    Pretty sure this is a scam, but will wait a bit longer before issuing a formal complaint. My record has been processed for over a month now. When I called, they told me the state of my birth's health department would mail me my records but it's been longer than the window they said it would take and I still have no shipping conformation. They also hung up on me multiple times when calling customer service. Very jarring and shady customer service experience. I would steer clear.

    Do not use Vital Records online VRO) , they are NOT an approved vendor with *** and there is no way to a track order with the *** health ***** directly. I ordered a marriage certificate on Jan 31 2025 and as of today August 22, 2025 I still don't have it. I called Vital records online yesterday to ask my status show completed but pending task. They are unable to tell me if I will get a certificate or not. They told me to contact the health department although I paid them to process. I reached out to *** and they said Vital Records Online (VRO) is not one of their direct vendors and therefore they are unable to provide me with a status . They said I should have used a company called Vital Chek instead. I called VRO and told them *** cannot track their application. Apparently, all VOR does is sends your application with a check and thats the extent of their responsibility. They submit your application via mail with no guarantee that you will actually receive your document. I asked VOR to check to see if the check they sent cleared, which they resisted but finally checked and said it didnt. I asked them to stop payment on the check and refund my money but they refused. They wanted me to call back *** and give them the check number to track it. Come on really??! They expected a government agency who has a wait time of 24 weeks to find an envelope with a check that hasnt been cashed. Give me a break. Do yourself a favor and just use vital chek. Unfortunately, I thought VRO was an approved vendor that worked directly with the state. They should state on they site they are not an approved vendor.

As outlined in our terms of service, applications that have already been prepared, processed, and mailed on your behalf are non-refundable. This is because the service has already been rendered once the application is delivered to the government office.

    Vital Records Online is in no way affiliated with anything. They are just a company that charges you extra to do the work for you. However, I never received my Birth Certificate and when I called 311 in ******** they explained to me that V.R.O is not an ******************* I tried calling the company and they hung up on me. Stay clear away from Vital Records Online

    This is the absolute worst so called resource out there. First they asked me for document after document which was fine although frustrating then when I submitted everything they asked for they said the health department would send my birth certificate in 8-10 weeks well it has been well over 14 weeks and all they tell me is that its been processed. They will not give me any updates or information. Every time I message them asking for clarification or an eta they give me absolutely no information so after almost a year of verifying documents resending pictures then over 14 weeks of them saying the health department had everything they needed and it was being processed Im still no closer than I was a year ago to getting my birth certificate. I would never use this service again and I strongly suggest you dont either. Pretty sure its a SCAM!!
