      We have had two Tracfones for years. When we tried to add minutes to one recently, we no longer could do to their "upgrades". We plan to let them die and will not do business with again ever. The Tracfone people in their service department were obsolete. They thought they were in sales and wanted to sell us phones.

      the worst service I have had ever, with any product or business. Trying to switch services they made it EXTREMEMLY DIFFICULTY AND TIME CONSUMING to unlock my phone [which should have been unlocked automatically], and then to port my phone number. Still working on that after 3 hours on the phone. Given a "transfer pin" that didn't work. Called back, told I need a different number..... it is endless.. Leaving because every time I interacted with the website it would glitch, tell me my account was invalid. Customer service reps couldn't actually respond to questions or have a real conversation, only read from a script.

      Worst phone service EVER. 1 STEP above drug dealer burner phone. We are 200 miles away from a from our 92 yr old mother and outgoing msg says Account has service restrictions This would mean she owes money or she mistakenly put the phone in Airplane mode We've called track phone for assistance and because we don't know her passwords we can't help her so we will be closing the account when we see her within a week and we will be putting her on a family plan good bye track phone and all your low class behavior and service who the **** do you think you're protecting

      The worst technical service and customer service that I've ever experienced!!! I spent hours speaking to customer care service, trying to figure out why my new Orbic tracfone couldn't receive calls nor could I call out. After patiently trying for two months with a tracfone customer care employee, I finally gave up and purchased the same phone with Spectrum. I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing a tracfone to be very cautious!!!****************

      I was a customer of ********************** for over 20 years. Recently I had difficulties with my phone and sent it in for replacement. Tracfone received my phone on September 30th and I was told to expect a replacement in 3 to 5 business days. I would follow up with their customer service number and I was always told that it would be 3 to 5 business days. **************** Representatives did not have the correct information available to them. They just kept saying that everything was fine and to expect a phone in 3 to 5 business days. Now almost 2 weeks went by and after numerous calls I wanted to speak to a supervisor. He looked at my information and found that nothing was done. He would make a note on my file and that should solve the problem and to expect a phone in 3 to 5 business days. Another 3 days passed and on October 13th I called Corporate again and was told the same thing and to expect a phone in 3 to 5 days. Nothing happened and I contacted them again October 18th. I was told the same thing again. I asked if Corporate could escalate the matter or speak to the proper area to resolver this issue. Sadly the Representative said all he could do was to note the file and to expect a phone in 3 to 5 days. At this point I was totally frustrated and very upset at the lack of service to the Customer by the Company. It is not the way to do business and , feeling I was caught in a "groundhog day" experience, I elected to switch to ************ Of course I had to buy another phone and enroll in their plan. All additional expense to me. I had over 5 months left on my Tracfone yearly service and gave up my phone. It was a not the type of service that a Company should provide to a loyal customer of over 20 years. Prospective customers should do comparison shopping and look for another alternative to Tracfone. No one should ever have to experience what I did.

      TERRIBLE!!!! If I could give them zero stars, I would. The phones are trash and do not work well. Customer service is horrendously bad. My mom cancelled her account when the junk phone quit working years ago, but it never showed up as cancelled and they have continued to bill her every year since, even though the account was supposed to be closed. as my mom does not work a computer or a cell phone anymore, I am the one who gets to deal with this nightmare company. Hours upon hours on the phone with customer service flunkies to try to get the charges refunded and the account closed. Very difficult to even get to speak with a supervisor. Just buy an iphone and get service from a reputable provider.

      Why cant we give 0 Stars?? We've been tracfone users for 10+ years, but now they have the worse customer service. What is going on w **********************. I bought a new iphone 14 pro **** 2 days trying to transfer number. Im still waiting for a call back, its been 2 days. Agents are USELESS. I have unlimited text, ************** and an agent told me that I'm running out of minutes and she couldnt help because issues w comp. I had the same issue. She "transferred" me to a higher department and of course I was disconnected. They read from a manuscript, she repeated the same thing over and over, very hard to understand her. I could hear in the background other "agents" laughing and having a great time, that's how busy they all are? So ready to take my business to another company. DO NOT RELY ON TRACFONE, ******** WANT TO WASTE MONEY

      Terrible service is you get a phone with repeat issues. My issue was I could send text messages but could not receive them. They would fix the problem then 3-4 weeks later the problem would return. After several lengthy calls over a 3 month period to tech support regarding the new phone; TracFone still wanted to spent hours on the phone try to work ***********.

      Same as the others - had flip phone for 12 years, told it's going to end, now cannot transfer to new phone BC I don't use the old one enough to 'authenticate'. Will lose ***** paid-for minutes and my phone number. Why is this legal?? Feels a lot like outright THEFT, all those cards I purchased for so long. Returning new phone, the heck with this. Beware if you're considering them...
