      Dealing with HotelPlanner has been a frustrating experience. I got mixed up with them when I was switched to them without my knowledge for booking a room. When I tried to rectify that situation, it only got more complicated. I am going to lose over $500, and I can't see any way to prevent that. My latest scrape has been because I wanted to change the reservation date. E-mail communications were very slow and not very helpful. Phone calls assured me my change was going to be expedited, but that hasn't happened. I'm very upset with the company and will NEVER deal with them again; and I will caution everyone I know to be wary of switches to 3rd party reservations people, who seem to be unscrupulous. I just cancelled my reservation with HotelPlanner and realize I'm going to lose money. I should have money left on my voucher, but I'm not sure I want to deal with this outfit any longer.

      I contacted Hotel Planner 14 days in a row about my hotel receipt, had the wrong name, could not get a daily charge and without the right name and daily charge could not file on a business expense and I lost $600:00 because they would not fix the receipt they screwed up. They are deceitful they advertise hotel chains with there number instead of Hotel Reservations so when they answer the phone they just say reservations and you think you are talking directly with the hotel instead of a third party. The Better Business Bureau needs to shut these people down. ny star rating is 0

      I booked a reservation with a *************** but had to cancel the reservation the next day. Hotelplanner.com was the service provider that ********* used for me to make the reservation (I made the reservation directly through the Fairfield website). In trying to cancel my reservation and receive a refund, I have had to provide documentation, including a signed letter from my supervisor at work, as to why my plans had to change and I had to cancel my reservation.I will not book with Fairfield again just to avoid having to work with hotelplanner.com.

      BIG fees to use this company - be aware of what you are signing up for! They make it sound like they are the hotel. Better to book with hotel directly and avoid the middle man

      Im not sure if this is the right company, but it appears HotelPlanner.com is connected to **************. My booking voucher lists **************, but the phone number and merchant information on my bank statement point to HotelPlanner.com, suggesting they are affiliated. This overlap makes the situation confusing and deceptive for customers. Both of these companies have issues on reviews saying lots of fraudulent behavior in the spirit of making reservations.On November 3, I believed I was booking directly with a *************** The representative never disclosed they were a third party and assured me the reservation was 100% refundable within 24 hours. I agreed only under that condition to book the room, this was all done over the phone so all i had was a verbal agreement and word of mouth trust.After receiving a confirmation i started to notice things where off as it had no ******** branding and noted a non-refundable policy, I called ******** and learned they had no record of my booking. Calling the number on the confirmation led to hours of runaround, I was hung up on, transferred repeatedly, and told they would check recordings before deciding on a refund. This all happened not even 4 hours after initially booking, well within the stated 24 hours i SHOULD have had. TO add to this issue they added over $200 for ridiculous tax and service fees, you don't see this until you get the receipt that's been paid for.They later did cancel this reservation and offered only a voucher for future use despite me requesting the refund. This is deceptive and unethical. Im requesting a full refund of all charges and confirmation that all bookings are canceled without penalty.
