Never again!!! This shoddy company is holding a pending $500 "SECURITY DEPOSIT" 9 days after I returned the car in good condition. There is no way to contact the customer service department by telephone. No matter which contact number that I called, I was directed to send an email. I can use the same number of characters to give a negative Yelp review. Even that won't affect its rating which is already in the toilet.

I was charged one thing online and was charged an additional $80 for a one day rental. They also charge a service charge to my card and said they would release it after 3 days, it didnt come and then when I reached out to customer service they told me 7 to 10 days. With no compromise. I would not recommend them. The car was fine but I cant trust them again.

One-Switch Car Rental is Bait and Switch. Plan misrepresentation and untruthful operations.I rented here through Priceline.com which has served me well in the past. However, THis One-Switch ****************** operates a bait-and-switch scheme. I rented from "York" but they are all run by One-Switch. I arrived and gave them my driver's license and credit card that I paid with. They claim that they did not have me in the system even though I had checked in on your website and uploaded photos of my id.I watched as others had problems with card details. I thought I was lucky to have such a great travel credit card and would not have their problems. Then it started. They claimed that my Executive Global Citi Card did not have coverage for vehicle damage. The front desk person claimed that he had the exact same card and that it did not cover damages to renters. It is unlikely that anyone would pay $xxx for a card membership unless they travel by American Airlines as much as me, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He was not able to show me his card. I called up my cards concierge service and asked them to explain to me what was going on through the speaker phone because things like benefits change happen. The Citi CS explicitly said that the card would cover damages to the vehicle. The car rental person still refused. to accept my rental and said that I had to pay for the additional $48 per day insurance. Again, I finally asked the Citi representative to explain to the car rental person in one line what was covered. The Citi representative explained in one sentence, yes the card would cover damages up to $75,000. Finally, the one-switch car rental guy presented a Preprinted waiver form for me to sign. The whole ordeal wasted 45 minutes of my day. I only rented the car for 6 hours.

Took $1000 off my card without authorization. A month after my vacation ended. No one call and notified me of the charge what so ever. I guess they are ************ themselves to others hard earned money.

If it could be less than one star they would definitely get it. Off site pickup even though I put in *************, off site drop off even though I said ************** airport drop off, the paperwork they gave me had the incorrect address to drop off so I drove around for 25 minutes and finally found the place, all of this while trying to contact customer service who was busy. I was charged a ton of extra fees and a $500 deposit that still hasnt been refunded after 8 days.

What a scam, do not rent from One Switch. The car I rented ended up with a flat tire, I called customer service and was told I didnt have coverage (even though I was charged for some other coverage upon pick-up) for a flat tire and it was my responsibility to have the donut put on and then bring the car back to the rental center, which I did. They replaced the car and placed another deposit on my card for a total of $1,000 in deposits. I received an email today saying that Im responsible for replacing the tire at $298 for a Michelin brand tire, the tire that was on the car was a ********** I looked it up and its $122. Thank goodness I took pictures. This isnt over, Im gonna fight them over this, In the meantime stay away from One Switch

Absolutely awful!! They have horrible customer service! Beware! Take a video of every inch of the car you rent BEFORE you even get in. Make sure to get the parking space number, license plate number, windows, bottom of the car if you can, and even the top of the car, and wheels and tires . Take pictures, write down every scratch, dent, scuff marks, everything!! They will try to blame you for everything and charge you for it. Dont, and I repeat, Dont give them an actual credit card. Give them you bank card. They will try to say they cant use that, but they eventually will. Stand your ground!! This is the shadiest rental car company Ive ever dealt with! Stay away if you can!!

One switch lures you in with a low price, then charges extras that makes it a ****... Don't rent from One Switch. I am covered by my Canadian insurance so I declined insurance coverage. One switch recognized my insurance... but still charged us 20 USD per day!! Which means it would have been cheaper with another car rental company... which is definitely what I will be doing next time!

This company ruined my life Not even worth any stars.First I rented the car off Expedia because I got a great deal i then called them because I wanted to use my car insurance they said sure just bring your insurance card and deceleration letter so I did. I get to the counter no sorry mam we dont take your insurance you have to buy ours that cost ****** with a ***** deductible. I take the car and 5 days later during a huge rain storm huge puddles everywhere no way to not drive through it water got into the engine all the lights came the check engine light the oil light and the battery light on the dash. Q and the car stopped right in the middle of major intersection I couldnt move it I was getting honked at I immediately turned off my car and called the rental company they said I would need to call a 3rd party tow company to get the car because it was my fault but then they changed their tune when they heard my sister saying I should call corporate and report them and so dont worry mam we will send someone out to you at no cost to you. I am able to safely move the car again to get out of the major intersection and someone came about 30 mins later with a new car. The ***************** assured me that I was given a car that was on its way out and it wasnt given the proper checks. He said take the new car and return it at your rental return day. So I did I was told I would be getting a new rental agreement they never sent one. I return two days later to bring the new car. I ask about the other car they say they havent heard anything but to worry ****** said this wasnt your fault you wont be charged this wasnt your fault I will speak fo my manager **** here is my contact info. I get back home and two days later I find they charged me $***** and then again $4,000 it was hold for those amounts I tried to call corporate because they said they couldnt find my reservation or any record that I even rented from them.

I recently rented a car, actually 2 cars from one switch. Arriving at their center the first three customers were denied their cars despite having online reservations. That made me worried. And made the customers extremely upset. When I rented a car they said it would be a $1000 deposit with a credit card (and good credit), which worries me at first, but it just a deposit. Its been over a month dealing with their customer service and they still owe me the $1000. If youre going with offsite rentals in *****, I urge you not to use them. The extra $100 to get from the airport will save you money and stress in the long run.
