      rented an electric vehicle at the hertz in *********** such a great experience!! i was helped by ******, who was fantastic. he explained everything i needed to know about my EV (since ive never had one), got me a brand new car, and was super friendly the whole time.

      The worst experience of my life with a car rental company. The employees don´t know the company's policies. We called to make sure we could rent a car since we are under 21, have a debit card, and do not have an international license. The guy we spoke to assured us multiple times that there would be no problem with these details and that we could rent a car. He made the reservation for us over the phone, and we booked non-refundable hotels for our planned destinations with the car. Today, when we arrived to pick up the car, the worker on the counter told us that we couldn't rent it because we are under 25 and we need a credit card, as well as a return flight ticket to confirm that we are goin to return car (the latter was not mentioned by the worker on the phone). We requested compensation for all the money we lost on the non-refundable hotels we won't be able to stay in due to THE COMPANY's fault. Their employees don´t even know the company's policies, and they assured us we could rent the car and we finally couldn´t when we arrived there after having all our trip planned, because of problems that the employee on the phone told as didn´t exist

      Key fob died on our rental car. Hertz told me I either need to get it fixed at a local auto parts store or exchange the vehicle at the airport, if I can get it there. No other option for me. Terrible.

      We rented a car and our plane flight was changed, we needed an suv because our mom is handicapped. When we called for a later pick up time they said our rental was no longer available they could give us a car. We stated we reserved an suv and we were delayed by 2 hours still said they had no suv for us. We cancelled and reserved through another company. When we got to pick up our car EVERY rental was empty except whom we rented from. I tried to cancel and go back through hertz because and SUV was available unfortunately we were not able to do that I have pictures to prove how busy our rental place was. Its sad that hertz was not able to help a handicap person their service has truly gone done.

      I rented a car from Hertz in Aruba on 10/1-10/8/23 Reservation ***********. My points were due to expire on 10/20/23. I called Hertz on 10/16/23 & spoke with Isabel. My points had not been added to my account yet. She informed me they have not received the receipt yet so she asked me to forward the receipt to *************************** which I did on the same day 10/16/23. Isabel should have informed me that Aruba Hertz is independently owned & licensee location at that time, but failed to. I would have went to rent a car that day so I do not lose my 9,846 points. This is the first opportunity to not let my points expire. On 10/18/23, I received an email from Hertz to say call their department at ************** (Case Number ********). I called & was informed about the independently owned & licensee location at that time. I informed customer service I do not want my points to expire so do I need to go rent a car today. She informed me that she will add 50 points to my account to keep it active. I looked at my Hertz account & I saw the 50 points to make a total now of 9,896 points. Again, if I knew my points were going to expire I would go & rent a car that day. I then asked do I need to rent a car within 90 days. She informed me no I have up to a year. This is the second opportunity to not let my points expire. On 10/26/23, I looked at my Hertz account & my points are now expired which could have been prevented by the other two opportunities with customer service listed above. So again I called Hertz & spoke to Kara (Confirmation Code ********). She sent an escalated ticket to her supervisor to get my points reinstated (because again they would not be expired if I was informed the right information & I would have rented a car on 10/16/23 or 10/18/23 before my points would have expired). She said it would take 3-5 business days to get my points reinstated. I sent 6 emails & 4 phone calls to Customer Service and still have not had my points reinstated.

      Unreliable, misleading listings of their regular an Uber driver and regular auto rental customers.Staff, including, management, hangs up on customers.Quick to issue rental repossessions, even though communication was kept by Uber drivers.Very poor treatment of Uber drivers was noticed.

      If there was a 0 star option that would be it. 2023 luxury car broke down. Stranded at location more than an hour waiting for roadside assistance. Spent another hour in traffic to go exchange the vehicle. No phone number to call rental agency directly.

      ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! If there was a zero to give, that would be the absolute best I could do! From the lack of professionalism to the raising of the manager's voice when asked general questions, to contacting their corporate office and getting absolutely nothing but please take your complaint on line. So here we are! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEVER USING HERTZ!

      I recently had a less-than-pleasant experience with Heartz Car Rental following an unfortunate incident on October 21, 2023. The accident, which was determined to be the fault of a Hartz driver, has left me with a Navy Blue Chevy Suburban in need of repair. Despite the clear determination of fault, I've encountered significant challenges in communication and resolution. The rental record and case number have not been effectively addressed, and I find it quite concerning. Regrettably, I have made numerous attempts to reach out to Heartz regarding the repair process, but the responses have been consistently unhelpful. The staff, although polite, seem uninformed about the next steps, and their behavior has been somewhat rude. Accident Details: Car: Chevy Suburban Navy Blue Location: Circuit of America Parking Lot C Date: 10/21/23 Police Info: Travis County Sheriff's Office, Sally Hernandez, Sheriff, Given the circumstances and the lack of progress, I am left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I sincerely hope Heartz Car Rental can address these concerns promptly and improve its communication and customer service processes.

      Hertz Car Rental's service has become a joke. I am a Presidents level customer. Because of an emergency I had to shorten my trip by one day. They charged me for the day anyway and basically said sorry but that's the way it is. I travel frequently and will be switching to another provider because of the poor customer service.
