      TERRIBLE!!!! If I could give them zero stars, I would. The phones are trash and do not work well. Customer service is horrendously bad. My mom cancelled her account when the junk phone quit working years ago, but it never showed up as cancelled and they have continued to bill her every year since, even though the account was supposed to be closed. as my mom does not work a computer or a cell phone anymore, I am the one who gets to deal with this nightmare company. Hours upon hours on the phone with customer service flunkies to try to get the charges refunded and the account closed. Very difficult to even get to speak with a supervisor. Just buy an iphone and get service from a reputable provider.

      Why cant we give 0 Stars?? We've been tracfone users for 10+ years, but now they have the worse customer service. What is going on w **********************. I bought a new iphone 14 pro **** 2 days trying to transfer number. Im still waiting for a call back, its been 2 days. Agents are USELESS. I have unlimited text, ************** and an agent told me that I'm running out of minutes and she couldnt help because issues w comp. I had the same issue. She "transferred" me to a higher department and of course I was disconnected. They read from a manuscript, she repeated the same thing over and over, very hard to understand her. I could hear in the background other "agents" laughing and having a great time, that's how busy they all are? So ready to take my business to another company. DO NOT RELY ON TRACFONE, ******** WANT TO WASTE MONEY

      Terrible service is you get a phone with repeat issues. My issue was I could send text messages but could not receive them. They would fix the problem then 3-4 weeks later the problem would return. After several lengthy calls over a 3 month period to tech support regarding the new phone; TracFone still wanted to spent hours on the phone try to work ***********.

      Same as the others - had flip phone for 12 years, told it's going to end, now cannot transfer to new phone BC I don't use the old one enough to 'authenticate'. Will lose ***** paid-for minutes and my phone number. Why is this legal?? Feels a lot like outright THEFT, all those cards I purchased for so long. Returning new phone, the heck with this. Beware if you're considering them...

      I was on the phone with TracFone for well over 4 hours trying to get the phone they sent me to work. The service was horrible, and the people are hard to understand with broken English, not their falt, we all need a job. I kept explaining what the issue was and that the new phone did not work, and they just kept having me jump through the same hoops over and over. I had one-woman try to transfer me to have the phone returned and got disconnected, for two more hours I'm still trying to get back to that point. No one wants to just send me back to where I got cut off until I complete the recommended check list on how to solve the problem.

      September 7 I bought a TracFone online. Received it a week later and have been trying to get. it connected to my current telephone number that I have been using for years at TracFone. I have spent hours, days on the Internet, on the phone with their customer reps. ** phone is not yet connected to their cell service. They collect the same information every time, tell me they have run into problems, call me back after an hour or so saying they are having the same problems, etc. To no avail. What is the problem? I have plenty of time left on my current service. They have my account information. I don't know where to turn. I'd been happy for many years with their service, but now I just want my money back.

      Worst customer service ever. I have been trying to get a replacement phone since July and just keep getting different stories and disconnected when I ask for the manager. I sent them my phone back and they received it on 7/28/22 and still no replacement. They sent me another label to send my broken phone back and they are using that *** tracking number to say that I received a new phone. I cannot tell you how many times I have called them. This has be be the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. I left one star only to get this published- I would rather leave no stars

      Unbelievable. I have had Tracfone for years and been if not wildly happy with the service, ok with it. Until today. The cycle of ineptitude they've had me in today really has been jaw-dropping, even for the insane cyberspace customer disservice world we live in now. I thought Tracfone had provided the worst service ever after two hours being cycled around from one incompetent agent to the next for two hours this morning; I had called to find out what happened to the new phone I had ordered from them last week. They had charged my credit card $108 but after said two hours, no one could even find the order. I asked if they might restore the $108 but no one could do anything, and that was the end of the first two hours. So I did the only clear thing that seemed possible: went to my credit card site and opened a dispute so that I would not have to pay for what clearly I was not going to get. THEN I tried to make a phone call on my old phone. And I was in some strange system that told me I had nothing in my account and therefore no service. In fact, I had thousands of minutes and data and text in my account this morning. And now I was being told I had none. Another two hours plus, being cycled around through hapless agents who could do absolutely nothing but keep me on the phone and after 45 minutes suggest a call back; this happened four or five times -- I lost track; but I do know that absolutely nothing was done. Nothing. Oh, and the callback calls always put me on hold -- one time for 12 minutes. One wonders how we expect to be treated decently when we accept such treatment. So now I have no new phone, and no service at all, and I have been robbed of the thousands of minutes, data and text that was in my account. Tracfone has to be the worst, and in this customer service environment, that is saying something. They really should let us leave no stars for companies like this.

      The absolute worst company with whom you have to interface. They were going to send me a new SIM card since they were bought out by ******** After two weeks, I found they never sent it. In order to send it, via second request, they have to text me a code. I explained over and over that the smartphone does not work and won't I get the new SIM card. Clearly, the service representative couldn't fathom this. Over and over I asked to have the code either called to my landline or sent to my email. I don't think she understood what either of these are. Reading the instructions while I waited produced the same line: You will receive a text message on your telephone. Hard to understand and utterly, thoroughly incompetent. I just lost 100 hours of unused talk time and 6 GB of storage which doesn't expire for another year. I am so done with Tracfone and I hope no one reading this even considers using them. I just bought a new IPHONE and will use *****, which is superior in every way. TRACFONE is a rip-off and should be avoided at all costs.
