1 starBought a stove at this Home Depot on **********. They sub-contract installation to a company called *************. TERRIBLE customer ********************** and major pain in the **** to get the gas stove installed. Had to send multiple photos in advance to *************. Had to get my own plumber in to install a new gas shut-off valve--$400 more than the $1500 purchase and installation price. Sent photos again to *************/Home Depot with new shut off valve. Then ************* people show up and say they still can't install. Say they can't drill into a tile floor for balancing bracket, even though the floor has been drilled into in past (and we said we'd do it ourselves right now, if they wait). Then say they need a wooden 2 x4 to drill brackets to. We say, "Wait, we will get one from basement and drill it in ourselves." No, they can't accept that for some reason. "Okay," we say. "Just leave the stove and take this one away. We will get our plumber to install." No, they can't do that because they are not allowed to turn the gas off at the cut-off valve, which they would have to do to haul away old stove. Finally, so furious, I just say cancel the order. I blame Home Depot, too. They should be monitoring the subcontracters they are working with. ************* was COMPLETELY unhelpful and I spent hours with pre-visit emails and $400 on a plumber BEFORE they came to make sure this could happen. I have been a loyal Home Depot customer for years but I will never use them again. Thank goodness there is a ****** right down the road a half mile. Between that, Ace, and my local hardware store, I am covered and need not step foot in Home Depot again. I'd rather eat shards of glass then deal with them again.The Home Depot

1 starIn December I purchased a safe (link below519 lbs) online for my son-in-law. Last night, he removed the box covering and remarkably the safe had substantial damage. Including the front right upper corner (significantly) bent and compromised. There is additional damage to the lower front and back, which I can provide if you want. Why am I writingI called customer ********************** and was connected with a very nice rep located in *************. She explained that the safe was only returnable in store. If the damage was simply cosmetic, it would be fine. But the frame is actually bent in two places. I wrote and texted the Home Depot regional manager *******************. After 3 days no reply. I then paid $15 to nonono.com to assist with escalation. I received a call and message from ****** for ** executive escalation. I returned the call and used her extension. I was rolled over to CS twice, explained the situation twice and put on hold for a total of 30 min. On the 3rd attempt ****** answered her extension. I explained that the degree of damage was such that someone(s) in the order/delivery chain had an accident with the product. Instead of reporting, resolving, or checking the productthey let it go through. Essentially making their problem my problem. I accept the risk for returning a product with cosmetic damage issues. However, the safe has structural damage whereby any contents would not be covered by insurance. Im 66 yrs old and moving a safe to a Home Depot store is not possible. If this was standard damage, I would accept the standard required in-store return. However, the damage is non-standard and an exception to the ** requirements should be considered. 1 starWe were led into a scam by Home Depot. We entered a raffle for what they told ** was a free water filtration system just to have a man clearly on drugs (cocaine) come to our home at 8pm and stay until almost midnight while we calmed down our screaming 2 year old. He made degrading jokes about women and was extremely insulting. Rainsoft are wolves in sheeps clothing and for home depot to do business with them says a lot! We will sadly no longer be shopping at home depot. Lowes here we come!Review fromLinette J

1 starI am very dissatisfied with hime depot. We purchased , microwave, electric range, refrigerator and dishwasher bundle on 12-29-23.Delivery date was set for January 27th of 24. We were told by home depot to remove all of the old appliances. We removed them that morning of the January 27th. Expecting our appliances between 2:30-6:30 we stay home all day only to receive a phone call about 6:20 that evening from the delivery guy ************************* stating that we were not getting pur appliances because the truck was stuck in the mud, I handed the phone to my husband and ************************* told my husband that the truck broke down. My husband asked for his supervisor name and number ************************* hung up on my husband. I called home depot and the manager said give them to 9pm and call back, really the store closes at 9pm. We had to throw out all of our refrigerator food because we had no appliances in the home.we need to be compensates for our food. We canceled the order and purchase from another companyThe Home Depot

1 starI had Homedepot do a renovation of my kitchen. After one month the kitchen is still not finished, the cabinet doors and drawers are wrong, one cabinet is missing and one was measured incorrectly. Homedepot claims that I changed the design which I did not and claims that the design of the cabinet doors and drawers are solid maple but are clearly a much cheaper design. Homedepot has stopped communicating with me.The Home Depot

