Poor customer service. Almost impossible to talk to someone on the phone. The whole management needs to be fired!!!!

This is to hertz/uber rentals. I rented a tesla to drive Uber when I got the car there was a warning sign for the tires that it needs to be serviced and inspected or rotated and the representative told me don’t worry about it just wait until the next maintenance service on the car which will be at 65,000 miles at the time the car said 62,000 so I waited. After driving the car for sometime I kept getting warnings signs and eventually the tires went flat I kept filling air throughout the time but every week was an issue I took it in to a shop and they said the rims had a crack that’s puncturing the tires it cost me $205 to fix out of my pocket, I tried multiple time to get through with someone to let them know about the issues I’m having throughout time and no answer. I went in physically to the office and they didn’t properly handle the situation well. Very unprofessional! So I left after I returned the car the next day I was told everything on my end was clear is disputed I handed them the keys and walked out with the receipt and the following day they charged my card $679.64 for still having the car I returned. Not only did they charge me for a week that I didn’t have the car anymore, I spent my personal money to fix the car and put 2 brand new tires and fixed rims, from a car that wasn’t supposed to be given to me in the first place because of the issues it was having. When I let them know about the issue one of the young ladies said “oh well that’s your problem”. This car ended up costing me $4000 and nothing was done about the issue and I never got my $500 hold back from renting. Right after I handed them the keys knowing the car had issues they rented it to someone else and didn’t even inspect it first. I told the person what’s going on and to not rent that car, the office seemed upset and wanted me to leave. Then my card was charged multiple times as well as another weeks rental, I filed a fraud claim that’s being investigated now.

I rented a car through rentalcars.com from Hertz. When I rented the car on rentalcars.com, I was told that all taxes and fees were included. However, on the day of pickup, I was charged $253, which included a $200 deposit, a $16 concession fee, and $32 in taxes. Upon returning the car, I received a receipt that included a $52 tax charge, a $16 concession fee, and an $84 charge for unlimited tolls. I never requested unlimited tolls, nor did I sign any documents to purchase them. When I called customer service and spoke to Miss Lee, she informed me that the toll fee is non-refundable and advised me to contact ez-pass for details, which seems illogical. Despite my explanation that I was billed by Hertz, Miss Lee insisted on following procedure. This situation has been incredibly frustrating, and I refuse to pay for a service I never requested or used. I demand that you verify whether I signed any documents to purchase unlimited tolls or review your camera recordings to confirm whether I requested them. This rental experience with Hertz has been my worst to date, and I will not be using their services again. I intend to file complaints with relevant websites to share my experience, and I will also inform my bank that I did not purchase unlimited tolls and refuse to pay for them unless proof of my consent is provided.

Hertz Car Rental - Lovell Field Airport is discriminating against me for no reason. I understand this is a private business and it can do as it pleases but I have no tickets, I have a valid driver license, and I have never had a car accident in a rental car so the only other conclusion is that it is something about me that this location doesn’t like and doesn’t agree with about me.

This review is for anyone who cares about being possibly tracked by someone other than **********. We rented to car in ********* and departed the area. While driving in **, a tracking device was found that was wrapped in waterproof tape, tied up in a black sock and tied to the underside of the car. I disabled the device after determining that it was not a hazard to our well-being. I notified the agent returning the car, and they say to call the main office and talk with security. Hertz does not have a security ***** and after 10+ calls, 3 emails, I got a response to say "they're sorry for the problem, and have a one day rental on them" to settle the issue. Our rental was 8 days , and they offer a 1 day rental.I have seen too many times overseas where same thing happens and it does not go as well for the people in the ********* is not the issue, safety is to me. And a little better customer service with these issues and resolving them.

Hertz did not have the mid sized SUV I had reserved and only had a smaller electric vehicle. Because the ** was smaller than what I reserved, I was forced to leave one of my suitcases behind as it would not fit. I was also not expecting to drive back in an ** which took much longer to get back home with longer and more frequent charging stops. Because of this I arrived home after Hertz had closed, so I had to return the vehicle the next morning and was charged more for an extra day. If they had the vehicle I had reserved I would have arrived home much sooner and would not have had to leave my suitcase behind. The Hertz employees did not seem to care about these issues at all. By far the worst rental car experience I've ever had.

Hertz is the absolutely worst company to work for. They have horrible management, the managers use bad language and blame everything on the lower levels. The managers also call out all the time but if you need to call out for Emergency they get mad cuss at you and say emergencies don't mean **** Then tell you they can call out when ever they want because the are salary. Then you try and report the verbal abuse to the HR and they just tell you that it's your word against the managers and they been here longer. But then they wonder about the turn over. Maybe if they treated the lower levels better they wouldn't have so much turn over.

I returned my rental on3/9/24 and received an email 4/1/24 stating that I wouldnt receive my deposit back because you guys are saying I owe for 3/11-3/18. I called customer service 5 times before I was even able to get a hold to a real person who then stated I have to call back in 5-7 business days to figure out the escalated issue. Poor customer service and very inhumane
