  This service is a scam. I put my order May 01 2025 and today August 11 2025 I still dont have a birth certificate. They are unable to tell me if I will get a certificate or not. They told me to contact the health department although I paid $64. Apparently all they do is send your application and they say their service is that. To submit application with no guarantee that you will actually receive your document. I was naive to think that this service was legitimate. I called customer service and they were unhelpful. Telling me to keep waiting or call the health department myself.

  If you need a copy of your Birth Certificate, Vital Records On-line is best way to go. They utilize an on-line Notary for your convenience, so everything is done all at once. Way to go Vital Records!!!

  FRAUD. I have been waiting 8 months for my daughter's birth certificate. Every time I went online to see the order status, it showed my order date as that same day, and showed different estimated completion and processing times, always about 3-4 weeks in the future. They have virtually no live customer service. It took me weeks to get a call back to figure out the DC *********** "needed" my marriage certificate, which I emailed to Vital Records to send to *********. Yesterday, I did get an email response after leaving several angry voicemails, which said to call the ********* **** for an update on my order. The government official I spoke to said they only work with VITAL CHEK. The name of this company is so misleading because the official government office is DC Vital Records. Waste of my money and time and now my peace of mind given all the personal information I had to share with them.
