I only found out I was in collection with this agency because of my credit score. They never reached out to me or send me a bill. Ever since I was put in collection, I have received millions of solicitations from all sorts of company, making me realize, they have sold my information. The credit card I had on file got hacked and had to be cancelled.

Sequium has contacted me 2-times over the past months via text messaging from phone number ************ concerning money owed to *******. Even though it has been many years since I had a ******* account, I called ********************** at ************ rather than responding to "******************************" as requested. The customer *** would not give me any information on the alleged money owed to ******* without what seemed to be an attempt to build a file with certain requested personal information. In their message, they provided account number ******** which the *** refused to acknowledge. He insisted that I give him my personal information. I refused so he informed me that a collection letter may have already been sent to my address since I had received the text. I said I would wait for the letter. He informed that there would be a required time for my response. With that, I ended the ******* far, no collection letter has been received. So my concern is that this may be an attempted scam and possibly attempted extorsion. If something is owed to ******* from many years ago, then I request that Sequium extend that information from the account number provided to me. I am willing to give one minor response as to my ID. Depending on their response, then I have the option to file a complaint against Sequium with the ************************************ (****).******* A Alt
