    Scam in many ways! Ordered my chip and installed it the day I got it, this never did anything for me at all so decided to return it, they offer to send a new one because it might be “defective” so they do. The scam part comes when I try to return this second one they sent me because the old one may have been “defective”. They tell me I’m outside the return date and can no longer have a refund. So they send you another chip out of what seems like good character but it’s really to push you outside of a warranty and then tell you that you can’t get a refund! Super shady business and apparently they don’t have a management system that takes customer calls! Just speaking to people working at home who could care less about your experience!’

    Scam!!! I tried it figured with 30 day money back guarantee why not. Well chip did nothing for performance or fuel mileage so made arrangements to return, they sent return shipping label (with wrong address) so now they claim I didn't send. Scam...

    Used the chip and tracked gas consumption and did not gain any MPG. Total scam and waste of time! Funny how they have positive reviews but no where to leave a review on the site!

    Thornton Chip Tuners are a SCAM! Go on youtube and do some research of all the people who tore these apart to inspect internals. These chips and and ALL similar ones are nothing more than a blinking light box, internal components are not capable of increasing performance in any way. I do not know how this company (and many like it) are allowed to do business! Should be illegal to knowingly sell "snake oil" this day and age. Please.do not buy this junk! It literally does nothing except draw enough power from your obd2 port to make a light blink.

    Garbage. Save your money. I put this is in a new 2022 Ram w/the 5.7 Hemi. It did nothing and I am getting way worse mileage on this vehicle than I have on my previous Ram's with the same engine. I am wondering if the thing didn't interfere with the computer and mess something up? I complained to Thorton and they said they would send me a new chip. After returning the old one they didn't send me a replacement. I called and requested a refund. They refused, but said they'd get the new chip out promptly. I will not put it in the vehicle. Do not buy this product.

    This company is super shady. Double charged and left to pursue the alleged 2nd package shipped to us. No assistance or advice at all, very unhelpful. When WE resolved their issue we were provided only a portion of the amount charged and have been ghosted in pursuing a resolution and a full refund. Don't put yourself in this position to be out of pocket and scammed!

    2021 Ram EcoDiesel. No improvement in HP or fuel economy. Do not waist you money on Thorton Chip Tuning devices.
