      Tracfone continue to charge me a recurring monthly charge months after I cancelled service. I found a dummy account with my card info and no line associated with it. Multiple calls to customer service were infuriating and useless. Typical ***** call center. Agents could not even find my account much less refund the charges. I eventually had to dispute the charges through my bank.

      I have been with TracFone for 18 years. No problems until this last year. I was contacted and told they no longer supported the original phone I had since I first became a CUSTOMER. They would send me a new phone that is supported by their platform. Last summer (2022) I got a basic, flip phone. (Orbic model) I use the phone for emergencies and phone service only. I took multiple calls with customer service to get this new phone activated and able to make and receive phone calls. The agents seemed to have very little training, and they are offshore and English is not their home language. Early Jan 2023, I purchased a card to add minutes to my account. The phone no longer works. It indicates "no cellular network service available". So, I began calling **************** and it has been a nightmare. My guess is that I have spoke to somewhere in the range of 20 different agents. Including being given another number for "higher" level of troubleshooting at the "corporate office". I feel that I am just reaching another agent at the same call center. After each agent hears my dilemma, they all have me do the same things. Go into settings and verify that this and that are correct.Need your IMEI and SIM card numbers. Remove SIM card, wait 20 min and attempt to call someone. They tell you they are making adjustments to your service and wait 1 hour and the phone will work. I ask to speak to a manager, and they tell me they are the manager. I have been told I would receive a call back I think 8 times. Never get one. Though they verify my home number that they can reach me. One agent told me I needed to upgrade my phone. I said your company sent the phone to me . It is now 6 weeks and I have a phone that does not work. Do I blame the agents, no. I blame the suits at the top and mid-level management. I am now exploring other options, which is too bad. I was a satisfied customer for many years.

      **************** is bad Period. I've been asking for a new phone for over a year ******* a 32. Got tired of rebooting every day or So. most recent thing Was static. So they said a new phone would be coming. Instead I got a mailer With a shipping label for my old phone. I called them And explained That I needed both phones to transfer my Data. They will not send a new phuntil they get the old one. I don't know how to get to data Without it. I told them they could cut me off if they did not get the old phone back, Too stupid To figure it out. I We'll cancel them as soon as I can

      Rate Tracfone owned by ******** 0! I join the list of complaints against this company. I have been a loyal Tracfone customer over 20+years, frequently recommending them to friends and relatives, but, no longer as I am shopping today for other options.I activated a new phone and had data and service transfered over recently as well as purchased a new plan for 365 days of service for $137.** plus added a new plan to my old phone so I could go thru the gruling process of problem solving this over the phone.However, since then(over two months now) I have spent over 10 hours, 8 contact attempts, many transfers, disconnections, hang **** and promises never realized for call backs,and, the issue cannot get resolved. When upgrading in the past they simply moved the balance over and added the yearly plan time to create a new balance which I could view at will. But this time the new data for the 365 day plan did not get transferred and I am getting refill charges each month now. I want to be reimbursed for the cost of the new phone and for the 365 day plan at this point which amounts to approximately $200 plus the cost of the plan for the old phone over two months now which I had to add so I could talk to someone and look up info at sane time. Trying to get the errors on my account remedied has been a total nightmare and I've been told it cannot be resolved after over 60 attempts at providing the same information to multi agents and managers. Unbelievably poor and incompetent customer service!!

      I got a flip phone from them about ten years ago and buy a new phone card whenever I'm out of minutes. When they informed me that the phone was no longer compatible with the new system they will give me a free phone and transfer my phone number and my minutes, I had about 1700 minutes left plus a 60 minute card with a phone I purchased at Wall Mart. After several times of verifying my phone, they said that it didn't verify and refused to give me my minutes back. I had to return the phone twice and they would not refund the card, $20.00. I caught them lying about verification info and they just ignored it and acted like they didn't care. I am out of 1700 minutes they owe me and no phone service.

      Ordered a refurbished phone Dec. 5, 2022 when I received it the phone didn’t work. Sent the phone back to get a replacement and here it is Feb. 6 and I have yet to receive a phone. They refused to give me a refund because they said the initial request back in December was for a replacement and I should wait 3 to 5 business days to get a phone. I have been calling every week since Dec and each time it’s the same answer wait 3 to 5 business days. If I could give a negative star I would. Tracfone has the worst customer service.

      I purchased a phone on their website as a gift. The transaction went through and I was instantly billed. I received no email confirming the order. After multiple attempts to contact them I finally get a level 2 manager who tells me they know they charged me, but have no information regarding the purchase. She then tells me to contact PayPal to get a refund. I now have no phone, and have to go through an arbitration process to get my money back.

      Tracfone under ******* is despicable. I had a plan that was to expire on June 10, 2023.Service was cut on February 2, 2023. Their response, "Oh well."Note to self, NEVER do business with *******.******* needs to suffer now.

      My mom and I were customers for years with tracphone the service is terrible they can't access your account without the phone number and the buyers pin. Also you need the phone on hand even if it is broken or stolen and they send the text to that phone that you do not have access I give this company a poor rating and also they keep charging outlandish amount of money for phones I mentioned earlier . I humbly ask that my money gets returned to me and My mother . Thank you for your help. *****************************

      After spending more than 24 hours trying to resolve an issue with a phone/service we have had for just over 60 days, I am done. You can't do anything on their website or app. nothing. You have to call to do anything. AND It's like an endless loop of nothingness, told to reboot your phone, wipe down the *** card, and put it back in, talk to our tech (who never calls back) and the final straw was telling me that I should just have a family member figure this out of me. WHAT THE ***** I have been an iphone user for years and never not been able to resolve my phone issues. In fact, I have the same phone with another service provider and have zero issues. Let's just say, you get what you pay for OR less if you choose this provider. It's sad that they advertise such great service when clearly, they have no service to offer. I am reluctant to believe that they will refund my phone, although they said they have authorized a full refund. I have zero confidence I will see any of my money back.