1 starI shop at your store almost daily and my husband and I went to your store in ********* ********* on **************************** Wednesday night and shopped and paid for our items as we were leaving your loss prevention man along with a police officer stops me at the exit door and I am told by your loss prevention guy that he kicked me out that store a year ago I told him he had the wrong person he said I was lying and he said he had a picture of me from a year ago I assured him he didnt have a picture of me. He went to his office to find it in the meantime I am detained for the next 30 minutes with the police officer as people walked by I was very embarrassed. One of my husbands friends even saw us and word is already around my town. Also we was there getting a piece that my husband needed to finish a job that he was fired from for being 45 min late. I never got an apology and the loss prevention guy never came out the building.The Home Depot

1 starI order doors to be delivered on 1/23/2024 and other items to pick up at the store. The items I was to pick up from store was delivery instead of the doors. The person took a picture of the item he delivery and put in the system that he delivery my doors. I call asking about the doors and was told it was a mix up and my doors would be delivery on 1/27/2024. The doors never arrive on that day again, so I called and spoke with the same person and he said the doors would be delivery on the 1/30/2024, so now it is 904pm and my doors still have not been delivered and I call the **** store they spoke with the same person that I would be receiving my doors and he told them he would call me in the morning and he needed to find where the doors are. I am out raged with them taking my money, lying saying they delivered my doors, and them changing the date so many times. I called and told them to refund my money and after the person told me if I wanted to come get my receipt for returning my money and I asked him could he email it to me, he said no and, so I said I would pick it up tomorrow, and he said I can't guarantee that the receipt will be here. If you can email me that lie that you delivered my doors, then lie that they was going to be delivered 3 times after I called you out about not delivering them, why could you not email me my receipt. This sounds like they are trying to cover that tracks, so no one will know what they did. I will never order nothing from them again. I hope this never happen to anyone else.The Home Depot

1 starI ordered 2 pallets and an additional 16 cases of Lifeproof brand Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring from Home Depot. The 16 cases which arrived in branded Lifeproof boxes were fine and were installed. However, ALL of the planks that subsequently came in the two pallets were packed in flimsy plain white unbranded boxes, had crushed edges and were unusable. HD promised to pick them up within a few days. It has now been over a week and they are still sitting in the middle of my living room. I reordered two more pallets to complete the job. One of the pallets contains Lifeproof branded boxes and can be installed, however, once again, the edges of the planks in the flimsy white unbranded boxes on the second pallet were crushed and cannot be used. I contacted HD's customer ********************** yet again and have been told that their department will put in some notes with the order that explains the situation, but that there is no guarantee that anyone will read them. I will need to reorder another pallet and just hope for the best. In the meantime, I have to pay the installers every time an order is picked up from HD, I now have over 70 cases of damaged planks in my home and the work cannot be completed with delays now exceeding a month. Extremely dissatisfied with Home Depot's lack of oversight on the quality of their products and lack of comprehension on how to solve problems.The Home Depot

1 starI used to be able to get a military discount at Home Depot by showing my retired military ID. Nope not anymore. Now they require us to register online with some 3rd party source who wants all your private information. This is just another company,(Home Depot and this third party to gather as much confidential information as possible in the name of a 10 % discount. And they claim to honor veterans. What a joke. As far as I'm concerned Home Depot can shove it up their a$$. I'll shop somewhere else from now on.The Home Depot

1 starI am writing to you in regards to the order H0921-199531.I placed the order back on September 11, 2023. It's an order for the storm door. The order was placed at the store located at ***************************************************************************I paid in full the same day.The store told me they will call me for someone to measure my door. Received no call from the store. Went back. The sales person ordered the measurement and told me they will call me to schedule installation when the door is received. I took a day off from work for installers to measure the door. But again, No call from the store! Back to the sales person. He called installers, and we scheduled the installation. I took another day off from work. The installer came and said the measurement was wrong and the new part needs to be ordered. The part came, but was shipped to the house I used to leave before I moved out in 2017! Good thing the new owner of the house was nice enough to give me a call about it. The part was too long and I had to arrange it to move from ************** (my old house) to ********* (New House). I took another day off from work. The installer finally came and declared the part is wrong again!!!The Home Depot will have to order the correct part again!!! The Specialty Sales Assistant store Manager told me he will personally oversee this order. I had to call him a few times. Every time getting a promise to call me back. Still waiting... Today is January 30, ****. I am still without the Storm Door...Should off use Lowes!The Home Depot
