damages and for completing the wardrobe assembly correctly.I have paid partial amount already, but the service provided does not justify the charges: the wardrobe is incorrectly assembled, damaged, and the ceiling is affected.     I am rejecting this response because:
    I am not satisfied with TaskRabbits response. While they state the claim is under active investigation, in reality, there has been no resolution and no clear communication regarding responsibility or next steps.


    I have already provided more than sufficient documentation and evidence, yet TaskRabbit continues to delay by repeatedly asking for additional materials. Meanwhile:


    My wardrobe remains unfinished and unusable.
    The task was canceled without my permission, yet it shows as completed on the platform.
    One of the frames has a visible scratch on the front side.
    My ceiling was damaged during the attempted assembly.
    The first part that was assembled was done unprofessionally and requires rework.
    I have received no clear answers about who is responsible, when the wardrobe will be properly completed, or what compensation will be offered for the damage and inconvenience.




    Instead of resolution, I am left with boxes piled in my bedroom, a damaged ceiling, a scratched piece of furniture, and no functioning wardrobe, despite paying for more than half of the service.


    This experience has been extremely frustrating and far from the quality and reliability TaskRabbit promises. I expect a proper resolution including completion of the assembly and/or fair compensation rather than continued delays and bureaucracy.

Recently, TaskRabbit permanently paused my account due to two alleged violations that were not related to poor performance:Job with customer *******: We agreed on a ****** charge to mount 2 TVs (confirmed in TaskRabbit chat). After completion, the customer disputed the price. ********************** did not review the chat evidence before issuing a violation.Parking fee charge: I charged a $7 parking fee, which the customer approved. At that time, *********************** policy did not prohibit parking charges. TaskRabbit only issued new rules regarding extra charges after this incident.Other Taskers who had similar situations (including prior violations) received only a warning. I, however, was permanently removed from the platform.I believe this decision was:Unfair: No review of evidence that supported my case.Customer ****** B didnt even complain about $7 for parking charge which. Its important to know that although our Terms of Service (**********************************************************) state that Taskers are independent contractors, multiple breaches of our ToS can lead to the Taskers profile being limited or deactivated altogether. In checking on this user's emails with the company, we've confirmed that our Support Team has been in regular communication to lay out the parts of our ToS that have been violated.

    I hired a mover to assist with moving some furniture, on June 16, 25, he was solo and saw my task and requested if he could have his uninsured wife come and assist, I granted him permission so we could finish the task at hand. They completed the move and I tipped them cash and my card was charged $95.30. A couple days later I noticed that the door jams are damaged and I submitted a ticket per the website requested, #********, with photos. I received an email indicating the damaged complaint was received and I would hear back from someone 1-2 days later. Today is August 8th and I yet to hear back from this company with a resolution! I have sent several emails requesting an update, only to have no response. I would like the damages repaired at no cost to me and a FULL refund of the services.

    I am rejecting this response because I followed the proper process outlined on the website, despite how difficult it was to submit a complaint.  The attached photos and email string clearly show the TaskRabbit did not respond or provide guidance on next steps to repair the damage.  If customer service truly mattered as they stated, I would expect they would have responded or reached out to me in a timely matter.  Instead, I have heard nothing. Their claim that I failed to follow protocol or provide information is blatantly false.

    I am rejecting this response because: Thank you for the acknowledgement, yet I do not see a resolution or have been contacted by TaskRabbit, how is this acceptable? If customer service is indeed a core value for TaskRabbit. I would expect timely and proactive communication or direct outreach.  Instead, I have still received no response whatsoever from TaskRabbit. I request that this matter be reviewed promptly and that I be provided with a clear resolution, including immediate steps for repair and any credits that will be generated back to me.
