      If I could give less than one star I would. This service is the worst. I'm supposed to have unlimited talk text and data but I only got 4 gb of data. I call and get hung up on. I go to the chat they literally disconnect my service to hang up the chat. They fix nothing just hang up on you or just keep transferring you. The amount of disrespect you receive is the worst. They don't help they just make you more and more angrier. Do not use there service.

      Tracfone has become one of the worst corporations in the ****. Previous to their "upgrade" last year, the Tracfone I had would give the Service End Date and Remaining Minutes on my Tracfone telephone screen when I turned the phone on. It was FREE OF CHARGE!! No minutes were deducted from my account. Since their upgrade, it costs us money, in the form of minutes deducted from accounts, to call their 611 number to request this basic account ***** **** costs us money again, in the form of minutes deducted from accounts, for them to text the info to us. So customers have to pay to get basic info such as Service End Date &/or Remaining Minutes.I called Tracfone & asked if there's a way to get the Service End **************** Minutes calling from a landline. They said they'd have to text me an "Authentication Code" before they can check into it, again, costing us more money, which makes NO SENSE since they require a 'Security Code' be set up on the account. So, if everything has to be 'authenticated' with a text message that costs the customers money to receive, what's the point of requiring a Security Code on the account if it's never used? It's a SCAM so customers will think the Security Code that they're required to set up will be useful, when in fact, Tracfone requires an Authentication Code that costs the customer money.The new charges for basic account info that were FREE OF CHARGE before their "upgrade" were NEVER MENTIONED to us, the customers, when they required us to "upgrade". I'm sure it's written in small print on some obscure page on their website, as if that's proper CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION. And I'm sure it's all barely 'legal'. I seriously doubt most people even realize that Tracfone is charging them every time they send us any kind of communication via their own cell phones.This needs to STOP IMMEDIATELY!!! It's definitely NOT ******************* as it is MOST DEFINITELY 'CUSTOMER RIP-OFF'!!!And no, you cannot speak to a supervisor or manager!!

      If I can give a Negative 5, I would. They Shut my phone off after only 11 days of the 30 day, PAID Service. I tried to pay for service after the 30 days was up, only to be asked to "troubleshoot" my son's phone. I am at work, the phone is at home with my son. Then they proceeded to ask for a code they texted to my son's phone, Once again I am at work, I told them this, they suggested I CALL HIM or MESSAGE HIM TO GET IT?!?!?! WHAT? His phone isn't working that is why I tried to pay for a new monthly plan!

      After a month of 'tech support' unable to get my new Tracfone to work, they said to return it and they would replace it with a new one. After waiting another month they sent me a refurbished phone demanding a new phone that I was promised. They claimed that they couldn't send a new phone because it was more than 15 days ... I tried to explain over and over again with numerous ****************** Reps but my comments fell on deaf ears. I returned the phone (unopened) and, after ANOTHER month or so they refunded me for the phone but wouldn't reimburse me for unused portion of annual contract (which is not supposed to be a contract) - I had used it from August to November when I had my old phone but, obviously, was told that because I used a portion of contract they couldn't reimburse me for the unused portion. So warning to everyone and anyone who plans on using Tracfone.

      They have the worst customer service ever. My father in law has been trying to activate a new phone with his same number for months now and no one will help him. They shut his old phone off because its not compatible with the new network. They wont let him transfer his number to the new phone because they cant verify him. Its an endless circle of games they keep playing with him and have for weeks now. Absolutely ridiculous.

      If there's less than one ? that's my pick for this company - ?,they shouldn't be in business..,You can't have a conversation with anybody without getting a high blood pressure, can't wait to get out people be aware of this company!!Thanks Frostereted Customer

      I recently (about 3 weeks ago) bought a Orbic magic 5G phone directly from Tracfone. The phone was free if I signed up for unlimited 1 year service for $200. The phone had problems right from the start. ****** maps did not work and ****** Play store did not work. I contacted them and they could not resolve the issues. Then on July 8th, I took my phone out and it was locked up in emergency mode totally. I chatted (because I could not call) with about 6 or 7 different associates and none of them (some were rude and cut me off) could resolve the issue leaving the new phone useless. I bought another phone and tried to activate it and was told it needed verifying by sending a text message. I said sending a text message was useless because the old phone was locked up. They again were rude and cut off the conversation. So I was left with no phone service. I asked how I could return the phone and get a refund, but again, I was cut off, So I'm out about 9 months of paid for service and another year of service I paid $200 for.

      I recently purchased a Tracfone, added a month's worth of minutes and was expecting to use this phone primarily for emergency calls. Once the month ended, my phone was disconnected....Since it didn't require a contract and was told my unused minutes could carryover, I just assumed that if I needed more minutes, I could simply add them as needed. However, that is not true.....I called Tracfone and they told me that I now needed a "plan" and to pay so much every month or once a year if I didn't want to have my service terminated every month. Sounds like I do need a contact and that my minutes DO NOT carryover as advertised. Isn't this considered "FALSE ADVERTISING"....Obviously, I am not happy with Tracfone......and don't recommend them to anyone looking for inexpensive phone service.......

      Company uses false advertising. They claim minutes, texts and data roll over to a new phone if you buy a new phone from them. We bought a new phone from Tracfone to replace our original Tracfone, but ALL minutes, texts and data disappeared. Called customer service twice making requests to have them restored. They would not restore.
