Company has been paid for a collection amount of $1416 that they keep reporting on my equifax credit report they have been contacted several times by nyself and my insurance company and always say they will remove it but never do. When returning calls they have been rude to me and my insurance provider Meritain Health and have hung up upon trying to resolve the problem. These companies should not be allowed to report false debt without some repercussions. They were paid on August 18 of this year and have been steadily contactedvwith no results.Business Response

On October 12th we received a call from the consumer who requested that we delete the credit reporting due to the insurance paying the claim. The deletion occurred on 10/13/23 after we verified the payment. We have placed the account on hold while we requested the original creditor to submit the payment to us. There will be a patient portion of $100.77 on the account in question and another visit with a balance of $60.97.

ARC Management Group, LLC wishes to make it abundantly clear that the consumer is severely misinformed. It is important to emphasize that the consumer does not require a contract with this office to fulfill its duties on behalf of a client. The consumer received services from our client, COWETA EMERGENCY GROUP LLC, at PIEDMONT ****** HOSPITAL on 08-14-22. Despite our best efforts, including numerous diligent attempts to contact the consumer via text messages, phone calls, and letters, all such attempts proved unsuccessful. Our system notes indicate that no request for documentation was ever received. This lack of communication has persisted since the placement of the account on ********. Good Afternoon,I am writing this email to file a formal complaint and to get a refund for $23.80 from ARC Management Group. I have paid my bill in full, as one of my attachments (ARC.pdf) shows on the receipt. The second attachment is my HSA account, showing that they double charged me for $23.80, when I should have only been charged once for that amount. I have attempted no less than 3 times over several weeks to try and get a refund. I get transferred to a manager, ***************************** (sp?) by her subordinate ************************* (sp?) ext. ****, who I never can get a hold of and have had to leave voicemails. I have left two voicemails and have yet to receive a call back or resolution of my issue from the manager. ***** says he emails me receipts of the payments I've made, but I have never received one email from them. Every time I call, no matter who I actually talk with in the company is extremely rude as well, unresponsive and transfers you immediately to someone else. No one seems to want to help me out. I have been told I will get a refund multiple times now by ***** but have yet to receive anything. I'm tired of waiting and want my money back and want to be treated as a decent human being. On 08/21/23, I contacted ARC Management Group after searching their number in reference to a letter we received in error trying to collect a medical debt for an unnamed employee. The letter also didn't specify a date of service. While I was trying to explain the issue to *****, he proceeded to cut me off several times while aggressively asking me for the info that I wasn't provided in the letter. He stated that he was trying to help me, but that I was being "difficult" by not giving the info that I didn't have. I gave the file number listed and was told it didn't exist before being transferred to a voicemail that didn't allow me to leave a message. Upon calling back, I was given a number to a Credit Management Company to call. The number was inactive which required me to call ARC Management Group LLC. again. I was again treated rudely while waiting for another number. The gentleman that I spoke with through their Credit Management Group admitted that the numbers they have listed are no longer in service. He proceeded to help give me some info into whom the claim was in reference to, but then hung up on me when I requested more documentation and offered to give him our ********* comp insurance info. I tried to call back, but couldn't get thru. I got another number and contacted them and this time I was able to request the documentation. I was told that it might arrive out of the designated window for dispute, and was also told that ***************** was listed as the guarantor. When I reiterated that it must be in error I was told that the time period to correct that and file with our insurance had closed. I then pieced together that they had purchased this debt recently and are trying to get payment on something that was improperly filed.TL;DR We are a public school that was billed in error for a medical bill. It took hours of looking up numbers and being treated rudely just to speak to someone. We are being pressured to pay instead of giving the correct info.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:their statements made are purely false. We have reviewed our business phone records, and no one from the ** area let alone this company has contacted us. The only person with the workers' comp claim info has not spoken to anyone since the initial incident. I am unsure as to why these false claims were made, but I can only assume it was to deceive the BBB. Our Board attorney has reviewed the lone piece of correspondence we have received from ARC and is advising us on how to proceed given the fraudulent nature of these interactions.

ARC has been diligently trying to rectify this situation. Our manager, **************, called on 8/22/2023 at 10:22am. Our phone system is voice over IP so it may show as an inbound call from an 866 number. There is no way we are trying to deceive the BBB or anyone else. The Information provided to ************** included the claim ID of ************ and the adjuster *******************************. ************** immediately relayed all the information to the provider of services billing department and requested the claims to be submitted. The providers office confirmed with us that the claims for both dates of service were sent out that same day, 8/22/2023. We will follow up with the adjuster to make sure that the claims have been received on 8/29/2023 allowing time for receipt of the claims. Have a nice weekend!Initial Complaint

I am rejecting this response because:Im rejecting the company response because they deny that they have a contract. That corroborates my claim that I do not owe them anything. How can this be closed if they are admitting in their response that they have no contract. Thats in itself shows I have no obligation to them. I demand under the statues of Congress laws 15 U.S.C **** section 602 ******** States I have the right to privacy. And 15 U.S.C **** Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish a account without my written instructions 15 U.S.C also
1692C If a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing that the consumer refuses to pay a debt or that the consumer wishes the debt collector to cease further communication with the consumer, the debt collector shall not communicate further with the consumer with respect to such debt. ARC management Group has already stated. I demand the BBB follow the rules of the law by reopening the complaint and finding in my favor that they have no grounds to file for a collection for some debt for something that did not occur to them. I further demand this immediate removal from my credit reporting
