    I followed the instructions and installed on my ****** Truck and noticed NOTHING except is blinking all the time even when the truck is not running or having key in ignition.. I purchased stage 3 last year and I give plenty time to learning habits like they recommend…. From all this I have learned it’s a SCAM AND I LOST MY MONEY!!! I just cannot believe my self how naive I was , I have read the reviews on their website… it’s all roseeeee but in my view it’s a total waste of time and money, another lesson learned!!!

    Thorton Website claim HP boost and MPG increase on their top of the line tuning chip, offering you a trial period to try it out.(During trial period there is no mention you must drive 150 miles for the chip to work until you open install instructions.) Purchased two chips about 6 weeks apart. No power increase to the *** ***** ********, No MPG Improvement. Took awhile for 150 miles, this car is driven very little 20K, and it's a 2021. I became extremely suspicious, the power control module failed just around 135 miles after chip install. Thorton, after no returned calls, emailed me. Denied any issues ever from their company who has been in Business since 2008 they make no mistakes! After I voiced my suspicion, the chip produced failure to the power control module. Car never been in shop for any issues, ran perfectly before installing Thorton Chip.
    Meanwhile, the 2nd Chip arrived for 2025 ***** *** Truck. The chip would not install properly after several attempts. No support or comments from Thorton other than telling me the same instructions with installation process that came with the chip. They did say certain lights would illuminate. I explained they did not, was why I asked for support. Removed Chip not driving the Truck and requested refund of both chips.
    Thorton said they examine the unit then authorize a refund, taking another 7 days.
    * No place on their website for feedback, but shows only positive reviews by past customers with 4 or 5 stars with 90% 4 Star 100% 5 Star! NOT ONE WITH 3 OR UNDER! BBB rates, Thorton "F". I took the time to post this to warn others of bad product, bad service with difficult refunds and time to refund while I wait for my refund*

    Lowkey all the people complaining but do u have any modifications to your car cold air intake cat back exhaust I notice a significant change in throttle response and shifting response and trucks why would u even try on a stick truck??

    I agree with the rest of the crowd here. Total scam- did absolutely nothing for me other than flatten my wallet!

    This company is a scam!! They sell you the a fake tuner that just flashes when you plug it in to the scanner port. It did absolutely nothing to my truck for performance or gas mileage! I called and demanded my money back but I wasn't successful in doing so. I don't not recommend this product to anyone looking for a boost in performance just a was of $$$!!!

    This chip does not work and is 100% a scam. I tried this with zero results. I took it apart since they would not refund my money back and found it just makes lights blink with no actual use other than that. Their web site has no way to leave a review. They have ONLY positive reviews, which should have been a red flag to start with. After doing a thorough investigation of this type of hype, all were found to be a bunch of lies to defraud people. I repeat, DO NOT BUY. these like all the rest are fake...........I have called them out and they will not respond. That is another red flag. there needs to be someone on here with contacts to an attorney for a class action suit brought.

    Customer Service is extremely poor. They lied about shipping blaming the post office. Three days later it foinally shipped. It took 5 day to ship out. Thorton Chip Tuning DOES NOT WORK. SAVE YOUR MONEY. I wish I would have listened to the reviews.

    So let me start off by saying My name is Scott I purchased stage two it showed it was delivered but guess what it was not delivered to my box or my house I think they made a mistake and dropped it off on another route so I called this company and they tell me they're going to replace it then they say no we cannot replace it basically your out of luck I think all reality this company has ripped me off and I am not happy I'm going to the business bureau if they don't help me I am unsatisfied customer and did not get my product that I paid for I have bank statements saying I bought this item but I never received it it is not fair as a customer to lose out all the way around I didn't even ask for money All I asked is for them to replace it it never showed up to my house very rude to me on the phone basically call me a liar I do not represent this company or this product I tell you one thing right now I would not buy it cuz I think it's a scam
