      I have made a reservation online through Hertz website and after serval attempts and got confirmations I got calls that the reservation won't be honored and the websites are wrong and they simply forgot to turn off the online reservation system which is very misleading / inconvenience , finally I am ready to pick up the car from the Costa Mesa California branch SOUTH HLE 2706 Harbor Blvd Costa Mesa , California, 92626 where I was over charged for not needed services / upgrades I wouldn't necessarily need nor I wanted to at the most horrible customer service experience from a Customer Rep that barely spoke English not attending to my concerns and needs / not explaining that there is a fee for hooking up my Fast Track account to that Electric Pollystar 2 Car where I did have my own account , not asking where I am traveling / driving to so the electric car won't be the best option that I had to stop several times to charge / was very stressful experience where I had to hold my breath watching the battery level going down and not knowing where to charge next in whatever charging station, the reservation / receipt # was pick up Friday Feb 16th.

      Flew into orlando didn't have any vehicles left that we reserved. Gave us a electric piece of garbage that we couldn't get to charge had to spend the night in a whole foods parking lot with twin 5yr olds.Terrible customer service will not be using them again. And the vehicle they exchanged out was a pos also but atleast it used fossil fuel.

      Hertz is aa fraud. Run away from them. I have been trying to return my car for 3 days and unable to get any person on the phone or at a location within 30 miles. Forget using any telephone numbers you find. On-line, on receipts, or on their business cards. They charge, get you into a deceptive contract offer, kill you with hidden fees and basically commit legal fraud due to loopholes. Watch out for their practice of the switcheroo. They will get you into rent a car and then when you get there, they say they don't have it but do have the next most expensive model at a higher price... You're trapped and they know it.

      We booked a car six weeks before our trip. Hertz didn’t have any rentals available when we arrived, so took a ride share that cost us $200 to get to our rental. The customer service representative said Hertz would cover this, but when I submitted the invoice, they declined to pay. Horrible customer experience. I will never rent from Hertz again.

      I really wish they allowed no or negative stars. HERTZ does not take responsibility/accountable for their actions and how far they go in causing long financial consequences. As they knowingly over charge with no explanation or they supply an explanation that would not pass for any other person walking the earth. Hertz blames issues on system errors and stresses it is no fault of anyone working at HERTZ, but you're still over charging. How is that the customers responsibility or fault to balance your books. HERTZ does not allow you to speak to a supervisor or anyone beyond baseline customer service. They will not give direct numbers to departments to clear issues, and only will speak with you after filing a claim on their site and wait 3-7 days for THEM to review and decide IF something needs to done. **************** is EXTREMELY POOR and they know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Their main response to most any question is a resounding "I DO NOT KNOW" and "THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE AT THIS TIME." LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN, PLEASE..... If you constantly want to fight to clear charges and get refunds or have your account overdrawn randomly at HERTZ's pleasure, if that is appealing to you then by all means please continue to rent from HERTZ and their partners or companies they own ie: Thifty, ***********. Otherwise, do yourself a favor, love yourself, protect your peace, keep your stress down, respect your money that you work so hard for and spend it elsewhere. NOTHING GOOD CAN COME FROM WORKING WITH HERTZ OR WILLINGLY GIVING YOUR MONEY TO HERTZ. That should ONLY be done after ALL other avenues have been exhausted, AND there is LITERALLY no other way. Even if you have to BORROW MONEY AND PAY MORE ELSEWHERE it will be the best decision you will ever make. PLEASE I PROMISE, I PROMISE YOU.

      Absolutely AWFUL I rented from ****** and online it told me the only thing I had to pay at counter was $190 as I already paid $550. Well online didnt charge me underage fee okay whatever I get . Ended up paying $400 usd which is another 550 ******** so a total of over $1000 when I coulda rented somewhere else cheaper but based on online stuff this was the best deal ever. Oh yeah AND NO ONE TOLD ME I WAS GETING CHARGED 600 and for what idk? I called and was on hold for 10 mins only for them to say the office is closed. If I was rich this wouldnt bother me but rich or poor Im pretty tempted to ***

      The worst! Very tricky in their pricing. Quote you one price - charge you so much more. The worst online customer service. Seem to pride themselves in giving you a hard time and being rude! Never again!!

      I rented on 2/14 at the ***********. I received a rental record receipt of estimated charges (attached). My rental car was due back at *** at 10:00am on 2/18. I returned the car before 8:30am on 2/18 to the ***********.On 2/17, I received an email with a Hertz receipt claiming that I returned the car to the *************, with a charged for $578.31, including a $400 inter-city fee and taxes and fees that were significantly higher than the estimated charges on my original rental record. I called Hertz on 2/17 and spoke to an agent for over *********************************************** ****. *** receipt claims the car was driven 175 miles. *** distance between *** and Aspen is 390 miles. She said she could not resolve the issue until the car was returned because it needed to be proven the car was not in ********. Another rental receipt from Hertz stating that I returned the car to the *********** on the night of 2/17 at 8pm, and additional $315 was placed on my credit card. I still had the car per my rental agreement.When I returned the car to *********** on the morning of 2/18, the agent said they could not do anything because the case was "closed" twice. ***refore, I was not given an accurate rental receipt. I have contacted customer service every day for the past four days. **************** continually refers me back to the airports. It is not possible to contact Hertz at airports directly. I emailed the manager at *********** and did not get a response. I currently have $893.31 in charges from Hertz on my credit card (see screenshot attached). **************** will not refund me until they have "heard back" by email from both the *** and Aspen airports. I have emailed the fraud department at Hertz - no response. Keeping these charges on my credit card costs me money and affects my credit score. ***y need to be removed immediately.

      What can I say! Had a very bad experience at Hertz Atlanta Hartsville Airport. We arrived 2 hours late but before Hertz closing time of 2 am. Huge line of people waiting for cars and they had none left even though I reserved a car and paid one month in advance. We waited in line for hours and were stranded at the airport with no car. We did hire an Uber and arrived at my nephews house at 5am. Do yourself a favor. Don’t use Hertz and definitely check customer reviews and BBB!!!!

      They will rent you a stinky car then charge you $300 to vacuum up some dog hairs out of the back seat, claiming their vacuum doesnt work so they have to take it in for detailing. Also when the man first called to tell me about this charge I offered to come clean it myself and he refused. He then said he could drop the charge to $200 but charged me $300 anyways. Its laughable to even charge $200 to vacuum a backseat and I cant believe they get away with this thievery. Shame on you and I hope you feel good making people already very stressed about finances even more stressed! Pathetic.
