      Absolutely worthless. AVOID Tracfone like the plague. They are totally incompetent and dishonest.

      I purchased a Tracfone and minutes on June 9, 2023. The phone did not work and customer service was terrible. They did not help me with the issue. I would like a refund of the phone and minutes.

      Tracfone cancelled my service which was on auto renewal without notification before the expiration of my service while I was traveling. As a result, couldn't make calls or receive email. I contacted customer service when I returned but they only offered an apology claiming system error and that my credit card was invalid but I renewed using the same credit card so the card wasn't invalid. In addition, I renewed for a year which should start 6/22 when the service would expire but the service expiration date is now 5/22 so there cheated my out of a month of service. This is not a reliable phone service!

      I purchased a Tracfon and a card that id supposed to be good for 365 days through August **** with unlimited talk and text and **** data. The phone only works on **** and **** calling. when I leave my home the phone is uselesd for calls or otherwise unlrdd I ho to domeonrd house snd use their wifi. I have all the data left and unlimited talk and text but no working phone away from home. I have called many times and am always told the same thing to reboot. which i have fone many times and factory reset and have told them this but they still fo not help or fix the issue. **** will never buy again and they will not refund. Would choise zero star if possible.

      Very rude, very short, told me the promotions that are still advertised are expired (false advertising), refused to send to a higher up because she "already told me my solution".Awful customer service!

      Ive tried for 2 weeks to get my number to port to another company or so I can register an email to do it myself. Try say they dont recognize the 2 numbers I give them. Also do not recognize the sim number on the phone nor the ime number on the device that they sent me. Its a home phone system. They state they can send me a text -when I state its a home phone they are stumped and say there is nothing they can do. I urge everyone with a complaint to file with the ***

      The following is my latest experience: I was unable to access my TracFone account so I did chat with several representatives all of whom were unable to make any headway toward resolving the issue. One representative finally resolved the issue on May 31. I started on March 27 and thought there might just be a programming glitch so I went back to the task on April 17, gave up, and started again on May 28. On the fourth day, the problem was solved by a representative who suggested that I give her a "totally different email" which I did. Problem solved! Hurray! Fast forward to June 9, and again I can not access my account. I start poking around and find that on June 5, I received an email from Straight Talk at my "totally different email" which Straight Talk was NEVER given which congratulated me on setting up my account. I DID NOT set up any account at Straight Talk. I am convinced that somehow TracFone has shared my information to Straight Talk which I did have an affiliation with over five years ago with a home phone set up for a church food pantry. I have had nothing to do with that phone or pantry for five years+, but I would bet that my personal TracFone account has been corrupted by that old Straight Talk account which has sent me a congratulations email for setting up an account. Today's chat representative could do nothing and it seems to be impossible to contact anyone who actually knows what to do about the fact that cross sharing of information has corrupted my account. I was supposed to be called back two and a half hours ago, but I'm not naive enough to think that was ever going to happen so I'm not feeling annoyed - just disgusted that there's no place to go to fix this problem. It's absurd that TracFone can't admit to the problem and work on fixing it. I'm sad because I have had TracFones for over a decade with no issues worth mentioning. I've been pleased with the company and its service until now.

      0 Stars returned my defective phone whse received it 5/3/23 it's now. 6/8/7/23 no phone every time I call I get different info actually nothing helpful

      I purchased a refill card yesterday, to add minutes to my phone, as I have been doing consistantly, regularly, and easily, for at least 2 years. When I attempted to add the minutes to my phone yesterday, it was unsuccessful. I called the ***** number to resolve the issue. The person I spoke with is named ****. **** claims to be the manager at this branch. The entirety of the time **** and I were on the phone, she insisted that I had already used the minutes I had purchased 24 hours prior. No attempt to correct the issue, resolve the matter, or any attempt to satisfy the customer. **** would then go on to talk over me, interrupt me, repeat the same response they had given me several times already. I explained to ****, I was not trying to reactivate an old phone, activate a brand new phone line, or anything similar. This was an issue of a simply refill gone wrong. By the end of the phone call I was agitated, disrespected, talked over, interrupted, and essentially was told nothing could be done. ****, did not, once, ever give the impression or have the attitude or personality of someone given the role of Manager. I would be embaressed to have a person in a position meant to help people, give quality assurance to your customers, be someone like ****. I was so displeased with our call, that I will be filing complaints against them in every facet available. A simple apology from TracFone will not suffice the level of disrespect, inconsideration, callousness, and overall displeasure I had speaking with ****. The rudeness and lack of compassion, lack of caring at all, is enough for me to consider not purchasing anything from TracFone again. If the way this person spoke to me, is any indication of how this business is run, some serious managament rearrangement needs to happen. I will be telling everyone I know about this experience, and will personally suggest to each person, to stop all business with TracFone immediately. This is not how you treat customers. Do better.

      *(0 Star Rating, They force you to at least put 1) Tracfone promotes a product that is deceiving in nature. They don't tell you that you need Wi-Fi to activate it until after it's bought. Then they ask you for a phone number. I told them I don't have one that's why I am buying the phone in the first place. They make you feel like it's a quick way out of a contract phone but it's not. I was not able to activate the phone after buying it and putting minutes on it. Then I gave it one more shot by calling one last time and they told me I had to add more money! I spend hours on the phone with customer service to no avail. When you ask them to transfer you or for any information they tell you they can't do that. So I was basically scammed. Then they tried to extort more $ for the icing on the cake. Unbelievable.
