1 starJUST STAY AWAY, THERE HAVE TO BE BETTER OPTIONS. My mother?, who passed away recently?, banked with Suncoast for decades. I mean over four decades. I sent them all the appropriate legal documents showing that I was her executor?, power of attorney etc. When I was contacted by a special accounts representative they essentially told me that they locked down her checking account holding all of the funds in that checking account hostage until her car loan was paid off. I suppose they don't care that this is extortionate behavior. I asked them how they suggested that I pay her final expenses and bills while they're holding her money hostage and they don't have an answer for that. Had I known that they would lock me out and tie my hands I would have just accessed her accounts and done what I needed to before I notified them. Basically they're playing fast and loose with their own policies and s******* over their members. I'm trying to handle all of my mother's Financial Obligations?, while I grieve from 8 hours away and they offered zero help except to upset me and lock me out of her bank account.? Should be ZERO STARS. I would NEVER do business with them.Suncoast Credit Union

1 starTheir app is utterly useless. While out of the country for a month, I was unable to pay because their app would not process my payment. I made the payment immediately upon returning, but they reported me as delinquent. I called five days in a row and asked to be escalated to a supervisor to rectify this but every time i call, they are in a meeting and will return my call within ***** hours. Well its been over a week and they do not answer. So many hours wasted and such poor customer service. Go elsewhere for your banking and loan needs.Suncoast Credit Union

1 starI apply for a car loan. They run my credit and approve me only to never send me the documents and tell me to call them. They refuse to give me a loan now and do not give a reason why. Terrible way to run a bank. I am closing my accounts here and going elsewhere. 20+ years down the drain. But thanks for being a member! Yeah right.Suncoast Credit Union

1 starThis Credit Union has gone to complete ****, I have all of my loans, vehicles, credit cards, etc. through this bank. After losing my father and paying funeral costs, my account became delinquent 1 TIME!! For a week!! Been banking with them 7 years… I begged for understanding and help and was laughed at when I said I would have to close my account. “Nothing we can do, rules are rules”. All I asked was to re-advance a payday loan, that I’ve successfully re-payed for 5 years straight. Never missed a single payment, never late. I’m considering filing bankruptcy, just so I never pay this god awful Bank another dime.Suncoast Credit Union

1 starMy card was suddenly blocked for genuinely no reason without a call or text. I called and they didn't explain why it was blocked, then they lied saying fraduelent charges. Now they're commanding me to either wait for a new card or just wait for my new card to be mailed. It's barely about the money, it's why it was blocked in the first place. I work 2 jobs so I can't go to a branch during business hours.Suncoast Credit Union

We confirmed that your card number was on a Visa compromised card list. Criminals routinely probe financial networks for personal data, Suncoast monitors our networks closely. Indications of unusual activity is investigated closely for indications of a potential compromise. Out of an abundance of caution, Suncoast may reissue debit cards for enhanced member security. A letter was mailed to the address on file advising you of what occurred and that the card was set to close on 08/01. 1 starHorrible credit union. I ran into financial situations after being with this credit union for years and I went to them to let them know about them. They lied and said they would work with me on the credit accounts I had with them. They immediately turn all the accounts we were supposed to make arrangements on over to their attorneys to *** me! Do not trust this credit union. At the end it made smaller payments per month for them with no interest. If you are ever in a financial situation and need to turn the property back in do not sign the form they give you to relieve them of informing you of how much they sold the property for!! My mistake of not reading the entire fine print! But they say you need to sign it or they cant take the property! Highly do not recommend banking with suncoast credit union.Suncoast Credit Union

1 starSuncoast credit union is one of the most Unprofessional banks I've ever dealt with in all my years of buying trucks. I traded in a truck and got approved for another truck through Suncoast talked about rates and payments before I made my new purchase after leaving with the new truck all the documents were wrong took days to finally talk to someone and make it right then days go by and now I'm getting letters for late payments on a the previous truck and insurance after contacting them and explained the truck was traded in over a month ago and was already sold to another individual as they clearly seen it but still hit my credit for late payments and dropped by 23points which all of you know that's a big hit for nothing I did and the bank knew all of this and still reported it to my credit now I have to fight to get my credit back right after the bank knew of the issue and that the dealership was going back and forth with them as well. 1 starI'm seventy four and i'm a 100 % disabled Vietnam veteran. In all my years i've never dealt with a company like this. Money that I sent from my account never made it in. No one would notify me or telll what Is going on these are the worst people and the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life.
