  This is a terrible car rental company. They are essentially a ****. They have designed their business to be technically legal, but a terrible experience intentionally. 1) They do not make it clear online (at the time of the reservation) that they have very strict / unusual insurance requirements. They force you to show proof of insurance when you try to pickup the vehicle in person. They only accept insurance from certain insurance companies. Since most people are not prepared to provide proof of insurance on the spot, they insist you purchase their insurance, which dramatically increases the cost of the rental. They do indicate their odd insurance requirements, but it is buried in the fine print of their agreement. 2) They list themselves as available to be picked up at the MIA airport, but actually you have to take a shuttle to a location several blocks away in a strange / unsafe area. They do indicate this, but it is buried in the fine print of their agreement. 3) The customer service is extremely slow and obtuse. They make most customers wait outside, allowing only one or two customers inside at a time so that the customers waiting don't learn about the ****. They take about 15 - 30 minutes to process each reservation (since they're asking for proof of insurance and most people try to search for an email on their phone or call their insurance company). I waited over an hour (only 3 people in front of me) to approach the desk at which point the employee attempted to antagonize me into an argument. When I tried to call my insurance company he told me I was taking too long and asked me to go to the back of the line. 4) They use several brand names (One Switch, Next Car, ) and several address to obscure their business. This makes it harder for people to write / find reviews, report them to the BBB, etc.

  They basically insisted on taking out car insurance which was triple the price of the car rental or they said the car was not available.......

  Terrible rental car company. I used the *************** location, and the customer service was just horrible. There was a small chip in the windshield and I was like I will leave my insurance information and we should be able to get this squared away. I was at the office for an additional 2.5 hours. You would've thought that I brought the car back with no windshield. The whole outfit is a hustle and sham run by amateur's.

  Worst customer service. I will never rent a car from here again. Besides being charge more than what I paid online, the merchant also placed a $500 preauthorized hold on my credit card. This was on 10/7/2022; the car was return in the same condition given on 10/10/2022. Its now 10/19/2022; I have tried two time to resolve this issue with the merchant and the preauthorized hold has not been released. This is highly unacceptable!

  One Switch aka ****************************** The Agent told me in the hearing of my girlfriend and the other customers that he would allow me 80 miles per day instead of the measly 50 miles per day allowed ******* (local) renters. Four (4) days after returning the car I received an email saying I would be charged for the additional miles. ***** are actually 3 different car rentals operating from that ***************************************************************** location. If you choose to rent get everything in writing. I will NEVER rent from them again
