      Im a gold plus rewards member and theyve sent me an email for my birthday saying claim 1 free rental day. However, when I try to book a rental with the code provided, its ending up more expensive about $40 then the regular rental cost and they dont include the protection asking to pay $80 more which makes the total above $120 then the regular cost of my rental.

      Horrible communication and customer service! Traveled an hour to pick up my rental after confirming in detail everything over the phone in detail. Get there the guy at front desk runs my card again and asks for $200 more after charging me $500 for 4 day rental. I explain to him that I went over everything on the phone and confirmed pricing credit card information everything went through. He blatantly says yes this happens all the time, theres information missed online that asks for additional deposit I didnt have that much on one card so I asked to put the deposit on anothercard. Granted we are up to $625 for a 4 day rental . Then he leaves and I have to listen to him hanging out in another room with a coworker listening to their caddy conversations for 15 minutes while ** getting more and more upset. He comes back and says no sorry we cant put anything on another card. It all has to be on one card, too much fraud going on around here Needless to say no apology, nothing. He couldnt help me. I cant tell you what a bind it put me in at Christmas time needing a rental for my travels. Do not use Hertz on ************************************** in ********** ******** they suck!

      I will never give hertz my business again. We had reservations for a vehicle and put down a payment for it. When I went to pick up the vehicle they told me that they didnt have what i was looking for but they would rent me one a size up for double the price. They wouldnt honor the reservation and when I called corporate they told me there was nothing that could be done. I dont even see how this is acceptable. And after reading all the other comments Im surprised they are still in business.

      I was going on vacation and needed a rental car. Poked through Expedia and got hotel/frental/flight. Expedia booked me a car 30 minutes across town, and that location was closed! Had to take a Lyft to get to the after hours car rental location, just to have to Lyft another 30 minutes back to the airport. Spent so much time Ordered a full size, did not get a full-size. I reserved AND it took so long trying to get the car I missed check in hotel but was still charged for the night. All together Im out a few hundred bucks. Really set a bad tone for my vacation. After I get back from my vacation I try to contact both Expedia and Hertz. They just run me around and around. Both blaming the other company, neither one willing to explain to me why I reserved the car at 226 was charged 297. I reserved a full size car, I am out the 30 dollars there and the 30 dollars Lyft ride back to the airport, going all the way across town. Took so long it was too late to check in to the hotel that evening but I was still charged.

      Muy mala atención me dieron un carro eléctrico y nunca me explicaron nada del carro estos carros son un hueso completo y aparte en ningún lado me lo han querido cambiar según ellos porque no tienen pero no es cierto porque cuando llamo como si fuera otra persona me dicen que si tienen. Pésima compañía y pésima atención al cliente

      we rented two minivans to take 12 people on a family trip to ********* then **************. When we got to *********, they didn't have our vans and put us in one single 15 seater van that had markings on it of a mechanical problem. The entire week in ********* with seven adults and five kids we spent fixing this van in parking lots all over Vegas in the freezing cold, and sometimes at night in dangerous places. When we made arrangements to exchange the van in **************, they did not have the same size van and put us in a smaller 12 passenger van which was fine for just people, but when you had the luggage, we had people sitting on peoples laps as we drove around. when Hertz didn't have our vehicles to begin with, they actually charged me a $900 upgrade to put us in a vehicle because they didn't have the vehicles that we had reserved. I have since had the runaround with her over and over and over and over again and I'm not exaggerating I have seven different bills. They can't make their mind up as to what I'm supposed to be charged but my bill went from just about $2200 to over **** $ and according to them that was after they gave me all kinds of credits for s******* up, putting me in the wrong vehicle, and giving me a vehicle that needed to be fixed , the executive customer service people have decided my story has no further merit and they're not gonna talk to me. They have refused to get on the phone with me and make you do all of these complaints by email. The counterperson in ********* and the one in ************** were very nice and polite but the rest of her experience has been a freaking nightmare . I would rather walk the snow, then rent from Hertz.

      I made a car reservation to be picked up on 12/22. I go to pick up my car rental and they tell me they dont have the car I requested. They then offered for me to rent a larger vehicle with a significantly up charge increase. I was never notified prior to walking in the doors and I was not willing to pay $300 more than my reservation amount. I then called headquarters and no one could help me there either. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they explained he was in another call but he would call me back within 30 minutes. Its been hours later and no phone call from supervisor. My entire Christmas plans have been ruined and no one at Hertz wanted to make it right. Will never use them again.

      Worst car company i've ever rented a vehicle from. When I returned my vehicle, they Charged me for a full tank of fuel and they charged me for tolls. both I had paid for on my own and had my receipts for. it took me another week and a half of calls and emails to fix and get refunded for both items.

      I purchase a car from this company on 10/07/23 worst mistake I ever made..they didnt even give me a spare key for starters. That should have been the first red flagfast forward here we are almost 2 months later and I still dont have my title. My law they are responsible for producing a title within 60 days and they have failed miserably. Communication is at an all time low. I keep getting a different story every single time I call. My lien holder gave me ********************************************************* my interest rate goes from 6 to 18 percent which is absolutely Unacceptable. Inspections are just about expired. Still cant get my plates because of this. My temp tag is expired on my car.. and the dmv charge you extra for every month after the first 39 days that your car is not registered. I would Never Buy another car or recommend them to ANYONEThe manager *************************** was the absolute worst to work with. He is very disrespectful and just overall horrible. If you are thinking about buying a car from themthink again and DONT!!!!!!

      Hertz is price gouging their customers. I tried to rent a car online today (12/20/2023), only to see that the prices being charged were 3-4X their normal daily prices. I understand it's the holidays, but to charge 3-4X their normal daily cost is egregious. I will never rent from Hertz ever again.
