      SIGNED AND RENTED A CAR UNDER MY NAME. Fraud charges on an open account and refused to resolve.

      This has been the worst place they dont answer theyre phone for day and there customer service is not unprofessional and doesnt help you with your need by having to come and get a rental from them I wouldnt recommend no one to them they r the worst rental company and need to be closed

      I would leave -5 stars if allowed. I am having an item shipped to me that was left behind. I paid for 1 business day delivery. The item only shows as having the label created. I have spent a total of 3 hours today trying to reach a human being only to be hung up on or to have a voicemail come on. This is wildly terrible customer service and I still do not have my item.

      My experience with this location has been an absolute disaster. I arrived today to pick up a prepaid gas car and I found out there were no gas cars available. There were electric cars available, but I wont rent an electric car again because the infrastructure for charging the car is not widely available. There was also a giant pickup truck available that was too big to drive safely. I cancelled my trip and went back to *************. Hertz keeps trying shove their electric car fleet down everyones throat by using a bait and switch tactic. You prepay for a gas car then you are told there are no gas cars then you are offered an electric car, which is a royal pain in the a** to manage in rural areas. It should be illegal to pull this ********. I called customer service to ask for a refund and I could barely understand the woman on the phone because of her accent. I asked her to email me the phone number for billing, but she just hung up. I have no idea what happened to Hertz. They have been horrible ever since the ***** epidemic. I will never rent from Hertz again. I have had it. PS: I better get a full refund for this disaster.

      I rented a car online and received an email confirmation from a business call Thrifty, which has the same address for the Hertz car rental location. When I went to rent the car, no one was in the office and no one answered the phone. I called another Hertz location, and they told me that they don't deal with Thrifty rentals and could not help me out. Luckily there was an enterprise nearby that I was able to rent from, otherwise I would have been late picking up my son from afterschool care. I am extremely disappointed in both businesses and I would not recommend them.

      I have been dealing with hertz for about 2 yrs because I didnt have a vehicle at the time but need transportation. I only use 1 of the 2 locations near me but its not the office reps that I have a problem with. The problem I always experience is with the over the phone customer service that can never help with my issues. They are overseas reps that dont care about what you experience and can never give me a detailed explanation why Im being charge more than the original agreement. They always have long hold times and the office reps never have the ability to help with charges or pricing. You rsvp a vehicle but when u get there they never have one available. I am a hertz presidential gold member but there are no perks, I might as well be a regular member. The over the phone customer service is rude and never able to resolve my issues. They tell me that they dont have a billing department but have no problem taking my money. I can never really understand them bc of the language barrier. I work customer service and their customer service is one of the worst I have experienced. Im always told that I have to call the 800 number but they are never any help. I dont usually report businesses but Im really fed up with dealing with them. Tried contacting corporate but never got a response back. Its like they dont care about their customers but they care about taking your money. Its truly a sad corporation and it can be a lot better but they dont really care.

      This car rental company has a complete insurance racket going on. It defrauds its customers and probably even its vehicle insurance companies in the following way:- They purposefully rented me a *** ******** in *********, ** on 6/09/23 with full knowledge that *** is the most stolen vehicle in the **;- The car did get stolen in *********, ** on 6/10/23. Hertz provided me with a replacement at a cost to me (my wedding time + Uber charges to go to the airport to pickup the new vehicle);- On 6/11/023 the car was recovered. - Hertz only reported in their own internal report the car stolen on 7/8/23. What happened in between ?. Did they get cash from the insurance company for the whole value of the stolen vehicle ($19,000). Did they then after recovery of the vehicle keep the cash from the insurance company and got a repair estimate of $1,800 on 7/24/23 to double-dip on me.- With that repair estimate in hand they only contacted me on November 30, 2023. It took them more than 4 months to contact me after getting their estimate ?.- I proceeded to involve AMEX because I had originally declined the *** and Theft Protection. AMEX has really behaved very correctly and has already paid them $1,000 with the $800 balance on its way.- But here comes the icing on the cake... Last week I rented another Hertz vehicle for delivery in *********. They charged my AMEX credit card and even confirmed the rental via email. Upon arrival at the counter in *********, they refused to give my rental because I have been placed on a "DO NOT RENT LIST" within Hertz. What a company. Incredible but true !

      I rented a 2023 Dodge Durango from 4/18/2020 through. 4/23/2024., The car was filthy. it had a gel smeared on the rear-view mirror and the inside of the windows. it reeked from the smell of Marihuana which made my grandchildren nauseous. There was tobacco all over the car and cacked in mud on the inside of the doors. the car looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. I was running late for a funeral and did not have time to go back to the service desk and wait for another car

      Made reservation online for a Model3 which was guaranteed. I got to the Hertz in Bowling Green KY. They don’t have a Tesla or any other EV. The manager said there is nothing she could do. She wanted to give me a malibu, not comparable to a model 3 at all and she did not care that I drove an hour to rent it. That I wasted money and time driving an hour to get there. Worst Hertz in the nation and not caring employees. Guarantee doesn’t mean a thing in Hertz. Being a gold member doesn’t mean anything either.

      If I could give them 0 stars I would. They charged me ****** cleaning/smoking fee. Vehicle was never smoked in and was not dirty at all. I didn't even have the vehicle 24 hours and put maybe 30 miles on it. So really how? No one checked the vehicle back in in front of me. This charged just appeared days later. I've gotten the run around from Hertz can't talk to anyone. I don't have money to just throw away on the subpar vehicles they rent. While I was actually there renting and lady came back in mad that her car smelled and is nasty and demanded a new vehicle. SO you charge me for a vehicle that had obviously been smoked in before and not taken well care of. *** I've got to go thru a whole dispute with my credit card. Thanks Hertz. Illegally taking money from a single mom. DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ.
