      Worst customer service. My flight was canceled less than 24 hours prior to take off, then rebooked to arrive 3 hours later than scheduled. I called the customer service number to modify the time for pick up and change the flight number (all calls are outsourced to a foreign country) and the representative CANCELED MY ENTIRE RESERVATION. I was told I'd receive an email confirmation about the changes. A half an hour later with no communication, I check the reservation which states it was canceled. When I spoke to another representative, they offered to give me another reservation at $200 more than what I have paid. HORRIBLE. If I could give negative stars, I would do so!!!

      NEVER AGAIN TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE…!!!!. My 1st time renting from Hertz. Same day First car they try to give me smelled like B.O. 2nd car was partially charged this is at Wpb rental Im going to Orlando 21/2 hours away. Third car seatbelt jammed needed the mechanic to fix it. I get on the highway 2022 Honda Accord breaks down 13 miles down the road. I pull off hwy call rental office NO answer. I cal their tow truck service number get a person. 3 hours later in 95* Fl heat I get towed back to rental place. Im promised a full refund. 1 month later n 3 different agents later told me they will send me the refund. I get aPARTIAL refund an told me they have to charge me a days rental fee bc I drove the car off the LOT it is company’s policy!

      Rented a vehicle at Hertz from the Sacramento International airport. I was mistakenly charged a $200 fee for an Interior clean. The car was dropped off clean and I have rented cars in the past from this location without an issue. Although, this time I was charged a $200 fee with will not be refunded. I can say that from now on they have lost my business and I will be choosing another company for my rental car needs. I wouldn't recommended anyone using Hertz as they have terrible customer service.

      Horrendous customer service!!!! I give them ZERO STARS- they are not worth even one star! Given a car with zero oil life, bald tires, key fob needed new batteries and very, very difficult to get someone on phone. I lost 4 days of my vacation trying to resolve the issues as well as myself and 3 children put in harms way with a car that should not have been driven out of the rental lot. I was given the run around about who could help me with compensation. When I finally got someone in phone from Customer Service they said the only one to give compensation is the location where you drop the car off. That was LAX Airport who said the only one to help you is Customer Service. It was a big rigamarole- everyone passing the buck and NO ONE to help me. HERTZ Company

      Worst customer service they dont even try to help. I got to the location the day to pick up the car I rented supposedly online when I got there they told me that the car was already rented to someone else. The worst experience with this rental company.

      Car was just ok and was clean but didn't seem anywhere near new. Customer Service was horrific at this location on essington ave in Philadelphia PA. They two employees spoke to each other and payed me no mind. They even gave my reciept to the person who was with me instead of me. Its not the Hertz I used to rent from.

      Nissan Altima was rented for 4 days from June 15th to June 19th in Tampa Airport. Morning of return, realized key was lost for the car. Reached out to customer service to notify Hertz and they explained it would be a $250.00 charge. CS Rep directed us to have car delivered to a different location off site from return address to check out. Car was towed by our insurance company 2 hours late, day of return. Not only did Hertz add in an additional $250.00 on the bill for towing when we used our own insurance. They charged us four extra weeks as the car was received in on July 13th totaling $2016.00 even with proof of documentation from our insurance and towing company showing the car was delivered on June 19th. The saddest part about all this is. No one in customer service or billing. No one, can answer why the car sat on the lot for four weeks until someone finally decided to scan the vehicle in. The only explanation is. The car was returned on July 13. More than likely the on site employees are trying to cover their asses of being lazy not doing their job. The towing company even said their job is to scan every single car that is brought in daily which they don't do. Rather than have the chance to profit over a 10-12 year span on revenue of $10,000-$15,000 per customer on weekly rentals. These fools to stupid to realize that and screw over customers time and time again. Can't see the forest because of the tree. Never again.

      They do not keep track of their contracts nor provide copies of them upon request. They have violated Arizona code by not providing a receipt upon request. If your rental ends up in an accident kiss your belongings goodbye. You will not be able to retrieve them

      They charged me for having the car after I returned it. Booking.com will not help me and Dollar Rental/Hertz just sends me back the the main phone lines. They charged me for 11 days I did not have this car. One of there employees did not check it back in after I returned the car. I will never use Booking.com or Dollar/Rental again. I am in collection now. It affected my credit. This is FRAUD. I sent a claim in to consumer protection in *********** ******* twice. No one ever got back to me.

      I will NEVER AGAIN reserve a car from this location. Last week I was moving my son into University of Utah from San Clemente and reserved a Tahoe sized vehicle for $800+ from this Hertz location (1 month early). My reservation carried a significant cost premium for the extra large vehicle, but due to the amount and size of what I needed to transport, this sized vehicle was required. My pick-up time was at 5:00. At 3:00 I called to confirm they were all set with my rental. When I called they informed me that the only vehicle they had for me was a mid-sized SUV, which wasn't going to meet my needs (plus I'd be paying twice the cost of that size vehicle). The only remedy they gave me was to call the Hertz 800 number and try to find a different vehicle (the size of what I reserved). After 1 hour and 55 minutes of unsuccessfully working to resolve this on the phone with Hertz, we realized we had 5 minutes to show up for our 5:00 pick-up time to pick up the only car we could find. My wife called to give them a heads up that we would be there right at 5:00 or 1-2 minutes late and not to leave. They informed us that they were already closing and that they wouldn't be open at 5:00. When I challenge them leaving and asked to talk with a manager, they put me on hold without saying a word. While we waited on hold we drove 5 minutes to their office and arrived at 5:02. WE WERE STILL ON HOLD AND THEY ALL LEFT FOR THE DAY. Hours later, Enterprise car rental was able to find a car for us. If it wasn't for them coming through for us, I would completely stuck. This was supposed to be an amazing day in my sons college journey and thanks to Hertz, it became a frustrating disaster and their lack of service made it infinitely worse. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
