    They called and stated I owed for a checking account at ************* They offered a settlement offer. I did not give any info or banking info. I called back a week later and they said they did not have my account that it was sent back to ************* however, 4 days later, someone started calling me from there again.

    For the past several weeks I have been receiving a phone call from ************ (***********, **). This number typically calls 2-3 times a day and does not leave a voicemail, ever. When I try to answer, it is silent until someone picks up and immediately hangs up. I tried calling the number back, and it is an automated response from your business saying they are attempting to collect a debt. After checking my credit report, I have no outstanding debts listed. I believe that this is a scam, but I wanted to make the business, the BBB, and others aware. Thank you.

    Sequium Asset Solutions has called me for months about a debt that does not exist. I have confirmed on several occasions with the company they say I owed money to ********* that I do not have any outstanding debt with them now or at ANY point in the past. Sequium employees demand that I verify all my personal information before they will tell me anything about why they are calling. They want me to confirm my name, address, date of birth, SS#, etc which I won't do. When you won't confirm your personal info and / or if you ask them any questions whatsoever, they just hang up on you and call you a week later. The way this company interacts with you, it makes me fairly certain it's a scam to begin with. Very, very ****** organziation... I would love to provide supporting documentation, but I can't because there isn't any, they just call and call and call. The last number they called from was ************ but it changes every time they call.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I would however recommend that they change many of their practices around contacting individuals they are trying to collect debts from.  Asking people for all of their personal information before telling them what the call is about is EXTREMELY SHADY and a red flag for anyone who pays the slightest bit of attention to how identity theft occurs.

    Got a call this morning from an agent who didnt identify himself or his company looking for a friend of mine. He then got defensive when I asked why he was calling me about this person, saying he was just asking if I had contact info for the person in question. When I said I wouldnt give that information to a stranger, he hung up on me. On calling back, I got a recorded message about some$300 debt that Ive never heard of. When I finally got a supervisor on the phone, he told me there was a process to identification. When he said nothing further, I told him that I want to be contacted again.I dont owe them money, I dont know who they are or why theres this BS debt connected to my number, I want an explanation, acknowledgment from the company that I dont owe this money, adjustment to my credit report if necessary, and if I ever hear from Sequium again I will contact a lawyer.

    Recently, within this past month, I have had an influx of telephone calls from this business.I am requesting this to STOP, for my phone number to be REMOVED from their list/database, and for their harassment to STOP. I believe this to be a scam and/or a mistake, as I do not have any outstanding debts or account issues. The phone number this business continues to contact me at is the phone number I have provided for myself to the BBB.

    A couple of months ago I received correspondence from Sequium Asset Solutions regarding a debt that doesn't belong to me. I sent Sequium Asset Solutions a sworn affidavit via mail validating and supporting my claim. Currently, Sequium Asset Solutions continues to violate the ***** and FCRA laws by reporting and violating HIPPA regulation laws regarding the collection of Medical Debt and attempting to collect on debt for fraud victims. This clearly has caused and financial burden by causing premature credit denials.

Sequium Asset Solutions, LLC is a collection agency representing AT&T U-Verse in association with a collection claim on original account number ending in *****. As required by the ****** on August 5, 2022, Sequium sent to the address on file the initial demand letter advising you of your rights under the ****** The ***** permits debt collectors to communicate with consumers in an attempt to collect a debt. This is in accordance with the Regulation F requirements. As such, Sequium Asset Solutions, LLC has not violated the requirements set forth in the ****** We had not received any prior disputes on the matter. However based upon receipt of your complaint here, your account has been placed on a dispute status. Sequium will provide you with validation of this debt, during this time collection activity will cease providing you time to receive and review the validation of the debt.

    This company started sending me nonstop emails about some phone bill I got put into collections for, I was unable to take care of the debt during the time they were emailing me as I was recovering from being hit by a car. I emailed them, called them, etc and they failed to have any correspondence with me, which is highly unprofessional. They kept emailing me with settlement offers, etc...again...my back is broken in 3 places and I have a severe head injury. Once I was able to get back to work, I attempted to email them again with no response, calls wouldn't go through, and I was forced to pay on their web portal while unable to speak to anyone about the validity of the debt.I am absolutely infuriated by the complete lack of customer service or just basic human regard for someone's finances and I WANT THIS OFF ALL MY CREDIT REPORTS.

    I was pressured by this company to pay a bill of $511.17 from *************** Systems I was told I would have lawyers Court and possibly a lien on my house if I did not pay this so I did on my US Bank credit card turns out ****** did not charge me this amount this is a ******************* I would like it resolved

After review of the calls for your account, I have found no evidence that any laws were violated . The agent advised you of the reason for the balance and offered you a settlement offer, in which the offer was accepted and paid. There was never a mention of lawyers, court, or any house liens.
