4 starsI have been using MyTAXPrepOffice for several years. I am happy with the software. It is user-friendly and easy to navigate. If I encounter any bumps, the customer service chat and live are extremely helpful in troubleshooting any issues. I highly recommend this tax software.

1 starTHIS SOFTWARE IS TRASH AND DANGEROUS TO HAVE ON THE MARKET!!!!
EVERY SINGLE RETURN I HAVE WORKED ON WITHIN YOUR SOFTWARE HAS AT LEAST ONE SUPPORT TICKET ATTACHED TO IT.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT IT WILL COST YOUR CLIENTS THOUSANDS AND EVEN CAUSE THEM TO GET NOTICES (THERE WAS 3 OTHER YEARS THAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED TO ALLOW THE CREDIT TO PROPERLY FLOW AS WELL!!!)
THIS RETURN IN PARTICULAR IS CURRENTLY COSTING MY CLIENTS $1274!!!!!
I HAVE IGNORANTLY USED THIS SOFTWARE FOR YEARS, BUT UPON FURTHERING MY EDUCATION I REALIZED HOW DANGEROUS THIS SOFTWARE IS AND IT SHOULD NOT BE ON THE MARKET.
DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY AS THEY WILL USE IT TO DEVELOP THEIR SUBPAR INCOMPLETE SOFTWARE.
SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND PURCHASE PROFESSIOBAL GRADE SOFTWARE !!!!MyTAXPrepOffice

Due to the age of this return, it is not e-fileable. Our Customer Support department immediately recommended that the tax preparer do a simple override of the field to complete the return which could then be printed and paper filed. We pride ourselves on quick turnaround of software updates for more current tax years, but this change took a bit longer because of the age of the return.D. S.

E-filing has absolutely NOTHING to do with the issue at hand, so I'm not sure why you are even mentioning this ?!!! Why should I have to CONTINOUSLY override items in the software?!! AGAIN, if I have to MANUALLY calculate everything, that literally defeats the purpose of the software! I could have just done the return with a pencil and paper if I have to consistently override everything.
And I can careless what year the compliant is for, THE PRODUCT SHOULD WORK indefinitely!!! I have support tickets for almost every single return, for every single year that I purchased your software.
Like I said, stand clear of this software if you want to prepare accurate and compliant tax returns. Also stand clear if you intend to pay full price for their product, but still have to wait for them to develop the software. Lastly, stand clear if you do not want your clients to receive notices/letters from the IRS and state taxing agencies. Too funny, their support section literally has a "IRS/State Notice" section, in case your clients have received a notice from the agencies. LOL
Start a 501c3 if you're trying to raise money for your company, don't rip off consumers!!!!!

5 starsI have changed my tax software every year for the past several years. I finally thought I had found the best one. I won’t name names but didn’t think I could do better. Their rankings were near the top if not at the top every year. Then I got a call from a young lady named Amber who asked me to try another tax software. I patiently explained that I was quite pleased with the one I had. I secretly hoped that their diagnostic was less cumbersome though and their portal worked as promised. Their customer service was absolutely tops though. For some reason I tried the new software, however, and to my surprise it surpassed the one I had in every area. It's intuitive, the diagnostic is a breeze, conversions were a breeze, the portal worked as promised. Customer service is as good. I am blown away by MyTaxPrepOffice.MyTAXPrepOffice

5 starsI was very hesitant to change software providers, yet fed up with the increasingly high prices that large commercial brand companies make off of small businesses. It literally frightened me that I had actually begun the process, but fast forward 4 months later I am so very glad that I did. In fact, I am definitely a returning customer who appreciates fair pricing along with a well-developed product. While I initially experienced a few kinks starting out, I later found out that most of my mistakes were a result of user error as I learned quickly how to navigate within the software platform.
