      Horrible company! They lied and said that my husband could be an additional driver with no extra charge, so I signed the contract for the additional driver. Now they are trying to charge me 135$ for him who never even drove the car. Customer service was no help they said you signed it so there is nothing we can do. Ridiculous. Never will I use their services again! And I will tell everyone my story.

      I have been scammed by their 3rd party. Thrifty charged me for insurance when I advised I already have insurance! Then I was told by the 3rd party affiliated Car Rental 8, I have to wait to return the car before I can request my money back When I returned the car, I was still rejected my money back! I was told I’d receive 100% insurance money back and ONLY received 50% I would like my remaining 34.99 plus tax and the remaining over the fuel charge!

      Wonderful speedy service in East *****. Other companies would make reservations and not have a car for me when I arrived. I called Hertz in the same market area and they had a selection waiting for me.

      My insurance company arranged this rental while my car was being repaired. The guy at the shop told me there would be a $50 deposit, when I went in 3 days later to pick it up he said there would be a $200 deposit. When I got home there was a debit on my card for $343. When I got in the car there was a low tire, the windshield was so frosted over when the sun hit you could not even see from the glare. There was only two and a half gallons of fuel in the car which was confirmed by filling it up. The seats look like someone had played soccer in them from all the stains. After I got home I decided to check under the hood, the oil was full the radiator Reservoir was completely empty and it took a gallon and a half of windshield washer fluid to fill it up. Not a very good way to run a business. Sorry to be so negative because I usually like to compliment everyone but if you don't know about a problem you cannot correct it so this is just a heads up.

      If I could give them a zero, I would **** I rent it from Hertz ************ location was given one price for a SUV. When I got there, they gave me an electric .I could give them a zero, I would **** I rent it from Hertz ************ location was given one price for a SUV. When I got there, they gave me an electric car which I knew nothing about. And cannot drive I went back in and asked for SUV told him that I was handicap and could not drive an electric car after waiting for an hour. The young lady there who is very nice. ********* did exchange my vehicle and because I was very nice gave me a discount Wants to return my car and got home. I received an additional bill for $361. I had all my receipts even the cancel receipt explaining my situation. They refunded me back $200 but told me I was responsible for the 137 due to my cancellation of the first car , do not rent from Hertz rental car. They do not keep their word and they rip offs. I am searching for a lawyer at this moment I have written corporate via email. I have not gotten a response yet I will continue to post. Do not rent from Hertz rental car. You will be sorry..

      I was charged a bogus cleaning fee for dog fur while on a business trip. Was in a rush (as most people are on business) and they said theyd send the receipt via email so had no idea they were pulling this scam. I contacted Hertz (they make it hard to find a real person) and they had me send a email. Its been months and no response. Beware of bogus charges and make sure you have them sign off on a receipt while you are present when returning a car. Wont be using them again. Uber or Lyft it is! If you look online, this is a new ***** thing the rental agencies are pulling.

      The ammount of stars should be the biggest red ***** in the world reader and renter be warned.!The worst of the worst in rental car companies I mean how hard is it to have good customer service it's the worst place and the customer service line is a nightmare and no one in the company is ever helpful clear your day schedule because the place is worse then the dmv if your time is worth money then you will lose a whole day they don't care they don't give a **** about your time you would think they would be adjusted but they hire the worst people they are bottom of the barrel at everything there's a reason the ****** rating is trash because the company is trash and if the phone people say you can do something they don't care they WORST OF THE WORST. I've never put in a ****** review but this place is enough of an exception. If there was a picture of trash next to the definition in the dictionary this would be it.

      I wish I could give zero stars. Worst customer service ever. I reserved a ********************** a couple of months in advance. Called day off to ask if I could pick it up a couple of hours early. Arrived at the airport only to be told all of our minivans were recalled and we couldnt keep them any longer (Im not even sure what this means). When I asked what kind of vehicle Id be getting, she unapologetically told me they had no other vehicle for me. I asked why I want notified and she said that upset management doesnt allow them to notify customers of changes to reservations. TERRIBLE customer service. I stepped over to the Enterprise counter (they heard the entire exchange) and left with my rental 10 minutes later! Enterprise saved my trip and was ***** cheaper!

      Horrible Company. Rented at *** airport location. I accepted the fuel charge and declined the extra insurance as my credit card covers that. during the digital signing process they slipped in the extra charges. at a food stop 2 hours into the 4 hour drive I noticed the extra charges. I immediately called Hertz customer service let them know I did not want the charges. The Hertz rep said this was a franchise location and I have to call the location directly. He did open a case # with the dispute and he also tried to call the location for me. No answer. Over the next 3 days I tried to call the location 20+ times but they never answer the phone. I am sure this is by design. Upon return I explained the issue and the case # I opened. I also showed them on my iPhone how many times I tried to call them to resolve. I asked the manager if they ever answered the phone. He became combative about the charge. The folks were so rude. I asked to speak to the manager and they said no. I called Hertz customer service again and they said they would look into it and call back. Never got a call back from Hertz corporate. Never renting from them again. would give them 0 stars if that was an option

      Absolute **** Over charged me in ****** for a car rented for 3 days. The insurance they added on was almost double, along with the extra day of charges, and they refused to make it right. The customer service was horrible. The charges were not agreed to and they refused to return that over charged day. Never using Hertz again.
