      It won't activate. I can't get a hold of anyone at the company. All I get is a stupid computer asking me for information over and over again. Then gets it wrong when I give it to them. I ask for an operator but it won't get me to a living person. It says to chat via text with an agent by texting chat to a number, but it never responds. I'm returning this phone to ******** ***** this.

      My mom ordered a tracfone for $268.89 on 28 Nov. He landline went down and she needed a phone because she did not have a life line. She lives alone. I set up the phone and the phone did not work. I returned it on 5 Dec. They refunded me $53.09. When I called them, first the refund department, *****, hung up on me as soon as I told him what the issue was. I called back, I put through to the refund department again and was left on hold indefinitely!! This is definitely a ****, especially awful when it involves the elderly.

      Oh my gosh, I have spent HOURS on the phone trying to get a little money back for a phone I bought through Tracfone months ago and it never worked properly, so I sent it back. I have gotten the most amazing run around. My phone was returned Nov 7th, tracking number proves that. After a zillion calls, I STILL get people who ask me the SAME information I have given them so many times. I have gotten order numbers, ticket numbers, reference numbers, and I still have to give the information, again and again. Finally I get, it is processing and wait 30 days. I waited the 30 days, nothing. I call again, then get it has been processed, wait 3 to 5 business days. No money back in bank after waiting beyond the time given, so I call again today and get, the claim has been denied because they can't find it. So I just talked to someone else, who I again gave the same info to and is putting it through again and having corporate call me in 20 minutes, which doesn't mean much because I have already been put through them a bit ago. CRAZY. After having Tracfone for years, I have gone to another company. Save yourself, it is no longer a good company, find another place to get your phone and phone service. They only get a 1 star because I can't give them less.

      Advertising a plan for $20 unlimited talk and text with 4gb of data yet I've been receiving only 1gb each month on said plan. Took me a while to figure out why my data was always gone when I use wifi for majority of the day daily as I'm home all the time. They are stealing from customers and getting away with it.

      Worst customer service ever!! Below 1 star review!! We have been fighting with them for a replacement warranty phone for over a month. They finally said they were sending our phone 2 weeks ago, confirming that our broken phone was at their facility. We called today to say we still haven't received our new phone. Unfortunately we lost the tracking number since the time they said new phone was supposed to be in the mail. Apparently, the technology doesn't exist to research our former conversation to see they had the old phone. So therefore I am not getting the phone I was promised even though they said that they had confirmed me sending old phone to them.

      PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! My Grandfather is an existing TracFone customer, and he decided to buy an unlocked phone and was going to switch his service from TracFone onto a SIM card on the new phone. He ordered a SIM card from TracFone, it shipped, and then we attempted to activate it. The activation website wasn’t working, so we contacted the provided phone number. I explained repeatedly that I was activating a physical SIM card. They informed us that they had an internal system issue and couldn’t activate it at that time, and they would need to call us back in 24 hours. They called back, we made it clear we were trying to activate the physical SIM card they shipped to us, but they decided to create an eSIM and transfer the number to that, unbeknownst to us. They claimed they activated the SIM card, but no service was available on the new phone, and then they de-activated the old phone without warning, so my Grandfather was left without a cellphone with service. Several hours of phone calls later, we discovered that they had created an eSIM, and had transferred the number to that, and de-activated the old phone. When we found out they created an eSIM, we tried to activate it, but in order to activate the eSIM, you have to receive a verification code on the phone number we were trying to transfer (which now wasn’t available because they deactivated his old phone). They also said he couldn’t keep his old number now unless he switched carriers. So after all of the hassle they put us through, he decided he wanted to move to a different carrier so he could keep his old number. He called to get a refund for the service plan he had just purchased, and after getting transferred several times, he finally got a hold of the department responsible for refunds. As soon as he said he wanted a refund for the cellular plan, they hung up on him. Their customer service is incompetent, and I would never recommend anyone do business with them.

      I cannot remember when I've had such terrible customer service. ********************** has a portal on their website where you enter your old cell phone number to check whether it can be ported/transferred. NEVER TRUST THIS!!!! It is a fraud and a scam to lure you in. When I entered my number, it said that I could transfer my cell number. After I ordered the phone and got it, and started the process of transferring the number, 12 hours into the process, I got a call from Tracfone that my number could not be transferred. It took 4 hours and 3 transfers to different departments to cancel the order and get a refund on the return of the phone. I'm sure their plan is to exhaust you, so you just agree to getting a new phone number. They are the absolute worst!!!!

      Bought a plan for ****** for unlimited calls and texts and was advised i paid for the wrong service and i would need to pay another ****** for right one. Called and emailed headquarters, no help but said they would call me back. Made purchase on 12-08-22, no correction from anyone. Only wanted more text but no response.

      Worst Company I have ever dealt with. I have been a customer for more than 8 years. I did not receive all of the Data that I paid for. When I called them to try to resolve the issue the Agent cleared out my service completely. I was on the phone with them over 3 hours trying to fix the problem. They could not restore the service plan I paid for. I ask them for a refund because it was their mistake. They refused to give me refund. I HAVE SWITCHED MY SERVICE TO SPECTRUM.

      They have been constantly turning my daughters phone off, lying saying she needs a new SIM card. Giving different reasons for the reason theyve turned her phone off. They keep trying to make you spend more money, the customer service is terrible, they are all foreign and dont understand your concern completely. I feel this is a fraudulent company that has taken over and they need to be shut down. This is the worst experience Ive ever had!
