      I’m currently in a distressing life threatening situation due to the lack of transparency of both hertz and Expedia . My bank account is frozen , I was denied a car even after being confirmed with reference number a car pick up my job is in jeopardy im sitting on a park bench in the elements of Saint Louis ( I am here on business) which ranks number 2 for murder with no one to help me . There is sex trafficking, im being looked at like they know I’m not from here and I’m sure I’m going to be preyed upon and maybe not make it through the night without being subjected to traumas . I’m so scared and cold. I am so broken hearted that they could just turn their back on a human life over a policy .

      Best way to describe them SCAMMERS Rented a minivan, was supposed to be $340 a day, which was outrageous!! Ended up charging me $606 a day.I was wondering why there was 100 people in the budget line and no one at hertz.Live and learn!!!

      They rented me an electric vehicle (manager's special), promising to get me 250 miles before it needed to be charged. Not accounting for the fact there were no charging stations along highways that are compatible with non-Teslas. Not accounting for the fact this car needs 8 hours to recharge fully. The car didn't even make it to 200 miles, ran out of electricity, and I was billed for roadside assistance, a vehicle upgrade and gas (even though I returned the new car filled up). Not to mention a Lyft I had to pay for to get to the airport to get a new car. They should have delivered the new car to me! Their customer service is horrible, and they're fraudsters.

      Rented from Grand Rapids and every time I have to return the vehicle to Kalamazoo they over charge and add extra charges every single time. I’ve already file complaints but no answer. They’ve over charged me 1000 dollars each time

      My car was totaled by a hertz renter on September 15th , it is now November 5th . My 2023 Nissan Altima has since been sitting (totaled in my driveway)
      Hertz has yet to even send out an adjuster. Each time I call (which is frequent) I am told the same thing
      “Sorry ma’am try back in a few day”
      There are no higher ups, or managers to speak with.
      And although they are a rental company they are not willing to give me a rental
      Not even a self pay code for a CO-37
      It’s absolutely insane!!
      Beware of Hertz !!!
      Terrible, terrible service!!!

      Hertz car rental at the *********************** is quite the disappointment We are ******** members and received subpar treatment. We came off our flight exhausted and did not find our name ok the board. We approached the counter and seemed like there was a technical issue with the reservation. We imagined with the manager there he would correct the issue and we would be on our way. THE MANAGER REFUSED TO ASSIST US ! His excuse- We waited on line too long and now it was past 12 midnight. We waited on your line !!! Its not that they cannot help. They just did not WANT to help. What a disgrace to good old costumer service. Hertz at the ***********************. Shame on you !! It should be ZERO star

      The Uber Hertz rental office at 3332 San Fernando in LA is the single worst customer service experience of my life. I've had to go to their office four times over a mechanical issue with my car and I waited over one hour every for every visit. The electric car would not take a charge and it ran out of power. I had to drive it back to the rental office before it died, where it sat for days because the office IS CLOSED ON WEEKENDS. Today, the manager Sal tried to charge me the full rental price for the week, when I actually had the car in my possession for two days. This is the worst experience that I have ever had with ANY COMPANY of any kind. Inexcusable,

      Hertz runs a toll scam in Massachusetts. They charge you after the fact for using their toll service even if you never went through any tolls! I complained to the credit card company and Hertz denied my claim and said I never canceled the toll service even though I never used it and followed all the instructions given to me by the car rental agent. Don't use Hertz!!

      The absolute worst. I returned a rental car to the appropriate place at the agree upon time. One of the employees who was too lazy to do it himself, screamed at me to move the car to a different lane. I was flustered and the car scraped a support beam causing minor scratches. I should have just gotten out of the car and told him to move it.Now they are sticking me with a $1600 repair bill.********** *** *******
