  At the counter, I paid $160.00 for not having less than $500 deductible, next day when I called the manager, *******, he said I had to pay the deductible waiver because my was not because my deductible were greater than $500, instead, I was paying it because my liability insurance was not between $100,000 and $300,000,Nowhere in your policy and rules provided to the client from Priceline when booking this is maybe clear. Not even their staff is sure about what I am paying for!! ****

  I must tell you that they are the worst. I wish I could give no stars. I only gave one because of the car I got. I reserved with an **************** card days before. When I got to the counter they told me I couldnt use the card. I know exactly why. Because with my Amex card Im fully covered and dont need to pay for insurance for the rental. Amex covers me fully. They know this so they dont accept the Amex so that you have to pay for their insurance. You must have 300k of collision insurance for your own car to have their insurance waived. Im currently going to litigate on them. They shouldnt allow you to reserve a rental if theyre not accepting that same card at the counter. Beware of what you will pay at that rental place. Dont be fooled by the cheap rate for their rental cars

  I rented an economy car from MEX Rent a Car on 10/6 to be returned on 10/10. With all applicable add-ons, the total cost of my rental was $119, but for a reason not explained to me the security deposit was $1000. I have never, EVER been charged such an obscenely high deposit. It is usually $250, and since they are a small company I expected $500 but requiring $1000 without forewarning is outrageous. Luckily I was able to cover it, but as of this writing, it is 10/22 and that $1000 hold has still not been released from my credit card. Even though the car clean and in good condition, and the rate was affordable I wont be using them again.

  This is a horrible rental car facility. Not only is the service poor but their policies are unbelievable. They have excessive fees and unreasonable rules. They ended up taking $2500 out of my account for a rental car that wouldve cost me A fraction of that from another car rental facility

  I wish I read this before I rented a car from here. TERRIBLE service. First the website said they had a shuttle from the airport to the rental car center. When I arrived and called for a pickup I was informed that no one was available for a pickup and that I should just walk "it's only a mile and a half." Yes, I walked, a mile and a half in meeting attire down a highway. I was already pretty upset when I got in and they said they had NO RECORD of my rental or paying for a rental online. Finally after nearly 20 minutes and assuring them I would not pay again, a miracle happened and my reservation just happened to appear. Finally. then I was told I needed $1000 deposit to rent the car. I have never put a $1000 deposit down for a car rental, when I asked how long the hold would remain I was informed 2-3 weeks. I WAS RENTING THE *** FOR 6 HOURS TO ATTEND A MEETING. Whatever. Fine give me the car I have to go to the meeting. Instead of giving me the keys, the guy at the desk gave the keys to a worker who took the keys brought me outside and he hopped in THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE AND LEFT. I WAITED 1 HOUR OUTSIDE FOR A *** FOR AN ATTENDENT WHO LEFT IN THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE THEY DON'T HAVE. When I walked back inside I was just yelled at to wait outside. I waited outside for about an hour and a half, later I missed the main meeting I had come down for and was getting super frustrated that I was not getting answers I walked back inside again and was yelled at to leave, finally they gave me the keys to a different car and told me not to come back inside. When I went to return the car later in the day I wanted to have documentation that the car I was renting was returned because it was a different car than what was on my rental agreement. THEY WILL NOT REFUND MY DEPOSIT BECAUSE THE *** I RETURNED DOES NOT MATCH WHAT THEY PUT ON THE RENTAL AGREEMENT. This company is a scam. DO NOT USE.

  AVOID THIS RENTAL COMPANY I rented a car with their MEX Rent A Car chapter at the ************* off site on *************** first red flag was the shuttle driver, who was watching football on his phone while driving, the phone propped up on the steering wheel. He ran a red light. He had the audacity to demand tips from me and the other passenger when he picked us up, complaining and degrading the couple he dropped off because they didnt tip. The process for renting from this company is questionable to say the least. They want the details of your auto insurance or that you rent with a card that covers the rental, and have restrictions on selling you their coverage based on the State that issued your Drivers License and require a ****** for deposit that you may not ever see again. They will take a catalog of photos and videos of the car, before and after the rental and if you question their actions they will ignore or bully you. The driver refused to let me board the van to ride *******************, suggesting I take an Uber! These people operate like a mob, can be very unprofessional, and are absolutely sketchy. Dont get sucked in by the cheap price or any shred of recommendation. RUN AWAY, pay the cost for better, ****************** from a reliable, professional rental company even if costs 3x as much. You will regret dealing with this poor quality company.

  Read the reviews before renting. A very bad experience. Will not go back. Make you buy insurance that I have never had to buy before. Do not rent from this company.

  I would suggest never to use one switch. 1. When you go and ask the f your taking their insurance they make you show proof you have some. Which would be fine if they told you before to bring proof., but if you pick the rental car at 7am and you live across the country where there is a 3 hour difference. Same would apply on the weekend, and you get stuck paying the $40 a day insurance.2. I was originally told I would pay $180.00 for low air pressure in the car when I dropped it off, and when I disputed it and told them I looked for a nail or puncture and there was none in the tire they told me it would instead be $40.00 because the rental was in my possession when the air pressure went low. I argued further saying that if the oil light went on while it was in my possession would I have to pay for the oil change?. They would never call me after repeated requests, and stopped responding to my emails.3. Yesterday they attempted to charge my credit card $500.00 and when I sent another email with my previous bill paid in full they withdrew the charge. This company looks to take advantage of people. Beware

  Every person in front of me had a problem so I knew I was doomed from there. They charged me a ***** a day fee for using a debit card the same card I used to pay for the car through TripAdvisor. After getting to our hotel, I later find out from someone that was behind us in line that they were charged a flat ***** fee to use their debit card. I had to ask the agent to NOT speak in Spanish when speaking to someone about our situation because I didn't know Spanish. The agent was very rude and acted like she didn't want to answer the questions that I had about the reservations. When spending my money, I can ask as many questions as I want to, because it's my money. The agent passed my transaction to another agent and said she was off for the day. I have posted my complaint on every platform available and advised TripAdvisor about the situation and suggested that they take this HORRIBLE rental business off of their platform. This was a horrible way to start a vacation and i hope and pray that anyone who needs to rent a car read the reviews beforehand, I sure wish I had of it would have saved me a lot of headache and time which you can't get back. BEWARE

  TERRIBLE!!!!!! Save yourself and go to a different company. This company is a scam and they try to make you buy their insurance by denying your fully covered car because you don't have their limit liability coverage amount of $300,000!!! I left the place right then and there and they still charged me for rental. They also charged my 2x for the same rental on the same day. DO NOT BOOK with ONE SWITCH!!!
