      Avoid this company.Our *** entered into an agreement in Jan of 2023 after it bought out our previous management company, Advanced Realty Management. We quit on Dec 31, 2023 at the end of the one year agreement.-From the start they were consistently late in their monthly finance reports to us, sometimes more than a month. They were late in paying our vendors as well in some cases.-They are very expensive. When we shopped around we found other local companies for a cheaper price. Their service was terrible.-Despite a "local" office in ********, they are NOT local. Their headquarters is in ** and all contracts and any checks they write to the *** or individual need to come from there. They are very slow.-Once we decided we were leaving and wanted to move money from our checking and savings account controlled by ******************** it was very difficult and time consuming with multiple emails and calls. We took the amounts out in 3 increments, Our first was 10K. In our second increment, they only wrote a check for 7K instead of the 10K we had asked for- despite us still having approximately 10K as a buffer in their accounts -When they provided final records we saw our final increment of checks had been written on Jan 10th BUT the local office would not say they had them. It took a call to ** after which on the 25th we finally picked up the checks.It was just a terrible experience from beginning to end. I am surprised they are licensed to do business in ****.

      After our contract expired with Sentry, we switched to another large company for our condo complex. Sentry agents had to be reminded again and again to fix things and few things were getting fixed. Our new management company is exasperated by trying to get either the start up funds or all funds in order to pay our bills! They have been trying for over a month. They have asked Sentry to pay the bills in the meantime to no avail. Sadly, we have just found out that Sentry did not pay our insurance and we are in jeopardy of losing that. Our insurance agent called to tell us this tidbit. When I call the longwood office they transfer me and I sit on hold for over 60 minutes without anyone ever coming back on the line. This has happened again and again for weeks. This is not just the ********** office, but the *************** as well. I couldnt get through to the ******** office either. No one calls back, they dont email, they dont the phone. Im truly floored.

      We had a property management company that did not provide the service for which we contracted. That company is Sentry Management. Their services were useless. We employed them in October 2022. They had purchased Advanced ***************** Realty was our Property Management for almost 20 years. The next year was a total nightmare; Sentry's reports were late, they didn't pay our vendors timely, sometimes 2-3 months after the services were performed; they incorrectly figured our increase in homeowners dues so that some residents were payment too much and some were paying too little. We hired a new property manager on November 1, 2023, and they discovered the error in the amount of homeowner's dues. It took them several months to get the records from Sentry, and then they were incomplete. I would not recommend this company to any other HOA or condo association. Thank you. *****

      I have lived in ************** of Flying Cloud subdivision since August ****. Sentry Management has always provided excellent customer service. I will say a lot of why Stillwater is one of the most popular subdivisions in the Oviedo area has to do with Sentry Management and their dedicated associates. I also need to mention a very important associate ************************** without her endless knowledge of ************** are managed Stillwater would just be another bah subdivision, instead home values are at an all-time high. Home sells in record time and at record prices. Thank you. ************************** for all you do for Stillwater of Flying Cloud. ***********************************

      Mismanagement of HOA funds. We live in *** ******** in Auburn, Al. They have done nothing but devalue the neighborhood. They maintain nothing. The bridge is falling apart. The pond has built up so much silt the north end looks like a sandbar. Parking lot lights are out at the clubhouse and have been for almost 2 years. All of this has been reported multiple times to Jodi. Nothing has been done. They decided this week to send letters out increasing our HOA dues 33% and $300 of that is due January 1st. No justification to increase. Sentry is a joke and a crook

      I have worked with numerous property, management companies and Sentry Management is among the experts. Together, we have been having a difficult time with a project, but they have been there side by side with me and the property manager . I appreciate the extra teeth and applaud them for their insight. I look forward to continuing relationship with them.

      This review is related to a series of concerning incidents involving Sentry Management and the ********** ********** *********** (HOA), which indicate violations of Maryland HOA laws and raise questions about a potential conflict of interest. The details of the situation are as follows:
      The dispute originated from a virtual budget meeting held on November 09, 2023. Despite being provided with the 2024 proposed budget, a letter detailing mandatory increased assessments, and the meeting invite, homeowners expressed concerns during the meeting about insufficient information to make an informed decision.
      The Board adjourned the meeting and indicated that we would reconvene December 6, 2023. Requests for essential documents, including the financial statement that was read aloud by Sentry Management Community Manager, Jeff ***** were made.
      On November 10, 2023, one day after the budget meeting, I formally requested copies of all 2023 bank statements, all 2023 invoices, the 2024 proposed budget, and the treasurer's report. In response, Jeff ***** indicated there would be a 21-day delay in providing the requested information. Despite my request for expedited delivery and electronic provision, the documents were only provided on December 1, 2023.
      Upon inquiring about missing invoices, Jeff ***** began copying his direct supervisor, LaShauna *******, on our email exchanges. When questioned about this, Ms. ******* asserted that her involvement was due to her role as Jeff's direct supervisor. This situation presents a troubling conflict of interest, as Ms. ******* is not only a Sentry Management employee but also a former board member of Palmerwood HOA and remains a current homeowner of Palmerwood HOA.
      My primary complaint revolves around Sentry Management's violation of Maryland HOA laws concerning the timely provision of financial documents and a clear conflict of interest by allowing a former board member to create barriers to accessing to vital financial documents.

      Our community has worked with Sentry for many years! Lindsey Thigpen is our community manager and she is absolutely amazing! She has worked on many large projects for our community and she has made sure to follow through on each one. These projects wouldn’t be possible without her dependability and commitment to our community.
      Although I’m sure she manages tons of communities, she takes the time out to make us feel like we are her top priority. Lindsey is dedicated, honest and always has the communities best interest at heart. We are very lucky to have such an incredible community manager!
