    Hello, I wish to report an issue with the website Smartbackgroundchecks.com. The website without my knowledge or permission has posted all of my personal, and private information to their internet site. This is posing a privacy and security/safety risk for me and my family. I also fear being placed at further risk of fraud due to the extent of information shared about me by the site, Smart Background Checks. I am afraid to enroll in their opt out option as I am not sure if by doing so it will expose me to identity theft. I would like for this site to completely remove my name, data and all information related to me and my relativesfrom its site and all of their/it's affiliate sites

    Fake online profiles have been put up on multiple free public profile websites. I am unable to either contact a representative directly by phone (only automated options) or remove the data myself due to corrupt links. I will be following up with police report and a subpoena to find out who posted this profile.

    May 12th , 2023. This morning I was notified that my personal information was found in SmartBackgroundChecks.com including all of my current information, I have contacted them for opt out; what disturbs me the most is my relative information etc. is found here and that it may impact others. I did not volunteer for this information to be placed here, and they have a track record of failing to remove or complete requests. I did not sign up for this, nor ask for this. This can impact my current job and others. Please help.
