      This company should change your name from Hertz to Crooks where should I start first off when I call nobody ever answers the phone when I call customer service it takes a long time for somebody to pick up my issue with them is that I close my account about a month ago and he still charging my credit card when I don't have the vehicle anymore and when I do speak to customer service they do not resolve my problem they push me to send an email out and I don't get a response back from company I am very upset disappointed and feel violated I never authorized them after I close my account for them to keep charging me for something I don't have I hope this is resolved

      I showed up to pick up the vehicle I had reserved on ********************* in *******, ** and they told me they only had upgrade vehicles and I would need to pay $20-50 a day more to have one of those vehicles. While I was there they did the same thing to the four people who came after me. This is a scam and fraudulent.They should not be allowing reservations for vehicles they do not have on hand and if they accidentally do that they should be providing free upgrades. I had been dropped off and was stranded waiting for someone to come get me. I could not financially afford to pay for the upgrade. My husband and I spoke with someone from the 800 number and also on ******* but they also refused to help. Only offering for me to pay for an upgrade which I could not afford. This is terrible customer service. We will not book with ********************** again.

      Unfortunately, this place gets a star it doesnt deserve. I made a reservation online and went to the airport to pick up a rental car, but once I arrived, the lady at the front desk told me she wasnt going to accept my reservation. This made me mad. Why bother to go through the reservation process if you arent going to honor the reservation? To make matters worse, my boyfriend called customer service and they told him they can see my name in the system so they dont see the problem. However, when I called customer service, they told me they cant honor the reservation and asked if I wanted to cancel. When they canceled the reservation they didnt want to acknowledge my frustrations and hung up on me, which made me even more mad than I was before. What a lousy company! Glad I dodged a bullet here.

      Less than 1 star - long story short Hertz would not refund my account after dropping the car off early I talked to numerous hertz customer service people who all assured me Id have my money back within 7-10 business days - I asked to speak to the supervisor ****** who said you were refunded yesterday -if its not in your account take it up with your bank- and hung up on me, so I did my bank got me my money back - two months later Hertz sent me to collections for the exact amount they owed me. 9 month ordeal still going on.

      When we go to rent the car, no one let us now if we use the paytoll, we have to pay for their partner company platepass 9.99 per day extra fee. After we finish the trip and go home, we got the email bill and they have charged my credit card directly and without any notifications and agreement. When we try to contact this company, ask them why they changed me directly without my agreement. They just said they have to charge because we use pay toll. I told them if I knew you would charge me 9.99 per day I would not use. But no one let me know. Then, they have no more respond. They are liars and try to cheating people money.

      WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!! THE WORST!!! My wife booked our months in advance to ensure we would have a large suv for our familys ski trip for spring break. We prepaid, again to ensure we would have our vehicle. When we arrived to the Hertz Airport location In *********** no one was in the office. We waited about ten minutes for Someone to come to help us and no one came. My wife stepped outside and politely asked a man with a hertz jacket if anyone was working and he yelled, SOMEONE WILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU!. A minute later a different man came in and immediately said in a loud sarcastic tone, Do you want to have some patience or do you want a car?! My wife was not rude to that man, she did not deserve that comment. My wife gave the man our reservation information and he replied, again rude, shhwe dont have that car! We are all rented out, every car rental place is. There are literally no cars. I might be able to find a small suv but it may take a while. So my wife came to let me know. I came in and asked the man, in a calm and regular tone, excuse me, did you tell me wife she could be patient or have a car? I dont understand what you would say that to her and I dont understand why you would not have our reservation. The man then began to yell at me about not having any cars etc I asked him, why are you yelling at me? You need to lower your voice. Then the other man walked up and they both started yelling at me. The one man then lunged forward aggressively and slammed his head on the counter in my face and told me to, GET THE **** OUT!!! We will not help you!!! I asked for their names so that I could file a complaint and they refused to give me any information. I asked for their supervisors name, they refused. I asked if Hertz had a policy for when a customer asked for information and they told me, Hertz has a policy for you can leave now!. They even refused to speak to a customer service rep whom I had called.

      The Hertz Corporation and my ***************** are currently working my State Farm Claim. The damages to the rented vehicle was not my fault. The case is open. I am about to file a complaint against The Hertz Corporation for sending me to COLLECTIONS for a sum of $4569.54. This is not a fair business practice.

      I arrived at the rental office to pick up a vehicle - it was pure chaos, representatives were assisting multiple customers at once and answering phones. We were handed our keys and sent to find the vehicle on our own. There was no opportunity to review or discuss existing damage. Upon returning the vehicle we, again, were not able to walk around the vehicle with anyone due to their disorganization. Two days later I got significant credit card companies but could not get anyone on the phone to explain. I went to the Hertz office and people who arrived after me were served for a total of 30 minutes before I spoke up and requested assistance. The woman then began screaming that I needed to file a claim with my insurance company because I damaged their car on the bumper. Knowing I had not, I filed a claim and explained the info to my insurance. Hertz is refusing to contact my insurance company and instead sending me bills and photos for a variety of dings and scratches on the vehicle which I know I did not create. They refuse to discuss their failure to allow me to document existing damage and refusal to walk through the vehicle with me upon return. It feels like a total scam, and I feel absolutely railroaded and at my wits end. I will never rent a car from Hertz again and plan to warn anyone I can about their deceptive and predatory tactics of managing their vehicles.

      I like this business but they deleted my account after al the money I spent thru them and I had free rentals that would have help me thru the struggle I have been thru . *********************** is the name not to happy about this would like a resolution and keep our business going before I go back to enterprise and post how I really fill .

      They are committed fraud and charging fee around 700 dollar after drop off and customer said to refund it and this business recharged it the next day to get away with. They seem to lie and have no evidence to back up these charges. They have multiple reviews that they do this often to customers
