  Loadup provided the worst removal service I have ever had the misfortune to use. If I could give negative stars, I definitely would. I strongly urge anyone looking for help with ecologically defensible disposal of goods to look elsewhere.This review is NOT to cast aspersions on the third party loaders. They did the absolutely best they could with the information they were given by Loadup. The two young men from the third party loader who arrived to take my piano were as nice as could be but had no experience with handling a baby grand. Within minutes of their arrival they succeeded in snapping off two of the legs as they tried to muscle the intact piano toward the door. They then proceeded to try to disassemble it, a task for which they had no training and not the first idea of how baby grands are put together. Nor were they physically strong enough to lift the piano sound board and associated hardware into their van but rather had to push it along a brick walkway and then wiggle it into the van from a leaning position. Their van **** panel truck) seemed inadequate for transport of such a large and bulky instrument. I was told they had bungie cords to hold the piano in place. Its hard to imagine what bungie cords strong enough to restrain a piano would look like.The coup de ***** came when I inquired as to what would be done with the piano pieces. Although Loadup had assured me via their website that as a company they are committed to recycling and would do everything in their power to keep salvageable items out of a landfill (the ivory keys, for instance) the loaders indicated that their job, per their instructions from Loadup , was to take my piano to the dump.For the $750 I paid Loadup in advance, I expected more. Had I wanted discard to a dump, I could have hired the boys from Got Junk for a lot less.

  Fraudulent business. I placed an order online being specific about what was needed. They accepted my payment and scheduled an appt. When the representative showed up, he said they don't provide the service I requested and said he'd notify the office of submitting a refund. There was no follow up refund or communication so I contacted the company directly. They only provided a 50% refund. I responded by stating they should have read my request and not accepted it if it was for a service they don't provide. Does. not feel like a legitimate business.

  Absolutely terrible company! If I could leave negative stars, I would. Do NOT spend your money with this company. I wanted 2 sofas removed and was told a time slot for 8am-12pm. 2pm came and went with no call from driver about arrival time and company COULDNT REACH THEIR OWN DRIVER! I canceled my appointment and was told Id receive only a 50% refund because the time slot is not guaranteed. Money spent for a non- existent service. Company says they use contractors but they cant even reach the drivers to confirm pickup time. Personally, I think no one was coming to begin with. This is very bad and untrustworthy business practice. I will NEVER recommend this company and will discourage anyone who needs a removal service from contacting this company. Youd be better served calling a good, reputable company like 1-800-Got-Junk who will show up and get the job done.

  Easy to establish a service request and get succinct answers to some concerns.The loaders arrived within the time frame quoted and efficiently removed an elliptical machine from our home without any damages.Both loaders were cordial and appeared to be experienced handling a bulky piece of equipment.We would recommend using LoadUp.

  I received an instant response to my order. I was cautiously hopeful that my stuff would be picked and picked up as scheduled. Happily it was! The companys communications throughout the process was incomparable. I received messages every step of the way from confirming my order to pickup. I think theyre pricey, but my experience with Load Up could not have been better. I would definitely use them again and encourage others to give them a try.

  Found this company online through a ****** search. When looking at availability a time slot of 8am to 12pm was listed as available. That time worked perfect for me and that is what I selected. They have you pay up front and I received my confirmation email around 5:15pm on Thursday for pickup between 8am and 12pm on Friday. At 10am on Friday I received 1 text (first communication I received outside the confirmation email) saying that there was some unfortunate issue and that my item would still be picked up today but it could be later than 12pm. At 1:30pm I reached out to cancel my order as my item was still not picked up nor had I received any addition communication on what was going on. There is no phone number to call and the "live chat" on their website does not work. So my only choice was to email. I received a response back really quick telling me that I'd only receive a 50% refund because I was canceling less than 24 hours before my service and that they were willing to offer me a 10% discount for my trouble. When actually I was trying to cancel 1 hour and 30 minutes AFTER my service was supposed to be completed per their website and what I selected and paid for. I responded to say their response was unacceptable and that I was canceling because they failed to provide the service that I requested. I never heard back from them. In fact I never heard anything from them again until 7:15pm to tell me my loader was finally on their way. My loader didn't show up until 8:05pm, 8 hours and 5 minutes after my pick up window had passed. They obviously do not care about their customers time or honor their pick up windows. I wasted an entire day sitting at home waiting for these people to come and pick up my items. I do not recommend at all and will NEVER use this company or their "service" again.

  Both men were very knowledgeable about taking our old recliner loveseat apart to remove it from our apartment.
